I use it everyday when I go to work. One of the best mugs/glasses I have ever bought.

I really this item. Yes, the reviews are bad for some teas like yerba mate or some finer green tea, plus and tea dust. I bought some tea-bags for loose tea here at Adagio before and I just cut a few up into squares and put that on the jar before the cap to filter. Besides that, it works really well and is convenient.

It's smaller than I thought, and I REALLY don't like how the strap is attached to the strainer. Still, it makes it easier to brew on the go. I wish there was a way to screw the strainer onto the bottom of the tumblr so I could rebrew the leaves rather than tossing them.

Awesome for on the go people. Insulates very well and easy to clean. Only issue I have is the cloth band is not detachable when you wash it

I absolutely love this bottle! Its not really an on the go kind of thing but it does make it easier to make loose leaf tea while at work. The top is easy to clean out and I love how sleek the bottle looks. I don't really get why the handle strap is on the piece that actually holds the tea and needs to be washed out because once you stop steeping the tea and put the regular cap on, there isn't a carrying strap. idk but I still love this bottle and I ordered more loose tea just so I can enjoy using it more :)

the internal glass broke second time we used it. it still works but lost the insulation layer so it is hot to the touch. Great concept but it broke from hot water alone.

This thing is amazing. It's not perfect (it's hard to take the lid off without dripping some), but it's a great way to save time and make sure your tea isn't overbrewed. It also keeps the tea nice and hot for a lot longer than any travel mug I've ever had.

A lot of people have complained about these leaking, and I thought I'd share a common solution. There's two rubber rings - one in each lid of the ActiviTEA - which make the unit seal tightly. If either one isn't secured, or has come loose, the ActiviTEA can't seal and will leak all over. It's easy to check and to put these rings back in place, and this is par for the course with anything that seals tightly.

This is a wonderful travel container. I use it every day to make tea before school, and it keeps it the perfect temperature on my 15 minute walk there.

I bought this item to use at work (at my desk). I tried in two times and returned it (no problems with the return, I might add). It was simply inconvenient and did not steep the tea to my personal satisfaction. I was also worried about the glass breaking. I exchanged it for a 16 oz. ingenuiTEA infuser and couldn't be happier.

Two days using it and I already LOVE it!!! Wouldn't mind it was a big larger though! As I usually love having at least 2 large cups of tea!

This was my first loose leaf product and I loved it for the most part except that the holes let some of the particles through. I like it alot :)

Bought this for a family member they love it and it is nice to know that it is made of pyrex glass so will not break as easily as other glass types. Very pleased with this purchase.

This mug keeps my tea warm for a good while. The only downer is that I have to make sure I don't drip on myself when opening .)

Love it! Not the best for when I am driving, but once at school it works well and it also its pretty cool looking!

Love the container and it's size. Only downside is that the strainer has large holes and therefore does not work well with fine/very small loose leaf teas.

does not keep the tea very warm. I purchased it because it is glass. I prefer glass over plastic when possible. Use it once in a while. Can't shake my matcha before sipping. wish it had a sipping lid

After I found (like a lot of others) that this works best with larger leaf tea, this was a nice way to make tea at the office. Helps cut back on the consumption of the awful company supplied coffee I used to drink.

I was very excited to have a beautiful new tumbler, but after trying this product, I would not recommend it to anyone. It's impossible for me to get the screwable top on tightly enough - turning it upside down, or drinking from it, leaks tea everywhere. The holes in the infuser are too big, and large tea leaves float out. Unscrewing the lid to clean it after use causes the tea that has accumulated in the screw ridges to spill all over the sides and my hands. It's completely unusable. Luckily Adagio has great customer service, and I will be sending it back for a refund.

Bought this to replace a similar double-walled glass tea tumbler (non-Adagio brand) for my hubs. I wish this one was just a *little* bigger in size, but the hub's verdict is that it's a convenient, cupholder-fitting size, and it's very well-constructed and sturdy. He also gives the steeping insert a thumbs-up and says it works really nicely when he's on-the-go.

I was initially a little disappointed at the size of the glass. It's clearly stated on the product page, so that's my own fault. I love the convenience of the activiTEA. The filter holes are way, way too big so tea does float around. All in all, I'm pleased with this purchase although I think perhaps the price is a little steep for the size and with the flaws. They definitely need to come out with a mesh filter instead. I'd like to see another version of this product-- this one doesn't quite get there.

As others have mentioned, the holes in the mug are a bit too large for smaller leafed teas. My favorite by adagio is the green rooibos citron, and the smaller leaves do filter through. What I have done is to run the finished tea through the filter again into another cup which removes the majority of leftover leaves. Besides this, the mug is great for on the go, especially at work as it's easy and mess free. Overall I am pleased, I just wish it had a mesh filter as opposed to the stainless steel. Also, it is necessary to flip the cup upside down in order to get the best brew, ajd can be done with no mess.

Just Wish it had a spill proof top to with it!!!

It's a little small, but overall a great product!!

I love this. I take it with me to class all the time. The strainer is just the right size. The glass is sturdy and so far haven't had any problems. It also keeps the tea nice and warm for about an hour from when you pour it in.

I love this thing, it makes taking a cup of tea on the go super easy. Each morning on my way out the door I fill my activiTEA with hot water from my husband's keurig, put my favorite tea in the infuser and out the door I go! While sitting in traffic my tea has time to steep and I can then remove the infuser and enjoy my tea during the commute to work.
I do wish the holes in the infuser were smaller as I do get some floaters in my tea, and I often make a mess when taking it off the bottle (but now my car smells like tea!)

very handy to have in the office! It stays warm for a long period of time. The only downside is cleaning the bottom of it, but its still manageable

Purchased as a gift for my sister. She seems to be enjoying it, so I consider it a good gift. Would recommend using a different kind of filter/tea bag for finer teas, though. It seems that finer teas go right through the strainer.

