This is a signature blend created by Lilly T. for my friend, Starla, with whom we have shared many a meal and evening at each other's homes. While walking the Camino de Santiago, I experienced similar hospitality and community at the San Jaun Bautista pilgrim hostel in Granon, Spain. Housed in a 16th century church, we shared in the preparation of a communal meal and slept side-by-side on floor mats. It was one of the highlights of our experience. Whether you are inviting friends and family over, or need a hostess gift, this flavorful blend of orange chocolate tea is sure to please. Excellent with a drop of honey.
The watercolor for this blend is of the door to the Hospital de San Juan Bautista in Grañón, Spain. The church offers communal meals and sleeping mats on the floor of the church tower for pilgrims walking the El Camino de Santiago. I've never experienced a more welcoming spirit of hospitality.
