Incredibly thin glass broke in less than a week. Why is it easier to get a quality glass bong than it is to get a quality glass teapot or mug?
Enjoy the radiance and clarity of fine tea in this stylish and elegant glass teacup. Dishwasher and microwave safe. 14 oz. (0.4L) 3.25" Diameter.

Incredibly thin glass broke in less than a week. Why is it easier to get a quality glass bong than it is to get a quality glass teapot or mug?
Very durable, I thought I was going to break it. I ended up breaking it a few months later by accidentally piling dishes upon it in the sink.
I love this mug!
I use it every day for my morning and nightly green tea. It is very light weight and easy to clean, I haven't tried putting it into the dishwasher yet.
Definitely a good buy!
Wish it was just 2oz more, than it would be perfect :)
It's a nice mug that holds a decent sized serving of tea.
I just got 2 of these, and am very pleased. I agree with many of the reviews that these are delicate, and could pose a problem for some. I am a small person so it's not too small and/or delicate for my hands, but I have to be careful with them. It would be nice to see one a little taller and thicker. I use this with my ingenuiTEA and it's perfect.
At first I was skeptic of the mug since many said it was thin. I purchased the mug with my rewards points and once I received it I loved it. It works perfect with the ingenuitea maker, just the right amount fits in both. The handle works well for me but I also have smaller hands. It might not be the greatest mug for people with large hands or fingers but for me I love it. Just treat it with care and it will do fine.
I had to order a replacement mug since my wife accidentally broke mine. It just slipped out of her hand while she was washing it. Which brings up the only problem with this mug. Its glass is super thin. Makes you think you'll break it just picking it up. Though it is strong and no glass mug would have survived the drop. Otherwise it is in my opinion the perfect size, and even weight because of it being so thin. Don't be afraid of this mug get one. just treat it with care like you should any glass item.
basically what the description says. the glass is rather thin, but not a problem if you take good care of it.
It feels a little fragile and it's probably not worth the price, but I like it.
No cracks or major defects in the workmanship. It does *work* as a mug. That said, however, the glass is incredibly thin. The thin cut bodes ill for hot beverages. The shape and (small) size of the handle makes it far too easy to come in contact with the hot glass. I'm also noticing that the lip has several pockmarks. These aren't rough - yet, but it's a sign of a cheap mold.
The mug's saving grace is that it works almost perfectly with the ingenuiTEA. Add a little extra thickness to the glass wall, redesign the handle, ensure the molds are filling out properly, and you'll have a perfect mug for Adagio tea!
The mug is decent, but isn't as hefty as I thought it would be, especially for the price.
The glass mug is one of my favorite products on Adagio. It holds more than it appears and while it obviously isn't designed for serious heat retention it is still my mug of choice for any hot (or cold!) tea time. In addition, I use my tea mugs for drinking anything else I desire and have plans to someday fill my cabinet with them. I even bought one for use at work and have had many compliments on it (especially when using it in tandem with the ingenuiTEA). I've never had the problem some people have mentioned with it being less than durable--although I have to hand wash all my dishes and try to be gentle with them all. It might seem a bit spendy but this is one mug you won't regret purchasing--it's worth the cost!
Great little mug for tea and coffee. Only problem is the thin glass which posses risk of breaking.
Simple, clean, light weight mug. Great addition to the ingenuiTEA!
My favorite mugs. These glass mugs are so much easier to clean than ceramic mugs.
I LOVE this mug! It is so light, yet is still very sturdy. Its pure unclouded glass lets me see the different colors and clarity of my teas to a degree that is unparalleled. It is the perfect size for a full mug from the ingenuiTEA, and makes an ideal companion. Well worth the purchase!!
What can I say -- an adorable glass mug! I like its clean and simple design, and so far it has held up well despite its delicate appearance (I'm pretty clumsy). It's easy to appreciate the beautiful colors of tea as you sip out of this mug.
I love my mugs! I got one for me and one for my husband.
I gifted this to a friend, and she loves it and thinks it is the perfect size for the tea gadget (ingenuitea) I got with it.
A nice mug. A little fragile feeling but seems sturdy. There should be a bigger version for those of us who like a bigger cup of tea.
This is my absolute favorite mug. It shows off the beautiful color of the tea and feels great in my hands!
It's not much more than a glass cup, however it holds a lot of tea and is pretty sturdy for being so thin and fragile-feeling.
I love this mug! It's my favorite tea mug, and holds all the tea dispensed from the IngenuiTEA that I purchased. Most mugs aren't large enough to hold it all. This also lasted longer than I thought from reading previous reviews, but did eventually break. (It was my fault though, I set it on the edge of my coffee table, DUMB!) Will definitely order again!
After breaking my first mug (with a year of constant use), it was nice to only order the mug and not another lid/steeper.
