I LOVE these glasses! I have several in my cupboard, and just about everyone I know, has received one as a gift. They are great!
An ideal 'have tea anywhere' set that combines a glass cup with a removable stainless steel infuser. Perfect for home or office use. Dishwasher safe.

I LOVE these glasses! I have several in my cupboard, and just about everyone I know, has received one as a gift. They are great!
I love this little thing! just don't put cold water in it after have hot! I'll buy a couple more probably. The glass 'seems' thin, but really it's not since it's chemically hardened glass. The Germans really know what they're doing in that respect.
I love this, although I find it difficult to get tea-bits out of the slits in the filter. It makes a lovely cup of tea, though.
I got the ingenuiTEA first and use it more often, it's quite convenient. I do like the glass minuet too though and tend to use it when I feel like making it more of a special occasion (fancier). It does tend to let finer particles through more than the ingenuiTEA though.
I have a Glass Minuet at the office and one at home. I just love the no nonsense nature of this gadget so much so that I've purchased a few as gifts over the years. I'm happy now that replacement part available ? this item is not for those who tend to drop things.
Love this for brewing a single serving, I keep this at work permanently. Works great, easy to clean, the only problem is sometimes tea leaves get trapped in the slots of the infuser.
this is my favorite item not just for myself but also for my friends as a gift! very comfortable to use, and fun to watch steepign teas.
I love the size of this cup. My only issue with it is that tea leaves get stuck in the tiny glass slits and it can be a challenge to get them out so it's fully clean.
Bought several of these as Christmas gifts. Beautiful! The glass is sturdy and a great value since you get 6 sample teas to try. I ended up buying one for myself to wean myself off coffee. Great gift.
I don't use it anymore because it does not filter out all the leaves. It uses slits in the glass rather than a mesh. Its cool to show to friends but thats about it.
Until I used my new glass minuet I had been tea brewing challenged. My first cup of Dragon Well green tea was the best I have ever made using this cup. Not only was the tea good but it was delightful to watch the tea leaves swirling around while brewing. What a great product.
I can't believe I waited through four orders to buy this! What a great cup! Have not had any trouble with tea escaping the filter. Also wonderful because even when the water is boiling in the cup, the handle remains cool. I recommend this over the paper filters. A MUST HAVE!!
Does let some tea fall through the hole... lots fragile but actually feels durable... fun to watch
I use this cup several times a day at work. It is neat to watch the tea brewing. The only disadvantage is that the leaves can go through or get stuck in the slits in the infuser.
I bought one of those for the office, and then had to buy another one for home! It's easy to make a great cup of tea, and the size/shape is perfect. Once you've used glass teaware, it's hard to use anything else!
This is a quality unit, but not really made for people who microwave water for tea in the cup. If you do this, you will place the filter into the already full cup and the tea leaves naturally remain floating at the top. It is ideal for someone who is preparing tea by pouring hot water directly onto the leaves from a kettle.
Perfect for fruit teas. I like the all in one feature, and the lid for resting the insert.
This is OK for the black and oolong teas - but other people have also mentioned the rooibos teas getting stuck in the glass infusers. That happens in this cup as well. That said, this is a really neat, self contained way to infuse your tea and bring it to the table with a minimum of fuss. I am glad I got it.
Ooh! What a fun piece! I dunk in the infuser and the tea leaves just swirl around like magic! Great for the office or just enjoying a cup at a time (so you can switch flavors)! Only a tiny bit of sediment when I used it with the roobios tea. I think I have to order a second one!
This is a wonderful glass; I take it with me for travel and it works great.
Bought this for my son who is becoming a tea critic. He likes that it works like the Mikado tea pot we have and it is his.
I love it! Not only is it beautiful to look at - allowing you the full pleasure of watching the tea steep, but it functions perfectly. I find it easy to clean as well. Smaller leaves do tend to get stuck in the drainage slits, but they easily rinse out.
