Update: Be careful when using this mug! Unfortunately it's more fragile than your standard mug-- I bumped it against my sink faucet while rinsing it off, and the mug cracked! I'm going to search for a sturdier clear mug. Pros: this mug displays tea beautifully and looks/works well with the IngenuiTEA dispenser. It's fun to watch the tea dispense into the mug. Cons: I don't like holding this mug by the handle-- it's too small and also feels like there's some glue where the handle attaches to the body. It seems like it could be easy to scratch the glass-- I noticed a scratch or two shortly after receiving my mug. Not sure if this happened during shipping or after my first use.

Fabulous in case you are like me and have obscenely awkward cups that dont work well with the pitcher.

This simple, lightweight mug keeps my tea warm while avoiding becoming too hot to touch. How lovely :P

Good size, shows off the tea's color. Glass is a little thin but seems up to the task.

It's quite nice. I like how it helps me judge colour better when I put in my milk.

What a beautiful mug! I ordered this to accompany my IngenuiTEA and it's simply a great little mug! I've heard many complain that the glass is too thin but it seems sturdy enough for me if handled with care.

It is a little on the small side, no false advertising or anything. It is as described. Tea always tastes better out of a glass, but it's a nice glass and it fits perfectly underneath my ingenutiTEA maker.

This is a great mug. I like good clear glass. It's lightweight, but i can feel it's strength. good companion for the ingenuiTEA infuser.

I have to say I adore this mug. I was rather worried that as it's glass the whole thing would absorb the heat of the tea and I would end up burning myself on it. To my surprise and delight the handle is perfectly cool, although the mug itself did get rather warm. Still an A product.

I really like this cup. I love watching the tea steep. I drink sometimes up to 5 different kinds of tea in a day, and each of them has its own distinct color the is enhanced by the glass. It is the perfect amount of tea. My only issue with this cup is the handle. In the positive column, the curve of the cross section of the grip feels nice in the fingers with the flater part on the inside and a more rounded part on the outside.

On the negative side, the curve of the overall handle grip creates a perfect half moon. While this is very aethetically pleasing, ergonomically the smoothness of the curve creates problems for me. As the cup fills with hot water, the weight pulls the cup down and unless I use a death grip, the cup pivots downward, slipping through my fingers and resting the hot cup my bottom (ring) finger. A change in the curve, A grip at the thumb, or a grip at the bottom would save my knuckles the scorching.

It is a beautiful cup, but I would love if my teacup not only looked like a pair of Jimmy Choos, but felt like a pair of Crocs. :-)

Perfect, especially for use with the ingenuiTEA pot. I may need to get another!

I love this (large) glass mug! It feels sleek in the hand and fits perfectly with my IngenuiTea! Definitely a staple in my tea collection.

I like how I can fully appreciate the color of my tea with this mug, but it just looks a little frail.

I was really scared of breaking it because of my tea being too hot, but it seems to hold up quite well against the heat! It just... seems so fragile though... I'd like to get a sturdier mug. Not to mention the heat escapes from my morning cup so fast :<

Did I HAVE to buy this mug? No. Do I regret buying it? Not at all. It goes perfectly with the IngenuiTEA, and it makes drinking tea strangely more fun.

Decent quality, but it is very thin as other reviewers have said. I personally don't have a problem with that, and although it claims to be dishwasher-safe, I would probably stick to hand-washing this one just in case. I love being able to see the color of the tea in a clear cup, though! Probably not the best to brew tea in since it gets quite hot, but if you have a teapot or IngenuiTea then it isn't an issue.

The mug isn't bad, but it is thin. I do like that it's clear though. I really love being able to look at my tea directly and seeing how it looks while I drink it.

These are thin-walled glass cups, light-weight, but they aren't going to hold the heat for as long as a thick ceramic mug, or even a typical ceramic tea cup.

If you're expecting uniformity, you'll be disappointed. I bought two of them and they're not the same. One is taller and not quite as large a diameter, than the other. Side by side, the difference is quite noticeable, these cups will not be a matching set.
I'm glad I only purchased 2 of them.

Perfect cup to go with the ingenuiTEA! Just a regular glass mug, but I love the amount of liquid it holds. Just lovely.

Keeps my tea hot for a surprisingly long time for a thin glass mug!

I think my mug may have come with a chip or two on the inner rim of the glass. I can avoid them, but it's a little disappointing. I do love to see the color of my tea though. It does seem very fragile but I haven't had any other problems then the initial dings.

Basic glass mug. Holds a good amount of liquid as well. Seems kind of thin and light, so it may possibly be fragile. Kind of pricey as well, although it is a pretty good glass mug. Tea looks awesome in it!

