Traditional Russian Caravan contains: a blend of oolong, keemun, and lapsang souchong teas.
Since Adagio restricts what teas you can use for a blend, I was forced to improvise. At the time of its creation I have not tried this blend. As such it is experimental and subject to change. I used mambo black tea, irish breakfast and lapsang souchong to create this blend, also safflower and red peppercorn have been added for accent and subtle taste. The previous blend smelled a bit too smoky but came very close to taste, and may become it's own blend. It was good but not what I was going for. If the taste is not as desired in this iteration, I may go full-on Ceylon Sonata but Assam Melody or at least a combination of the two seems to be the way to go.
