The glass jar is very simple and elegant looking. It's a bit more fancy than the tins (although you get 3 tins for the same price as a single glass jar.) Right now I'm using it to store my amber sugar crystals, but I can imagine the prettier teas with colorful bits in them looking great in the jar. Mine arrived totally unblemished, and the seal works fine and makes a satisfying air-lock noise when pushed down, however I wonder how air-tight it actually is since it doesn't seem like it takes all that much effort to remove the cap. As for the size, it's advertised as 14oz and many people have mentioned only being able to fit 6oz of tea, however I filled it with a 10oz bag of amber sugar crystals and it looks about halfway full. This jar is the perfect size for my needs, and while the glass may be thin I don't foresee any issues unless I happen to drop it on the floor while using it. I wish I had enough tea (or the storage budget) to justify switching from the tins to all glasses, but for now using the tins for smaller amounts of tea and the glass jar for the larger amount of sugar crystals works well.

I really like my jar. Did not give a great because the glass is fragile and I keep it in a cupboard for protection, since I have granite counter tops...

Perfect size and seal, they make the tea look awesome. I'll get more eventually.

This jar is okay, but I don't think I'll be buying more unless they are on sale.

these are too beautiful, they display my teas and blends perfectly and are a great size. its extra convenient that they're protected from sun damage, I haven't found any other clear tea canisters that are.

It's a glass jar. It's simple, elegant, and everything that it needs to be.

These jars are perfect for those who love to display their tea collection proudly! I now own quite a few of these, and they look great on my shelf, Every time I buy a new tea I can't help but pick up a new jar for it. Simple, clean, and elegant, would look great in any kitchen!

Like other reviewers, I somehow expected this jar to be a bit larger. But the jars are beautiful, and look great in the kitchen. I'll buy more in the future.

I bought one of these to try it out and see if I'd like it - instantly fell in love. It's sturdy, I love that I can see the tea. The one I own is holding my current favorite blend (Watson by Cara McGee). Definitely going to order a couple more for my other favorites.

This jar DOES have a great air tight fitting lid. I think I expected it to be a little bigger. I can fit 6 oz. of irish breakfast into this jar.

The jars have a good seal on them and look sleek. I prefer the glass jars from the colored tins.

These are awesome. Great for storing and showing off tea. Make sure you don't fill it all the way to the top or the tea will fall out when you scoop some out. I made the mistake because I bought too much tea.

Anyways, I have some for home, and I bought some to show off in my office.

Ordered 2 of these, and when one arrived with a bad seal Adagio Cust. Serv. promptly shipped another container. Using one for Sugar in the Raw at the moment, hope to have enough tea eventually to fill the other. Using the bad seal jar to hold other teabags.

The glass is nice and the stainless lids are pretty, but the seal is just okay

It's so pretty, and I love being able to see my tea!

good size, need a few more to display all the different kinds i regularly get. wish they had larger sizes as i buy tea by the pound but whatever doesn't fit can stay in the cupboard. It's a lot easier to get tea out of these jars then the bags.

Excellent glass for storing tea. Sometimes I open my cupboard just to look at the tea I have stashed in there. I ordered two. With one I actually hear the jar seal shut and the other I do not. Regardless, it is a beautiful product. Wish it wasn't made in China.

It looks so cute! Also fits all my tea. When I took off the lid for the first time, the black seal tore a little and remained on the glass which was pretty hard to get off though.

great way to store and show off your loose leaf! Keeps my tea fresh, and seeing it displayed so nicely just encourages me and any guests to drink more tea!

Beautifully displays your tea, but kind of plain. But then again, for $9 it's about what you'd expect.

I read the other reviews before purchasing, hoping I wouldn't have a defective one, and out of the ones I bought I did. The black adhesive stuck to the glass (a part of the adhesive tore off even!) and it wouldn't close all the way. I'm getting that one exchanged now, but the functioning one I do have is nice - very pretty and it's nice to be able to see my tea.

This glass jar is great. In fact even though its 3 times as expensive as the smaller metal jars I plan on getting these exclusively now. Though thin of glass they are not at all flimsy and I have less fear of breaking one of these than of the glass mugs made with the same glass. They also hold more than the metal containers so even when you aren't fully empty, i'd say roughly 1/8 to 1/4 of the jar left, you can easily fit a 3 oz bag of black tea in them. Unlike the metal ones that even fully empty its a tight fit for 3 oz of tea. The ONLY complaint i have about these, other than my being cheap and wishing they didn't cost so much, is I wish they had a little dry erase marker slot or even replaceable labels you could use to label what tea is inside. But that is so minor it takes nothing away from these beautiful jars.

I ordered three of these jars. 2 of the three the inner rubber was fused to the glass and tore no matter how delicate i was. Adagio shipped two new ones and one of these two has the same problem. They are quick to replace but it seems to be a problem.

These jars are fantastic. I emptied 2 3 0z. envelopes into the jar of Berry Blast and it is so pretty. Berry Blast being my favorite.

Looks good. An option for a bigger glass jar might be nice as well.

The jars are attractive, it is nice to see the tea without damaging it. They are also stackable which is a space saver.

I was pretty excited when I got my jar. I took it out of the box and noted that it was about to become an excellent storage area for the Citron Green that I just purchased. Unfortunately when I took the lid off, the inside rubber stuck to the lid and peeled from the jar, so it no longer seals. I'll use it for other things that don't require an air tight seal, but believe I will just stick with the storage tins in the future.

Looks great, but it doesn't keep out air very efficiently. Put Adagio's white peach tea in it and the smell escapes the lid. Wouldn't purchase again.

Excellent storage. Availability / hi demand for this item speaks for itself.

Good seal on the jar. I've had one of my favorite flavored teas in this jar for about a month and some change, and it tastes the way it did when I put the tea in. Despite the good seal, the lid is easy to pull off and put on.

I love this cannister. Being clear glass, you can easily see how much tea you have left at any time. It looks clean and pretty on the counter and keeps the tea nice and fresh. I wish there was a larger size as I drink a lot of tea.

This is a great way to store your teas and keep them fresh. Because they are glass, it's easy to clean them, unlike some polycarbonate containers I've used. I would like them even more if there was a second larger size.

i am back to buy more. i love how the tea looks in the clear glass. i love the size. wish they had labels for them. they look awesome on my shelf. i love the way the lids close tight and fit just right. easy to open also.

What a lovely way to display tea! Light but sturdy- I gave two as gifts.

Very nice and simple. the only thing I do not like is the branding. If the container was unmarred with adagio logo, I would give this a great.
To mitigate, I ptouch over the branding.

Displays beautifully, it is hard to find glass jars that display the tea as well as protect the leaves. This does both.

These are wonderful. I love being able to see the tea in the jars. I'm trying to figure out a way to mark them 'temporarily' so as to what's in each jar.

Don't buy this jar. It is very thin glass and will break easily.

These are fantastic, I received several as a gift to store my burgeoning collection of loose leaf teas. I fell head over heels in love! They are sleek, stylish, and fantastic for storage. There is no need to hide these in a cabinet, they are beautiful on your counter and close tightly thanks to the lid.

I wish these were a little larger, and sometimes it feels as if it doesn't seal very well, but I really love the way they look and have them prominently displayed.
