These are simply the most elegant way to store your teas and blends. I love clearly seeing my teas in the cupboard. They appear to be quite durable and and are easy to clean. The only downsides I can think of are the large footprint (when compared with Adagio's tins and bags) and the fact that they're made in China. That being said, I'm buying four more today.
Bought this for a girlfriend of mine for Christmas and she loves it. I liked it myself so I bought another one to put the remainder of my candy cane tea in (along with a few of my own cane chips for decoration) I recommend it only if you buy large amounts of tea, its pretty large.
These glass jars are quite spiffy, truly. I got mine in the mail yesterday after waiting (not very patiently) for my shipment to arrive. They make a very handsome display for your tea and the lids are formed with a nice indention on the top so they are stackable as well if needed. I love being able to see my favorite tea leaves as I contemplate that next cup of soothing goodness and the way the lids shove out extra air to seal themselves make one feel as if the tea inside is in good hands!

This is the best tea container that I have found. The UV fiter protects the tea and it has an air tight seal. I also enjoy viewing the beauty of the tea through the glass.
They look nice. However, they do leak air. I can smell the product inside if I put my nose up near the seal. It helps to 'press outwards' on the seal, but that doesn't fix the issue completely. I will use them, but if I was expecting the products to be in there for months, then this may not be the answer.
These jars are beautiful. The size is nice, but I wish there was a convenient place or way to label the teas.

I purchased these because of Adagio's change in packaging ... they are just lovely, and a perfect alternative to the former tin cans and the tea looks so pretty in glass!
Absolutely wonderful! I have been looking at glass jars for my tea for several months and decided to try these. Big enough to handle 8 oz from most teas and yet small enough that you don't have a lot of air cushioned between your tea and the seal. The slight indent at the top allowing them to stack without fear of sliding is a great bonus.
These jars are fabulous. They are visually appealing and keep your tea fresh. I wish they came with labels to apply to the top of the lid to distinguish what is inside of them.

It was harder than I would have thought to find a decent storage jar for tea so I was glad to see Adagio offering a jar. The best review I can give is to say that I purchased one to try out and came back to purchase several more with my next order. Lid seals nicely and the simple look is perfect.
A great way to display your tea. Expensive, but worth it. I find the size to be just right for most varieties. You might have to keep a little bit of your lighter weight voluminous teas in a temporary storage bag until there is room in the jar. Recommended.

These jars are really nice, they look great and the fact that you can store and admire your teas in clear jars and not worry about UV rays negatively affecting the tea/ herbs is perfect. However, I would love it if Adagio could offer a larger size that could hold the large 16oz. pouches of tea, that would push this whole jar concept up to 'great'.
I reorganized my entire tea cabinet from a mass of bags to a display of these beautiful jars. Being able to see the tea inside makes selecting what you want to drink an even more enjoyable experience!

The glass jar is great because they seal tightly and its easy to see if its time to reorder.
Although I do have three glass jars I feel they are over priced. I would have like them to hold at least 16ozs of tea, but they don't, they hold about 5ozs of black tea. The glass is very thin, also they say they protect against UV rays, however their is nothing on the glass jar that states that, the only print on the jar is the words Adagio tea and their logo.
Can not wait to order more of these. The seal on the lid is awesome. It is great to be able to showcase my tea on my counter.
I'm slowly changing out my most-used teas to being stored in the glass jars. They're attractive on the counter and hold more of my favorites.
These jars are very elegant and it's reassuring to know they are UV protected. You may be able to find slightly cheaper glass food storage jars out there, but they won't protect your tea. Worth the investment in my book.
The jar is expensive, but is high quality. A great way to display your tea collection.
Just perfect for 2 oz of Silver Needle tea (or 4 oz of any other tea) - great presentation of the tea as well - love it!
Nice size jar for displaying tea. I only have one at this time but would love to have an entire shelf full of them with my many teas on display. May just put this one on my gift list...

I want a whole bunch of these stacked up on my shelves making my tea look pretty all lined up. They have a vacuum seal and protect the tea from UV rays, too. Thumbs up!
I love these glass jars. It's nice to be able to see the tea -- and to know that it's still UV protected. The only small problem I have with them is that they're 14 oz, while most Adagio packaging is now 4 oz or 16 oz -- a significant gap.
The jar is very beautiful and works perfect to save tea.
This glass jar is quite nice and looks good on the counter proudly displaying the content within. The lid does seem to be air tight but it's also quite loose. There is no extremely snug fit. If you tend to be clumsy as I am, you may worry the lid will come off if tipped or knocked over. (I am)
A 5oz bag of Jasmine #5 filled it more than 1/2 way so, it may act a bit smaller than it sounds in the description. I plan to purchase a few more from time to time to have 3 or 5 of my favorites on display.
I've now purchased 4 of these jars. They are great for storing tea now just for aesthetics but for long term storage. The UV protection blocks out the sun so the tea won't degrade, and the steel lid will keep it air tight. If I was to venture one complaint I would of hoped Adagio would of made the seal much tighter as one of my jars it's kind of loose on the sealing part. There is a thin piece of rubber for this function, and if it was made thicker that would be great.

These are really great jars. They're simple and beautiful, and the Adagio branding is much more subtle than the tins. As others have mentioned, the whoosh of expelled air while closing is very reassuring. Highly recommended.

These are very attractive glass jars. Just be warned: 14oz is the volume of the jar, not the approx. weight of the tea they can hold. They hold about 6 oz of black tea and only about 2 of white. Take this into consideration.
I love this jar. The lid makes a swooshy sound so you know it's air tight. I'd like it better if it was bigger.
Did not think about the size when ordering, claims 14oz in the description. That 14oz is probably for Black or roobios teas as they are compact. I had a hard time getting 4oz of the white Snowbud tea in it with out crushing much, but definately won't hold the 6oz I order ata a time. Jar looks nice, but is kinda small, they should get more sizes.
