My earl grey bravo looks so pretty in the jar! Also much easier to open and scoop than the bag or a traditional kitchen canister with a clasp lid.
stylish, feels durable, i wish the seal would be tighter but it seems airtight.
Nicely sized glass jar. I like that the top seals, but is not so tight that it's impossible to get off. Plus, the tea looks pretty inside!
3/5. The glass jar is well made and sturdy, the lid though, leaves a lot to be desired. In the pictures the lid looks like a tight fit, however, on the two that I ordered, the lids were loosely fitting and not perfectly air tight. This wouldn't be a problem except that I live in a High Humidity Tropical area. I will continue using my old tea tins until I find something a little more air tight simply due to my atmospheric conditions.
Not that great. With a better lid design or a larger rubber seal these would be fine. As is, gravity is the only thing (barely)holding the lid on. Stick with the metal tins.
It's a glass jar. Of course, the important part is that it keeps air out, but the nice thing about it is that it lets you actually see the tea!
What makes this glass jar so great is that it not only holds a fair amount of tea, it is also a light barrier to protect the stored tea. Very happy with all my storage container purchases from this company.
Really like this jar just wish it wasn't so pricey.
Darn. Thought I would love but I find I do not - the glass is too thin and the rubber gasket not tight enough. Would have liked heavier glass (at least on the bottom) for stability and less accidental nudging around on the shelf, since tea itself isn't very heavy.
A couple of things that didn't affect my rating but didn't inspire love, either: One of them came with a noticeable scratch on the lid - probably a fluke. And the diameter feels just a bit wide and awkward in my small hands.
Accessible, easy to open, yet not likely to cause a spill, this is a fairly good container for tea.
I somehow got two different size jars? I ordered three and one of the jars is honestly a 1/4in shorter than the other two. That jar's lid also seems to fit poorly and doesn't give the nice 'whoosh' sound when opening/closing.
Overall this is a very nice way to store and present your tea but there are more cost effective solutions available. I am only drinking three teas on a regular basis now, but if I include a fourth I would only buy another one of these to match my set. Not because they are excellent...
Perfect size and easy to open while still being firm enough to keep tea fresh! We use them for our favorite blends that we use often so we don't have to go digging through all the bags. (I'm sure other Adagio fans know this hassle...)
This beautiful glass jar has about the same footprint as the tins, but is much more attractive. I tape a small label to the bottom, so I know which tea is inside, and can change it when I refill with the next tea.
I have four of these so far and they are a beautiful way to store your favorite teas and blends! However, I did get one where the rubber seal wasn't as strong as the others, but this is a minor problem. They still all give that satisfying suction sound when you close them. I have every intention of buying a few more!

I have all the other types of jars from adagio and wanted something slightly larger than the small hinge top jars to keep a more voluptuous tea. This works great and I love to be able to show the leaves :)

Tea looks wonderful in these glass containers, but they don't have a very nice seal to them. If you're storing tea in these use the tea in the container quickly.
Bought a ton of these so I could see my tea in the containers (tea is just so gorgeous looking)! Just a tip for anyone wanting to label what blends are in the jars: peel off the sticker from the zip lock bag blends and put it on the jars. Not only does the art look amazing on it, but it doesn't smudge or dirty up the glass either. :)
I can't find anything like them anywhere else.

The glass jar is a very attractive way to display and store my tea - I bought one and loved it so much that my husband got me another one.
I like this - it holds a lot of product and is large enough to fit a scoop in there if you happen to have one. I wish the cap had a bit of a handle to make it easier to grip and open. This could also use some sort of labelling. whether on the cap or on the jar itself.

A very handsome way to display some of your favorite teas. Just keep in mind it doesn't hold *that* much more than the small tins from Adagio, the picture can be a bit deceiving as to the scale of this glass jar
Best loose leaf tea jars you can buy at this price. They are stylish and show off the tea inside.
A little smaller than I thought it would be from the picture, but it ended up being the perfect size!

The only thing I was upset about was the black seal. It would stick to the glass jar and on original opening it left a mark.
I bought two jars recently, they are light weight and hold a good amount of tea. I filled one with Earl Gray Bravo to the top. Then I put the blood orange herbal tea in the other. The sample packet barely reached the logo at the bottom of the jar.
I love the look of these jars but I live in Florida and the lids arrived stuck to the glass. The replacements were similar. I guess that the seal does not stand up to warmer shipping temperatures

Man! Now I'm in LOVE with this jar and I'm going to HAVE to order more! Love the sound of the airtight seal doing its thing, and the fact that you can see your teas w/o any damage from UV rays. This is a must have!
I bought this for my Earl Grey Bravo that I bought a huge bag of. Looks very nice on my counter with all my teas stuff. Does it's job well and looks pretty doing it.

I'm updating my review for these as I tried to actually use them to store my Yunnan Jig and after 20 minutes of fighting with the stupid lid, I gave up and put the tea in a tin! I never noticed when I took these out of the box, but the lids don't fit and I can't get the lids to seal on the jar! Not impressed, especially with the cost of each of these!

I've been looking for a great container to keep my tea collection and this is it! I love it the way it seals, you can hear vacuum as you close the lid. It looks fantastic and while it's glass, it's very sturdy. My only complaint is that maybe it could have come with some kind of a label system to identify the teas stored in it.
