Rooibos Almond - I like rooibos because of the antioxidants, and because it's very refreshing and sweet. I am a big fan of almonds as well.
Dewy Cherry - I love all the herbs in this tea blend for the variety of health benefits they provide. Cherries also compliment almonds well.
Toasted Mate - I added mate because I wanted a breakfast tea to give me energy for the day ahead. I went with toasted mate because the nutty taste would blend well with the almond flavored rooibos, and be more mellow than the original mate.
Low caffeine | Steep at 195° for 5 mins

My inspiration for this blend started with my memories of middle school field trip lunches. I always looked forward to the brown-bagged PB & J sandwiches, and have made these sandwiches as my go-to breakfast choice along with fat-free greek yogurt. As I have grown, I have broadened my taste to my new favorite..almond butter and cherry preserves. This tea will go nicely with my breakfast. :-)
