Has a very strong sweet vanilla smell - almost like a vanilla syrup. Not too sweet of a taste like I was expecting once brewed though. Very enjoyable, a great evening tea.
This is my desert tea. Add copious amounts of sugar and cream and you have yourself a treat. Make sure to use a mesh filter or this tea will be slipping in your drink.
We drink this with milk and sugar for a bedtime or after-dinner tea. No caffeine means we don't have to worry about how late we drink it, and it's lighter than hot chocolate.
Mixed with honeybush hazelnut it's divine. Or, blend it with a black tea in the morning.

This is my favorite Adagio tea. I use 1.5 teaspoons to get extra flavor. The vanilla is really nice and slightly sweet. I also use 1 teaspoon of the amber sugar crystals. It makes a perfect cup everytime.

I would usually say that I love rooibos tea...but this tea is not one I love. Its very floral smelling and the flavor doesnt make me want to brew another cup.
This is fantastic hot or cold. The vanilla isn't overpowering, but enough to make the mouth water just opening the bag. It has a slight natural sweetness so that I enjoy drinking it iced with no sugar.
I've been a fan of rooibos for a long time and have tried many different varieties, but this is far and away the highest quality rooibos I've had.

The smell of this tea is pretty strongly vanilla, but the taste is fairly subtle. I'm glad it's not as overpowering as it smells, but I wish it had just a little bit more vanilla taste.

This tea is good. The only thing with this tea is that the rooibos taste isnt that strong. It's there, but not like the vanilla. I will probably increase the leaf next time I try this tea.

I am not a huge rooibos fan but this was good stuff. I recommend it. Although I occasionally have some in the evening I bought this for my kids who really love it. This definitely beats buying soda for them.
To me, this is a really nice, mild tea. The vanilla flavour is good and strong.
On its own I found the vanilla almost imperceptible, but when mixed with some peppermint the sweetness is much more noticeable.

Rooibos is not my cup of tea, but this is my go to rooibos when sharing a pot w/ a rooibos fan. This one is especially good as a cream tea or "tea latte".

This tea is mild and delicious. The vanilla makes it taste great alone or mixed with other flavors, especially the fruit flavors. It is especially good with honeybush orange.

I have just recently been delving into the world of loose leaf teas. Rooibos Vanilla was my indoctrination and I look forward to a cup of it every morning to kick off my day. I was looking for a coffee replacement, so I do mix it with milk and it is close enough in taste and texture for me.
What's not to love about vanilla? Add rooibos and you've got a great decaf tea.
On it's own I don't think this tea has a whole lot of flavor, but it's nice to add to other things. I really like to mix it about 50/50 with chamomile, it makes a really nice caffine free night time blend.

I had a good hunch when I ordered this stuff, and I was not let down. This makes a great tasting batch of rooibos, with a floaty vanilla that doesn't overwhelm or taste artificial. Highly recommended!
As with the honeybush hazelnut tea, the downside--what brings it from "great" to simply "good"--is that I have to use a little more than double the usual amount to get a good flavor in the cup. It just doesn't stand up well to my splash of soymilk & stevia, but it doesn't taste very good on its own, either. The rating here is really for the value rather than the taste. The taste is delicious once you calibrate correctly--I have it several times per week.
Nomnomnom! Seriously, I haven't yet had a roobios flavor from adagio that didn't taste awesome. Again, I'm recommending this for people who like sweet teas, and especially people who like to cream it up.
The rooibos vanilla is my favorite "mellow out" tea. I love having a cup of it to unwind after a long day. The vanilla in this one is not overpowering. I like adding a little honey and half and half.
I dislike the vanilla flavor from all the teas in general. This one is no exception.
I thought the vanilla might be stronger in this than it was, and the rooibos seems a little bitter by comparison. The rooibos stands out more than the vanilla does, but it is a decent after dinner dessert-type tea.

The rooibos flavor was just fine, but I could not taste the vanilla at all. This tea wasn't anything special; just another plain rooibos to me.
I was looking forward to a very rich rooibos experience but find the vanilla too overwhelming to really enjoy this tea. Given that I also have the Rooibos Vanilla Chai, when I drink this tea I'm left longing for the chai version instead. This is an extremely rich tea and it has good flavors but I do not think I will buy it again.
