I have only had this minuet for a week, right now it seems very fragile, but we will see how it stand up to the test of time. It looks lovely sitting on my desk.

This glass is perfect for the person on the go. I have never had anything easier to make tea with. It is easy to clean and maintain.

These are by far the best way to make tea. unlike the mesh strainers and tea balls these are very easy to clen.

This is the most fun way to make tea for one. My all time favorite cup. Love watching the tea brew.

I wasn't a tea drinker until recently, and I had never used loose leaves before. The minuet made it easy (along with the online video). I did have a few leaves wander out from the strainer into my cup. I'm not sure if that's normal or not, but it didn't hinder the enjoyment of the tea! I'm planning to get a second one for the office!

the glass minuet does the job, however it is too small for the cup of tea that I enjoy.

Love it! Now buying a 2nd one to keep at work. The top that doubles as a catcher for the infuser is a lovely bonus. All these beautiful Adagio teas taste even better when you can see them while you brew & drink them.

love it! used daily. seeing your cup o tea brewing sure helps from over brewing. i now just go by clarity/color in brewing.

I like being able to see the tea, but I'm always nervous that I'm going to break this thing! I have wound up using the glass infuser with my teapot, as well, it works great. Wish Adagio would carry more infusers of different types.

I really love this item. It makes using loose tea sooo easy! It was much more lightweight than I expected too.

This was a gift for my roommate. It's lightweight and surprisingly sturdy. He uses it almost daily and swears by it.

It is okay, the small slits that allow water to go thru often clog up though.

Tiny slits in bottom of infuser means minimal tea in cup, and water still flows out quickly when removing. Bad: The tea infuser is HOT when removing! and you must hold it for a few seconds while the water drains out. And you can really only do it over a sink - a little more messy than I'd like. I have an old steel tea infuser I like better for a single cup.

This is the perfect thing for brewing just one cup!

Very fragile. About a quarter of the thickness of a regular mug. Would not purchase from the glass line again.

I keep this in my locker at the library, and it's great. I don't imagine it would travel well, being glass and all, but for sedentary use it's very good.

This makes a perfect cup of tea at work. Everyone as been asking about it.

Easy to use, fun to watch.

This was very easy to use, and I love the fact that it is glass. It might be a little difficult to clean manually, but a dishwasher with those "dissolve everything" detergents should work well.

Nice size. Lightweight. I always am afraid that I'm going to break it but I haven't so far!

I have two of these (one at work and one at home) and just gave one more to my girlfriend. They're great for the single cup brewer! A bit of a pain to clean though (the leaves get stuck in the little slits at the bottom of the center piece.

i love this! every day after work i make myself a cup of tea using the glass minuet. it looks lovely, and it makes great tea with a minimal mess!

I liked the minuet because it allowed me to see my tea which is very important to me, however the only thing I really don't like about it is the design of the handle, which if you are looking at the picture, you can see it is just a simple C shape. I have found that unless I hold it just right, my fingers slide down and get burned on the side of the glass. I realize that some of you reading may think I am totaly anal however, this really bothers me, and I thought maybe its just the way I hold my mug, but my boyfriend also has the same problem, so maybe we are just both anal, however to any other anal folks out there be forwarned!!! Otherwise fine product, sturdy glass and filter...oh yeah, I looked EVERYWHERE to see if I could find any of Adagio's teaware cheaper, and I could not, I firmly believe that Adagio has the best prices for this particular teaware(including teapots, etc.).

I love the Minuet. The handle never gets hot. You could buy the infuser separately, and use it with a Clarity Cup (available on Adagio), but you also get the glass lid, which works well and doubles as a holder for the infuser when you've finished steeping. The tempered glass is fragile, but not as fragile as you might think. Truly the best medium for tea infusing- I can tell the difference between metal infusers and tempered glass.

it's alright, I wouldn't get it again, I prefer a tea ball for cups and a pot for quantity

This was a gift. I personaly think it was a little thin. It also looked like the leaves would slip throught the holes in the strainer. I would recommend the Aria pot for most people. I have four of those and am very happy with them. However, it is good for the office or for travel if you dont break it.

It is simply beautiful to watch the tea brew!

I am not pleased with this product as the tea leaves leak through. I would like to return this item and find a product that will not leak.

1 point off for fragility (the glass is extremely weak: for example, the cover/coaster can briefly stick via liquid surface tension to a used moist infuser, and may fall off and shatter before you realize what's happened.
2 points off for the price, which is too much given the fragility problem.
I would like the same product with a thicker more durable glass.

Perfect solution for a personal brew at the office. Works well with an instant hot water tap for green teas.

As my new Glass Minuet is brewing a cup of white a'cappella in front of me, I watch with a smile. This simple design is perfect for life in a college dorm.

This glass is a good idea and seems to be serving me well, but the strainer-glass that sits inside the mug seems a bit large and sits a bit oddly (in fact, the inside piece is significantly larger than the picture on the box shows... did something go wrong?) Despite the awkward inside piece, this -is- a much more convenient alternative to loading up mesh tea balls every time you want tea, if you're like me and make one cup at a time. (Also for those who use tea balls: this could save you money in the long run, too, since I've found most tea balls begin to get loose, clogged, or even rusty after only a month if you use them enough and need replacing).

This is an excellent tool for fixing tea! So easy & light weight. I love it!

This product is okay, but the glass infuser can get very hot, and be difficult to remove.

I like this - you can see your tea brewing which I really appreciate. Like the Clarity cup, the handle can be hard to hold-since they are the same. It would be really nice if the cup gets an improved design.

I do enjoy this mug. It is beautiful and practical. The only problem I have with it is some of the smaller leaves can make it through the infusing chamber.

beautiful, it was a gift and well received. wish I had my own, but with 5 children, someone else will enjoy it in one piece, whereas mine would be in millions of pieces.

I liked this pot a lot, but it was very fragile, and the inner sieve broke in our kitchen sink. I prefer your plastic pots - a better bet for a family with children.
