Always been a 'red tea' fan, and to taste the good stuff is fantastic.

This looked like the 'red tea' served at Thai restaurants, and happily it IS! Interesting flavor, haunting, and lovely. 4.4/5.0

I'm hooked. It tastes just like a weak black tea...with no caffine.

The tea itself wouldn't be bad if you like this kind of tea but I know now that I am strictly a black tea fan, but I appreciate that you can purchase a sample for such a great price to try because then you don't feel as if you have wasted a lot of tea.

Out of curiosity I tried a sample but wasn't impressed. Didn't taste like much of anything.

Where is the taste? I tried and tried it again. Finally used all that was left to brew one small pot... I still can't find the taste.

This was the first time I tasted rooibos, so maybe it's supposed to taste like sawdust.

I wasn't really impressed with this roobios. It's just kind of bland. I've had much better roobios from the bulk section of my local Whole Foods, so I guess I will repurchase locally. I do however LOVE Adagio's mango roobios.

This is the best tea I have ever tasted. It's sweet and smooth, and I hardly have to add any honey to it. I drink this to clam down and relax, and it always does the trick. I also suffer from frequent stomach aches, and when I get one, I drink a cup and it soothes my stomach in no time.

Earthy flavor, beautiful color, smooth drink. Good starter rooibos.

Very good brew. Amongst the best rooibos I have had. It is excellent cold (not iced) after a run.

Malleable tea substitute, calming and enjoyable. Also fun to 'elaborate' with flavors.

a good tea but i would recommend getting one of the flavored rooibos teas. this one is kind of bland.

A beautiful looking, tasty, and mighy satisfying tea. Very orgasmic, I mean great! Plus, it works at getting rid of acne (if drinked daily)

I'm normally a black tea drinker, but this is a fantastic non caffeinated option. Slightly sweet and very drinkable. I'll definitely be getting more of this.

It takes some time to get used to rooibos tea,it looks like strong black tea,but it is herbal. I tried it with little honey, it really adds something special to rooibos flavor. Now I drink it every day and discover that I like it more and more.

What can I say? This is one of the ingredients in my favourite tea - the Foxtrot. So, I like it naturally. It also tastes quite good by itself. I sometimes mix it with a sprinkle of lavender for variety.

Tastes like black tea to me, but a good alternative to black before bed as it contains no caffeine. I like it plain or with a little half-and-half. I also like it iced with a little simple syrup.

A great tea alternative. Supposedly good for the skin, and with anti-oxydants and such, but the important part is that it tastes good too.

I am completely addicted to this tea. I drink it with lots of soy milk and sugar and it is wonderful iced or hot.

I really like this tea when i have a sore throat. its a good warm up during class when im not in a sleep deprived give me caffine state that i usually am.

Great tasting, smooth rooibos. I bought this for a friend who is a rooibos drinker and he really enjoyed it, too.

A smooth and light caffeine free tea. Has a little texture but alot of flavor. A tea you can enjoy anytime, even before bed. Very healthy and highly recommend this tea to anyone.

I first tried this tea in South Africa so it not only taste great but brings back memories as well. This teas is a great alternative to black or green tea. It has a very mello taste that is great to relax with!

I like this tea alot better with flavors added, like peach or orange, ect. Alone, unflavored, I find it haa a bit of medicinal after-taste.

I'm sure it's good for roobios, but I just don't have the taste for it. This was the first 'red' tea I've tried and didn't like it nearly enough to give up 'real' tea.

Different, takes taste buds that are open to change. Good one to try though if you have never had a red tea before.

The taste is difficult to describe in words, so my suggestion is to get a sample. I did, and found that I really like Rooibos teas, and it's a nice change of pace from Greens. Having never tried any other brands, I don't have much to compare it too, but I'll definetly be reordering this.

Great scent, naturally a bit sweet so I don't have to add as much sweetener, and worked very well as a base to my masala chai recipe. The size of the 'leaf' blends well and evenly with the spices I use. Will purchase again.

Great tea - very sweet, would def recommend if you are the type of person to put honey or sugar in your tea.

I love this mixed with fruit medley. One of my favorites!

I ordered this to make my own version of Foxtrot--I like a little more rooibos and peppermint and a little less chamomile. I love it alone as well. So unique!

A fine grade of rooibos I'm sure, but I'm just not digging this tea. The taste and smell remind me of new leather.

Excellent!! One of the best decaffeinated teas possible. Great color, strong flavor. This tea does have a bit of a diuretic effect though.

Not exactly what I was looking for in a red tea. When brewed seemed to be bitter and without much to distinguish in taste.

My goodness. I found a link to Adagio teas while floating around the web. I love Rooibos Tea, all because of a certain literary Lady Detective. I usually buy my Rooibos in tea bags at Trader Joes. No More! I love Adagio Rooibos tea, it is clean, vibrant and alive.

My original order was for the Herb Samples. I never even knew about rooibos. I tried it and love it. It is great knowing I am drinking a tea I enjoy without caffeine.

The rooibos are ok. I think that I prefer the black teas. I like the taste of tea and this is just different than I expected.

Good alternative to tea. No caffeine and a pleasant flavor on its own. Hard to describe but it is soothing.

I liked the rooibos samples; in fact ordered them twice. Received a different variety each time. Reasonable cost for good sampling. It helped me find my true love.

Too earthy for me, but my husband loves this (almost minerally to me, but her appreciates this). It is very hearty, the scent is very strong, and the color is rather intense.

When I first tried rooibos tea, I did not like it so much. But I started to drink it because I read some article saying that rooibos tea is good to drink during pregnancy. Now, I am addicted to this tea. I love it.

Love this tea!!! I can't explain it, but I crave it! There is a nutty sweetness to it that isn't heavy. I find it very relaxing, so I can't really drink it at work. Zzzzzzzzzz. Will definitely re-order this!

deep smokey flavor. althought the leaves are too small that they pass throught the filter(i use glass minuet) but this IS a real tea!

I do not care for this. I know a lot of people love it, but personally, it struck me as something that came out of a woodchipper.

I didn't like this tea at all. The taste and smell, while unique and maybe pleasant to some, did nothing for me. I'm not sure I can describe the flavor, but it does brew up to a nice reddish brown color. If you are inclined to take the plunge, start with the sampler to make sure you like it.

I think rooibos must be a 'love it or hate it' drink. To me, it tastes like straw. I certainly see why the flavored rooibos are more popular.