When I took it out of the box I thought ohhhh no this is too light weight and won't hold up...BUT I was sooo Wrong to is wonderful. I know that sounds strange for just a mug but it is perfect for Tea . I think it even keeps my tea hot longer...I used it every day.

the glass is thin and looks fragile, but it feels surdy in your hand. i'll need to be careful handling it, but i love seeing the color of my tea. i like the simplicity of the mug, no etching or logos.

Love this mug!!! It's big enough for my morning tea without being so big that the tea gets cold. It looks super thin, but is VERY sturdy.

It does seem a little thin on first look, and I suspect it wouldn't take much to liberate the handle from the rest of the mug, but I don't feel like I'm in danger of breaking it in the course of normal usage. Also, I totally feel like a mad scientist when I use it because it reminds me of the glass beakers. Four stars instead of five because $9 is a *little* steep for a simple glass mug.

I love this glass mug, but I too feel the way everyone else feels about the thin glass - very cautious. Sometimes I feel as if I may break it just picking it up. Also, the handle should be a bit bigger. Other than that, it is the perfect size for a tea lover since it makes about two cups of tea.

I love these mugs! I bought a second one when I lost the first one. They're so pretty, especially with a beautiful amber cup of black tea in them!

Good size. It works perfectly with a 16 oz. teapot. The only thing that keeps it from 'great' is that the handle could be just a little bigger.

The glass is very thin and I'm afraid I might break it, but it's also very light, and I get to see my tea. I only wish it had a bigger handle.

It's a simple glass mug that does its job, what else can be said. Glass is an excellent material for drinking hot beverages, and the mug holds a good amount of tea for its small size. The trade-off here is that the mug itself is paper thin, so take extra caution when handling it.

My only gripe with the mug is its handle, it seems it was only designed for people with small hands. Every time I used it I had to struggle between awkwardly holding it or risk scalding my fingers against the mug.

In addition, like many others have said, I also think the price is a bit high for such a simple mug.

Love this mug. 2 of these cups and im good to go in the am. Does not insolatate well

I really like the size and shape, along with the clear glass. I've used a lot of these mugs with the Ingenuitea for years. But, like others have said the mug is incredibly fragile. Just the slightest tap with a spoon can break it, for example. And the handle design needs work, as mentioned by others. The quality has declined as well. There have been defects in the rim, and the last one I had (which broke after about 2 weeks) had two large bumps on the inside where the handle was poorly attached. I want to like this mug but I can't anymore, unless I decided to regard a $9 glass mug as a throwaway item.

This is the first time I have ever bought a glass tea mug. I read the reviews from this web site over and over trying to decide if I wanted to take a chance and purchase it. I decided to give it a try and when it arrived and I opened the box I absolutely loved it! It was the perfect size, lightweight, and beautiful. I simply enjoy looking at it even when there is no tea in it. Try it I am sure you will love it too!

Like a lot of other people said, I was surprised at how thin they were when I received them. However, I put them through the dishwasher and handle them frequently (as do a lot of guests), and they've held up just fine. Surprisingly good.

Sure, you can use the IngenuiTEA with a regular mug. But why do that when you can use this beautiful clear glass mug? And it holds the entire contents of a full IngenuiTEA!

This is a very beautiful mug. It's very lightweight for glass, but it's crystal clear and very clean. The first one I received had a chip in the rim, but after a quick email to Adagio, a replacement was in the mail. (Great service!!) This one came intact. It's so nice to be able to see the tea as it steeps... some greens are so pale that in a dark mug you can't tell. It has handled the dishwasher just fine, so I really think the first was just a manufacturing flaw more than anything.

Having sadly broken my old Adagio mug I had for years, I decided to replace it with two new ones. Unfortunately, the quality has dropped a lot in the intervening years.

No more Adagio logo, and the glass is noticeably thinner. Thin to the point that a hairline crack had begin forming where the handle joins the mug within a couple weeks of normal usage. Can't say I'll buy these again if (when?) they break.

A trifle thin, but cools the tea to sipping temperature quickly. I wouldn't trust it in my dishwasher, but it doesn't really need more than a rinsing after each cup.

This is a decent mug, I am using it in conjunction with a teavana version of the ingenuitea and it is about perfect volume, maybe a tiny bit less. The glass is a bit thinner than what I expected but it feels of quality construction. Bottom line is, I would guess there might be some cheaper priced mugs out there on the Internet but if you are inclined to order from adagio then this is an alright deal.

A lot more lightweight than I was expecting, which was /great/. I always love seeing my teas, especially since I'm addicted to the beauty of blooming teas, so this was perfect for me.

OK, it's only a mug, but not all mugs are created equal. It's nice looking. It's crystal clear and I'm one of these people that likes to see the color of the teas I'm drinking

I enjoy using this cup because I like the prospect of seeing the my tea (not just from above). However, it does seem to be very frail. I intend to be extra careful with it and I hope it lasts. If it lasts, I am contemplating purchasing the set of six (7 oz. cups) for when guests care to have tea.
