Ancient trade route caravans once brought teas from China to Russia via camel. As the different teas were exposed to smoke from campfires each night, they took on a smoky, different taste that soon became a traditional favorite. Traditionally the mix is assam or keemun tea, oolong and lapsang. I have re-imagined it a bit here, but it still makes for a strong, slightly smoky morning wake-up tea. Enjoy an ancient favorite..with a bit of a modern twist. :)
