On the table in your hideout, you find a kettle and a box of tea leaves. Inside the kettle you find a note in familiar handwriting: "It looks as though things are going oolong rather well. But will this be YOUR cup of tea? Try it and see." And now, we're going to start a clock called "Tea's ready." (Inspired by storyteller Luke Westaway from Oxventure Presents: Blades in the Dark. Blend by Kara Dennison and Alek B., label art by Ginger Hoesly. Made by fans, for fans, with no official affiliation to Outside Xbox or Outside Xtra. Proceeds go to Mind.)
We change minds across England and Wales by making mental health an everyday priority. By standing up to the injustices – in healthcare, in work, in law – which make life harder for those of us with mental health problems.
Coming up with the GM's tea is always fun, because you're going more for a storytelling vibe than a single character personality. Alek noted that the tea should be versatile, like Luke's storytelling style, and we really hit the nail on the head with that. Possibly a little accidentally. Earl Grey Moonlight was our starting point. I suggested currant, solely because I like it a lot, and threw the raspberry leaves in to get some more berry flavor without it being too overbearing. What we ended up with is a tea that changes a lot depending on temperature. Served very hot, the Earl Grey is just about everything. When it cools off a little you get the currant/berry flavors about even with the bergamot, with the berry flavors being predominant when it's served iced.
