I just can't seem to find a good way to drink this tea. It always has this sort of earthy clay taste I can't shake, but I can see why others might like it.
Smooth and bright with a great vanilla flavor, this is a great tea.
This tea is a little plain, not necessarily in a bad way. The smooth rooibos character is nice, as expected. It has just the right touch of vanilla. Not something I would regularly drink plain, but I absolutely LOVE using it in my blends.

I over steep most of my rooibos because I find it brings out the flavor. I enjoyed this a lot and would buy it again. I'd drink it alone and use for blending. I should add I'm generally not a fan of vanilla in anything
I was very kindly gifted this tea a few months ago and finally opened up the packet tonight. It makes me sad to say this... I'm just not a rooibos person. The vanilla flavor smells and tastes artificial to me, and sadly the two combined gave me a headache. I am glad I got to try it as it's been on my list of teas to try for awhile.
I'll admit, the first time I brewed this tea, I didn't like it. I followed the brewing instructions and left it to steep for 5 mins. I was left with a very weak tea. The second time I made it, I added an extra spoonful of tea and (after being distracted by something or other) let it steep a few mins longer. It was absolutely delicious!
I like it. I think it blends amazingly well with blood orange herbal tea! It's nice by itself but prefer it blended with fruit teas.
First tea I tried, remains my favorite. the bags are helpful for the rooibos family of teas.
This is adequate, but vanilla is not a great compliment to rooibos's earthy flavors.

This tea is pretty good. It's delightfully smooth and very fragrant. I wouldn't say it's my absolute favorite, but it is a very nice tea.

Mmmm ... it's good but not great. Green Rooibos Bonita is a hard act to follow.

I enjoyed this tea, but I think I prefer the vanilla oolong. This had a slightly earthy undertone to the taste and the vanilla was more subtle. The aftertaste was very nice though.
The vanilla really shines at the end of each sip no sweetener needed when hot. I tried it iced and it was a huge mistake to let my mother try it she drank the last of it so now I'm ordering a pound and hiding it in teavana tin so she won't know what it is...
The vanilla taste is just right, much more subtle than it smells in the bag. It pairs really well with rooibos! I take it with a little honey and it's really great. I haven't tried it iced, but that's definitely on my list to try!
I discovered after buying this that I'm not much of a fan of rooibos but tasted alright
I got this first in the iced tea pouch sampler, and liked it so much I got the sample size to try it warm. So far I actually slightly prefer it iced, but it was lovely hot as well. It's very smooth with a wonderful, soothing flavor. The vanilla is present without being overwhelming.
Bought this for a friend, (I prefer my rooibos PURE AND UNSULLIED) but it was pretty good for what it was! Just the right amount of vanilla and not too sweet.
This tea is wonderful!! Easily one of my Adagio favourites. Vanilla and rooibos go together beautifully. The smell is quite strong at first, which had me a bit worried (I took it to a friend's house and the entire car smelled like vanilla), but the vanilla taste of the tea is recognizable without being overpowering. I love having a cup of this in the evening or before bed.
UPDATE: I just realized that my husband and I have just about polished off a 16oz bag in under 4 months. Holy mackerel, that was a LOT of tea...
Good tea, sweet on it's own- no honey needed. Not great for infuser tea pots as its a very fine tea

Of the Rooibos blends. This is by far my favorite. It's very smooth...it tastes a little bit like a mild blend of tobacco.
I really love the smell and flavor of this tea. It actually smells like the Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille cologne my husband wears, but tastes wonderfully vanilla-y and herbal and not at all artificial or cloying. Maybe comparing it to a cologne fragrance isn't the best way to convince someone to try this tea, but this tea just makes me happy and warm. I will definitely be buying a much larger quantity than the sample I just purchased. This is a perfect daily herbal tea in my opinion.
Not too strong a mild flavor a bit heartier than most vanillas. I like to use it as an accent to other teas. Makes for a nice flavor enhancer.

I have a newfound love and appreciation of rooibos tea thanks to this blend! sweet, soothing and a little smoky, this is definitely on my list of 'comfort teas' . . . a nice cup to drink before going to bed, maybe with about a teaspoon of raw sugar and a little milk or half an half added. Love it!
I loooove this tea! the vanilla translates tot he cup very well. If sugar cookie had a liquid form, this tea would be rather close.
Let's see...It's Rooibos' classic flavor with an added flavor of vanilla. It tastes like Rooibos had a sleepover with vanilla..O_O They are very unique friends and they are careful not to cross each other's boundaries...as in, the vanilla does not overpower the Rooibos flavor and Rooibos does not overpower the vanilla flavor.
This one caught me off guard. The smell is amazing and the flavor is near perfect. Sweet enough to feel like you just had desert, but not fake or sugary tasting. Don't hesitate, this is a great tea.
I much preferred the oolong vanilla. I think that was a much better pairing and rooibos should stick with fruit additions, like peach.
rooibos and vanilla, its pretty hard to screw it up. and they don't
very nice. light pleasant scent of freshly baked cookies. tastes a bit like a sugar cookie when you sweeten the tea.
I was surprised to see that the colour of this tea ended up orange. Very smooth taste, definitely need the right infuser so you don't get loose leaves in your tea, needs more of a vanilla taste for me.