Great Mug! It is great to appreciate the color of the tea as you drink it! It is a bit too expensive, though :-/
This mug looks great, but it holds exactly 16oz. so it really can't be used for the full amount of liquid the ingenuiTEA holds. It also gets very hot, and when brewing hotter teas it is impossible to hold onto the mug until the tea cools down considerably.
Yes, I use this to enjoy the full color and taste of my freshly made teas.
Just started using this today with my Earl Grey I got in the mail. It's not as thick as I thought it was going to be, but I really like it. It's very elegant and I'll definitely enjoy sipping my tea with it.
I really really wanted to love this glass mug. I think I will stick to ceramic. The glass is very thin (about 0.1 in thick) so it turns lava hot right away. Normal size mugs, even filled, are light and sturdy enough so you can hold it without the glass wall touching your hand. This is not the case. It is delicate and heavy so when you hold the handle the mug tips and the glass touches your hand and it burns.
It definitely makes me feel sophisticated while I drink, but alas, it seems VERY fragile. It works perfectly with the ingenuiTEA, however.
I absolutely love it.
I love the simplicity of this mug. It holds a good amount of tea, has a clarity that really shows off the tea, and works perfect with my iced ingenuiTEA maker. My only complaint is i doesn't hold heat very well.
The 14 oz. glass mug has clean straight lines and a smooth rounded lip. The handle is large enough so that it can be grasped easily with three fingers and a thumb. It is light in weight and is made of borosilicate glass which makes it heat resistant and it's dishwasher safe! It fits perfectly under the ingenuiaTEA.
Despite all the reviews that said it feels flimsy, I went for it. I like it well enough. I was surprised by how thin the handle and cup are. But it certainly feels strong enough. I think the only concern I have from the thinness of the glass is the tea cooling off faster.
Just received the mug.
First, right off, the mug is very light weight. It feels like you're holding a sheet of paper. I wouldn't slam this mug down or anything. I'm going to continue gentleness, because this mug almost forces you to not mishandle it.
So far, I like it. I love seeing the colors of the teas that I haven't had a chance to before. Very nice, and not to mention I 'think' my tea tastes a little better with switching from porcelain tea cups. It could be in my head, but not sure right now. Great mug! :)
I love this glass mug, and so does my husband! It allows one to see the color of the tea, which makes the tea-drinking experience much more pleasant. Plus it allows the tea to cool off at just the right speed for our tea-drinking habits. The design is simple yet elegant, and it seems to be pretty sturdy. One of our mugs cracked after serving for almost a year, so I am now ordering a replacement. It fits the IngenuiTea perfectly!
I originally purchased this as a gift to give along with the ingenui teapot. I loved it so much that I bought one for myself and my husband. we love seeing the beautiful teas in our cup. This is the only way to drink great tea!
This mug might seem flimsy at first, but it is incredibly durable. It has a great 'hand-feel', and I am thinking that I might have to buy more!
Glass mugs are a must-have for every tea enthusiast.
if you buy an ingenuitea this is definitely worth it, fits perfectly, and is such a nice little glass for tea
This mug I've had for a long time without breaking it! It holds so much, much more than it looks.
It's a great, but pretty delicate mug. Be very gentle with it.
Perfect accompaniment to use with the ingenuiTEA teapot. Delicate, yet sturdy. Nicely balanced in the hand.
Looks: The glass mug looks great, mostly because of it's simplicity. I use this at work and it looks very fitting sitting next to my ingenuiTEA.
Useage: I read a lot of people saying they're afriad it's going to break on them because it's thin. For some reason I do not feel that way about this mug at all. It seems very sturdy. As for it being very hot and burning your fingers, that's true. Just use caution and handle the mug only by the handle and you'll be just fine.
Overall: I rate this a good for it's simplistic style and how well it goes with my ingenuiTEA.
I purchased these to go with the ingenuiTEA teapot. They are good mugs although they aren't very sturdy.
A simple design but a sure classic. This is a fine mug for the pure enjoyment of teas. The "wheel has been re-invented"
The mug is nice and lightweight. Almost feels like you're holding nothing at all. The teas look beautiful in the cup as well. I worry though that I'm going to break the mug, as it doesn't look very sturdy.
This mug is great. If you use an ingenuiTEA (regular size) this mug fits all of the tea brewed in it perfectly. The mug is made of a thinner glass, however I liked this fact because it allowed heat to escape the tea at a perfect rate making it drinkable sooner. (I dont like my tea to burn my mouth off)
I love this mug, and I love being able to see my beautiful tea within. This mug works well with the ingenuiTEA as it is a perfect fit and you can see how much tea is going in.
It seems very fragile and light but in a way that seems to add to the experience. One thing I have found out about it though was that it is very hard to get spotless. It is all glass so that can kind of be expected.
