I'm very happy that I had the option of just ordering the lid instead of the whole set.
An ideal 'have tea anywhere' set that combines a glass cup with a removable stainless steel infuser. Perfect for home or office use. Dishwasher safe.

I'm very happy that I had the option of just ordering the lid instead of the whole set.
I use this at work and I absolutely love it. Am even thinking of getting a few for the house for when guests come over. Great way to make a single cup of tea.
Bought a second one for work, and a third as a gift
I have my Glass Minuet at work and it is wonderful. I am an instructor and the students are getting intrigued by the many different varieties of tea. There is some dust on the bottom of the cup with most varieties of tea but not enough to make it bitter, nothing I would complain about and it is easy to clean.
I love this set! It's very delicate. I usually like to have a larger cup of tea, but this is great, too.
I love this nifty little cup! It looks great, is quite durable, and portable..the only problem is that the smaller leaves get stuck in the slits at the bottom of the infuser, but one swipe with a paper towel or a toothbrush takes care of that.
love the glass itself, however the strainer lets too much stuff thru.
I have ha trouble keeping smaller leaves such as he rooibos from falling through the holes in other infusers. This infuser works great- a worthwhile purchase
This beautiful teacup allows you to watch the tea brew in an almost relaxing way. I wish it kep the tea warm a bit longer.
much sturdier than it looks. I've even dropped the lid a couple of times onto a vinyl floor and it still stayed in one piece. Fantastic design, beautiful look.
I bought one for work and loved it so much I bought one for home.
The glass minuet is great. It works very well for infusing tea and it's very easy to clean out and easy to remove from the cup when the tea is done infusing. The glass cup that comes with this set is excellent. I got a tea pot with an infuser so I don't use the infuser much anymore but the cup that came with it is the one I always use for tea. I like it better than any other cup I've ever used.
This is my 'at work' system for great tea. As other reviewers have said, there is some 'tea dust' at the bottom of the cup but not enough to be a bother. And I have not really had the problem of bits getting stuck in the diffuser slits, they usually rinse right out as long as you don't let them dry there. Not as fragile as it seems, I love this set! Just bought my husband one so he will quit borrowimg mine at the office.
Very nice for making a mug of tea. Lovely clear glass that is very shatter resistant (I have dropped it a few times). The only drawback is the infuser -- small tea leaves sometimes get stuck in the small slits. Jenaer is out of business so I would buy this sooner rather than later if you are thinking about it.
Wonderful cup - I use it daily. I like it better than the InguiTea cups that I have.
I am so in love with this!!! I know that some folks don't like it because it lets some 'dust' and smaller leaves through, which it does, but what it does let through is very miniscule. I also have the PersonaliTEA and I must say that the diffuser in the minuet is MUCH easier to clean than the wire mesh in the PersonaliTEA. Although I still love my PersonaliTEA for making 2 cups at a time! :-)
This little glass is perfect for the office. I make a cup of tea before heading into a meeting and when it is time to drain the leaves and drink the tea, the lid is the perfect resting place for the basket. I am all for self-containment and this minuet.
The infuser is rather annoying in that things get stuck in the little drain-slits. I wouldn't get this type infuser again.
Nice idea, but a sturdier strainer would be in order. And as mentioned, it DOES allow a little more tea dust than usual to seep through...seriously go for the IngenuiTEA instead. The small size is very portable, and being plastic it won't break.
I bought this as a gift for a friend who loves teas. He loves the way this looks and the functionality of the product. He's been drinking teas with this every day ever since I gave it to him!
I love it. I've always used bagged tea before but my brother told me about Adagio teas. I wasn't sure at first but now that I have the Glass Minuet, it make brewing loose tea a breeze.
I got myself this little set for work. I use it all day, every day!
I use this one at work all the time. Cleans up fast and easy, especially if you don't have a kitchen area in your office for a proper soap and water cleaning in a sink.
