... who, incidentally, has NO business attempting to make his way into the food and drinks industry. He's already got half the city under his control with his bad engines and his stupid locks, why would need to expand into tea? That's a rhetorical question, obviously. It would, clearly, be to block out his #1 rival in every possible arena. But that's not enough for him, NO, he can't just invade other industries, he has to actively stamp on the competition. Why do you think no one's heard of Edvard Lumiere's tea? I'll tell you why. It's because Astor held a demonstration where he made fifty gallons of tea in a large kettle, then drowned half a dozen budgies in it. (Inspired by Edvard Lumiere from Oxventure Presents: Blades in the Dark. Blend by Kara Dennison and Alek B., label art by Ginger Hoesly. Made by fans, for fans, with no official affiliation to Outside Xbox or Outside Xtra. Proceeds to go Mind.)
We change minds across England and Wales by making mental health an everyday priority. By standing up to the injustices – in healthcare, in work, in law – which make life harder for those of us with mental health problems.
Initially when figuring out a tea for Edvard, I had really wanted to include peppermint (as a reference to that really fantastic scene with Lilith and her, er, hair). But we all came to the conclusion that peppermint is a bit hard to match with the other things we had in mind. Alek started us off with a blend of Irish Breakfast (figuring something strong and caffeinated suited Edvard's personality and work ethic) and spiced apple chai (for something approachable but unusual). I threw in caramel on top to complement the apple, and to serve as a middle ground to bring the two flavors together. The bright cornflowers are a reference to that fantastic jacket. You know the one.
