The son of a lower noble, his father imposed a strict regimen of sword training on him from an early age so that he might survive in the aristocracy. Sure enough, he proved his worth, and after many successes on the battlefield he was appointed to the Heavens' Ward. He also boasts a high popularity with the ladies of Ishgardian high society.