It's great to have something that I can use to make tea with and carry it around in all in one package. It makes it much easier to have my much needed tea in college.

A little difficult to clean out but still a very nice glass. I don't use it daily because it takes a while to clean but I still use it frequently.

The activiTEA makes it so easy to take my favorite tea anywhere I go! It's super durable. I dropped it just yesterday and there wasn't even a scratch! Just don't forget to tighten the lid plenty when you're steeping!

I love this tea maker, I use it all the time because it makes making loose leaf tea, which I have much of, super easy.

should have read that this was a glass not plastic but so far it is true as written that is hasn't burned the hands when in use. the strap is great for holding while walking the dog in the cold. still keep in mind if you don't want to run the risk of the glass breaking.

Got this for my tea loving friend and she adored it.

I love my activitea! It's perfect for my morning tea, plus it makes me feel stylish (not that this is the most important aspect of a tea thermos). The holes in the strainer haven't been a problem for me at all yet. I do have one thing I'd like to know about it though--has anyone tried putting it in an industrial dishwasher? I have one at work, and I'd like to run it through, but so many of the reviews mentioned that it's easily breakable, and I am a little concerned. Anyone have any experience with this?

ETA: Well, as the other reveiws have stated, it is very easily breakable. Just earlier today, I set my bag down (the activitea was in it, in a water bottle sleeve so it would stay warm longer), and the bag slipped about three inches, hitting the ground with a gentle thud. I thought everything was fin but my bag started leaking tea, and I dicovered the bottom of the glass had completely shattered. I only had it for a few days, and I did enjoy the product while I had it. It's breakability means I am lowering my review a star (though I am not sure what I expected, despite adagios claims of durability, it is glass).

(The girlfriend) -- I had gifted this to my boyfriend as a Christmas gift- it was the only thing he asked for, so I went ahead and splurged. He opened it up on Christmas and absolutely loved it- his family was also thrilled with the gift and thought it was a great idea. However, he only got to enjoy it for a day, as he brought it along with him to an event and his friend accidentally knocked it over. It shattered. We're both very upset, as while the tumbler is made of glass, we expected that it would be durable considering it is advertised to be so. Neither of us expected it to entirely break the way it did. I am currently waiting on customer service to give me some sort of solution for the matter. Edit [12/30/14] Adagio agreed to mail out a replacement unit. The process was hassle-free, and very straightforward. The representative I spoke with was very friendly and understanding! Raising 1 star for excellent customer service.

I wish that the holes in the top were a bit smaller, but otherwise it's one of the best products I have ever gotten from Adagio, and that's saying a lot because all of their products that I have tried are amazing.

Best to go tea cup, tumbler, thermos, bottle out there. Wouldn't trade it for any other like it.

Definitely need to screw the lid on tightly before inverting to steep tea. I would recommend using with larger tea leaves. The teas I drink tend to seep through the filter and into the tea.

I liked this product it does a good job of keeping the tea hot for the time specified however, it does let a good deal of tea leaf into the water chamber still. I wish this had smaller holes in the leaf compartment to prevent this.

This is handy for those mornings your on the go and need to have some hot tea when you get to sit down. It seems slightly fragile but does the job well.

Elegent and easy to use. Easy to clean up at work. I only wish there was a finer filter so smaller teas don't go through into the tea. Genius design.

Used the product once, put boiling water in the glass, put tea in, placed the mug upside down on my desk, water leaked out, ruined my computer and my other work documents.

This by far is the best travel tea mug I have bought. I infuse the tea in the large compartment and use the metal mesh part as a strainer. Incredible how easy and time-saving this is.

I had bought this tumbler for one reason: to be able to take with me on the go. I was so excited to take my tumbler on me recently to vacation. I packed it carefully with knowing it was glass both on the way there and the way back home, but behold - it didn't even make it pass TSA on the way home. The bottle broke and shattered ever where during security. One of the TSA agents cut her self on it. I never felt so horrible in my life before since she got hurt on my bottle, which I had to end up throwing out. I really wish I could get my money back for this because it really upset me to leave this tumbler back in LaGuardia's airport garbage.

Edit: 11/1/14. Adagio shipped me out a replacement activitTea without expecting it. That's the only reason why I bumped it up to one more star. I still would not recommend this product to anyone. There's so many better travel tumbler's out there. Save your money, do not purchase from Adagio!

I really like the design of this product and especially like how convenient it is in that you can brew the tea within the unit. My only qualm, and perhaps it is only exclusively with my own, when i tip it upside down or right side up (to brew) i get some leakage around the seal.

Love this thing! it's easy to use if you follow the proper instructions, and the tea taste great! There is an issue with the strainer's holes being a little big, which other reviewers have already addressed, but I'm not that fussy about a few floaters. What is a big deal to me is keeping my tea container clean, and this tumblr is a breeze to wash and transport to and from wherever you're going.

Good for drinking tea on the go. Its also a neat design and is pleasant to look at. My only complaint is that it does not keep my tea warm for too long. In about an hour it becomes luke warm then any longer than that it just becomes cool.

The 'tea holder' for putting the tea in to brew, has holes that are far too big. I have to either brew my tea separately and put it in the container or use my own infuser.
