I stumbled across a lightly-armored Orc along the shores of the Bjoulsae River northeast of Evermore, who asked me to help him pick the berries along the banks to mix with his tea. He took great care to explain how to identify which berries and leaves were suitable. Though he was certainly short with his words, and his scowl never left his face, his tone was... kind? No, not kind, but neither was it harsh or uninviting.
He claimed the berries were best that time of year, and that he'd made the journey down the eastern side of the Wrothgarian Mountains to harvest every spring, just as his mother had taught him. I asked why he had chosen to make the journey by himself, for surely it was dangerous to traverse the mountains alone. He paused, then told me both of his daughters used to travel with him, but they had each died fighting in some conflict in The Reach. He grew silent after that, and shortly departed, though not before thanking me for my help.
