This tea is not subtle. As soon as you open the package the powerful aroma of this tea will hit you with the force of a thousand bonfires. Okay, that might be an exaggeration. Make no mistake though, if you want a tea with a bold smoky flavor and more complexity than lapsang souchong alone then this is the tea for you.

I created a blend called Forest Campsite but used too much lapsang souchong. The result had potential but needed refinement. I made some changes to the original Forest Campsite to make it more like what I originally had in mind and then created this blend based on my 'mistake.'