I love this cup! Watching a display tea 'bloom' in it is one of my current favorite diversions. The cup is stronger than it appears; I've knocked mine several times, with no damage at all. Those Germans can produce some tough stuff. I find a used toothbrush very handy to clean the little slots at the bottom of the diffuser, the only fussy thing I've found about this, but actually it slows me down just a bit when I'm handling and cleaning it, which is part of the benefit of tea-drinking. I just take a deep breath and . . . all is well.
Works great, feels great in your hand, nice lip on it, I would give it a great rating.
this is good, but the glass is quite thin. i expect it will not last very long.
This set is beautiful and functional. The only glitch is some of the rooibos teas are too fine and slip through.
I love this little cup! Well, it's not so little, its perfect! It looks fragile but it's not. But just incase I've taken to hand washing it instead of using the dishwasher.
This is great. There is a little tea left at the bottom of the cup, but that is expected. This wouldn't work with rooibos.
A pleasure to use and watch. Especially welcome for the morning cup of tea. I will buy another.
Great, easy to clean. I like using this glass/infuser for the larger tea leaf varieties as opposed to the stainless steel tea balls. Infuser can be used in most other mugs as well. Only downside is smaller sized tea leaves tend to clog the infuser making it hard to take out.
I make my tea in this every morning. It's fantastic -- sooo easy to use and very visually appealing. I guess I'm more of a mug person than a tea cup person. If you're the same way, buy this!!!
I love my new glass teacup! It's easy to clean, makes a beautiful cup of tea.
Very high quality glass. Easy to use. I don't recommend it for fine teas since they tend to pass through the filter part.
I really like this cup. Perfect for making a cup of tea at work. Only thing is sometimes some of the tea get through the filter and into your tea.
I found the glass minuet a little hard to use without spilling.
great for at the office or at home, love the large infuser, perfect size cup
A great looking cup, that though it looks fragile seems unbreakable with normal handling.
Seems fragile because its so light and thin, but it's an excellent glass for tea drinking. I haven't used the infuser yet as I've purchased this for use with the IngenuiTEA. One full IngenuiTEA pot fills this glass fully with nothing left over. It's a perfect compliment. It adds a little elegance to my day at work.
beautiful cup, and it's stronger than it looks. the glass seems to help keep my tea warm, even if it is really fine, thin glass. i'm looking forward to buying a complete set of these to use when guests come.
Use it every other day. Makes a great gift!Highly recommend for office and home!
I love seeing the beautiful color of the tea through the glass. The handle is a little small, not very comfortable to hold. But it is very easy to make a quick cup of tea with this one.
I like this glass, since you can see the tea leaves stretch out gradually, and it adds a lot of fun to tea drinking. The only drawback is that the glass is really thin, sometimes it's too hot to touch.
Pretty to look at, though not recommended for daily use. Broke the original and replacement infusors within weeks of receipt, even with careful hand-washing. Try the personaliTEA instead.
Calling all cheapskates and down-to-earth tea people! I prefer substance over style. I ordered this without thinking of aesthetics. I just wanted a cup with an infuser. But less than two weeks after I received it, I dropped the infuser and broke it. I ordered another infuser and bought a downright ugly infuser cup off a store shelf. The ugly one stays at work. At home I use the minuet and have fallen in love with its beauty. Yes, it's fragile. The glass is very thin. But it allows viewing of the brewing process without distortion. It works great, and is such a pleasure to use. I highly recommend it. It's a small price to pay to pamper yourself and add a new dimension to your tea experience.
My Dad LOVES his present...the Minuet is perfect for taking to the office and making one cup of tea.
This is a very beautiful and elegant teapot. However, with certain teas you do end up with tea leaves at the bottom of the cup.
I love this cup! I am ordering one for our Pastor right now!
The minuet is great but smaller teas (rooibos for example) slip through the slits, which can be frustrating. The glass is tempered and despite banging it against things, it has not broken yet.
Hope she likes it, bought it for a friend! I hear that the glass infuses aren't as good as the metal ones, though.