Delightful! Perfect for when you want to fully enjoy the best tea, but without the whole 'gong-fu cha' production. I use mine at work, and people actually drop by to discuss the leaves.
I ordered the glass minuet with my first tea order because I had never prepared loose tea before. I wasn't sure what to expect but it made the brewing of the tea very easy and clean up was simple too! I'm ordering another cup today because I accidentally knocked it off the filing cabinet at work! I've been tea deprived and that's not a good thing when the tea is from Adagio!
Love these glasses since they can be used for just about any kind of tea including Rooibos
All I can say is that this is Heaven-sent! The perfect size - not too large, not too small. Perfect if your in the mood for different flavors instead of a pot of the same kind!
Very nice item, easy to brew and drink tea and pretty too! Everyone should have one!
Great cup for my afternoon tea. Some of the leaves do get through the infuser so I strain the tea before drinking. Overall, however, this is a great cup to prepare tea for one.
I bought this for work and have enjoyed the convenience. It has prompted several questions giving an opportunity to recommend Adagio.
Excellent cup! Never had a problem with leaves in the strainer or glass breaking, and i've hit it pretty good a few times. The handle fits the hand nicely, and the infuser gives plenty of room for the tea to steep; ideal if you like to watch your tea work its magic. Perfect for work, just pop it in the microwave - so convenient and easy to clean. I highly recommend this cup!
I like to watch the tea leaves dance after pouring on the hot water. The clear cup shows all the amber colors of the tea and makes for great taste and a pleasure for the eyes.
Good for one cup, can be a pain to clean the filter.
The glass seems so fragile, but it hasn't broken yet. Works well even with rooibos teas that usually work their way through even the tightest weave of tea ball.
This is a really smart looking piece. Makes the perfect cup of tea and feels great cupped in my hands.
I love this thing! It is the easiest and coolest way to brew tea. Worth every penny!
Neat! The design is compact and clever - everything (lid, mug and filter) all fit together for storing away. Bits do tend to get stuck in the filter if you use a tea with small pieces. Perfect for one.
Makes for a lovely mug of tea. The handle is a bit close to the side though and you want to be careful not to burn your knuckles.
The minuet is very nice! Although the glass is a touch thinner than I'd prefer, the size is perfect. It is so much easier than prepareing a whole pot of tea, when I'm the only one drinking it. I'm going to buy another for work!
well...it works good.
Some tea leaves were stuck in the glass filter of this cup, and I feel like it could break easily. It's a nice idea, but seems too delicate.
I love this item! I was a little worried since some reviews said it was so fragile, but I haven't had a problem with it. Very elegant little design, and pops in the dishwasher for cleaning. Great!
The glass seems thin, but I have dropped all three of the pieces and none of them broke. The handle is balanced well in proportion with the cup.
Great for a two cup size dose of tea. The strainer keeps most of the tiny tea bits out of the cup itself. Very handy and convenient.
I use this all the time. It's one of the most elegant pieces of teaware I own and I love it.
This glass is great to use. Watching the tea work its magic is great, and you can easily choose the right time to pull it out! Display teas also work nicely.
Great for a quick mug of tea. The only complaint that I have it that it doesn't work too well with the rooibos tea which is too fine to use in the filter, some of the leaves slip through and end up in your drink.
I am as much fascinated by a tea's appearance as I am its taste. This clear glass minuet provides a perfect steeping mechanism (with infuser) and tea display. I bought one for home and one for the office! The lid/coaster is handy for those of us too lazy to return to the kitchen to dump the leaves - you can place the infuser in the lid until you are done!
I love to watch the tea dance in this cup. It is also nice to have a coaster for the strainer.
The glass is certainly fine for viewing your tea. Office workers beware; the glass filter is much harder to clean, and more finicky to use than a regular mesh filter. Dishwasher safe? Dishwasher required.
Works well, but smaller than it looks. The strainer takes up a lot of the volume within the cup. Also, be careful, it's not insulated - don't touch it right after you pour hot water into it!
