The Luggage is a large chest made of Sapient Pearwood. It is loyal and protective of its owner, and moves of its own volition on hundreds of little legs. Its lid opens to show "lots of big square teeth, white as sycamore, and a pulsating tongue, red as mahogany." But, when needed, the "owner will find his underwear, neatly pressed and smelling slightly of lavender."
This tea evokes the magic of the Luggage but none of the terror. Starting with Pu-erh Dante, the tea has a deep colour and woodsy aroma, old and dank, but not unpleasant. The addition of the White Pear lightens and sweetens the tea. The Chestnut adds a nutty wisdom, appropriate for the Luggage because, after all, it is a chest.
