Saidin and its equivalent, Saidar, are each one half of the One Power. They work both together and against each other to provide the force that drives all creation. Saidin, the male half, is a raging torrent of power that must be seized and dominated in order to be controlled. Those who can channel Saidin are usually strongest in the elements of Earth and Fire. Despite its violent nature, there is an underlying sweetness that sharpens the senses and enhances the world around.
