I am such a big fan of Thai iced tea, but so many of the 'thai' teas have fallen short of my ideal. This blend seeks to capture the robustness of true Thai teas with a spice mixture that seeks to capture the role that star anise would play if only they had star anise as an option here. I have left out any 'sweetness' or 'cream' because I feel these should be provided by the tons of sugar and condensed milk added when you make the iced tea.
