One of my absolute favorites,...simple - and delicious hot or iced.
Rooibos, sometimes known as "Red Tea" (although not from the actual tea bush), is an herb that grows only in South Africa. Our rooibos is slightly fruity and smooth with a mild, herbal texture. Very forgiving - won't over-steep.

One of my absolute favorites,...simple - and delicious hot or iced.
I really think this is the best rooibos that I have had. This is also good cold.
Great as a drink to take right before going to bed.
Far and away my favorite offering from Adagio. Just about every night around eight o'clock I pour up a glass of water and then sprinkle some of this on top. Left out overnight, I only have to wake up, strain off and drink for the perfect start to my morning.
Excellent Rooibos! This tea does take a required taste. But i love all the health benefits and the flavor has grown on me and I have to have it everyday. Also very good iced!
I'm not a fan of the flavored rooibos, but this one is great. Nice earthy tones.
Basic rooibos. Does the job, smells great, good color; no reason to not like it.
This wasn't what I expected at all. I've been getting loose rooibos from a tea shop in my hometown for years, and it definitely tastes more like the honeybush sold here. This just tasted kind of muddy to me, though I might just be sensitive from drinking the other kind of rooibos for so long. I would try samples of both the rooibos and honeybush if you're used to rooibos from a different vendor, just in case.
Has a very earthy taste, good with other teas such as chamomile and peppermint. Also good on its own.
My husband loves this - it's hearty and has a nice mild flavor to it, we will keep this as a staple in our house - even our young children 5 and 3, love it!
This is my favorite tea. It also makes a great base if you want to mix flavors. Try it with milk for a nice end-of-the-day treat.
Classic rooibos. Doesn't have quite the 'tobacco' taste found in a lot of rooibos, which is either a good or bad thing. I love using this tea to mix with!
I was surprised by how much I liked this. The color may remind you of cough syrup but it tastes almost nothing like it. It has a very smooth flavor with absolutely no bitterness that instantly calms your nerves and clears you up inside. I've been brewing cups in the evening and before bed to help relax and it works great.
I received a sample tin from a friend. I'd always wanted to try Rooibos, but somehow never got around to it. Wow. Wish I'd tried it sooner. Such an amazing flavour. So calming too. I have it before going to bed. It's like being tucked in with your favourite blanket. No caffeine is a big plus also. Please give this a try, you'll wonder why you ever waited.
One of my favorites, i love this tea. perfect right before bed
This is my staple for blending with other teas for a unique taste. I usually blend this with rasberry herbals for iced tea. Lovely buy, would recommend!
This tea is great. It is light and refreshing. I have not tried it yet as an iced tea but it seems to me it would be great ot or cold.
This tea will make a nice evening tea for me. It definitely has a unique wood-like flavor, but it's enjoyable by itself or mixed with herbal flavors.
Great typical rooibos flavor - nothing special. I think I prefer my rooibos with a bit of vanilla and/or almond, but I thought I'd try it out by itself to get an idea of it's true taste...which is nice...but I think it's better with other flavors complementing it.
Interesting flavor, it's acquired for sure. Has a beautiful red tint, and is a soothing decaf tea.
This was a strange tea that you must try and get your own reviews of. It's an earthy smell with a simple black tea flavor. It's a strange one.
This tea is just ok on it's own. But I usually mix it with mint and chamomile and the smell really comes alive. It's great mixed with other flavors.
Have yet to brew a cup by itself, but good to add some nuttiness to teas. (I mix it with YerbaMate to take away some of the bitterness)
This is a straightforward Rooibos that is everything I expected from the African bush tea. Very theraputic!
probably the coolest decaf tea you'll ever find, i cant describe the flavor but i highly suggest you try it for yourself
Other than some iced black tea in the morning, Rooibos is almost always what I brew up when I feel like drinking something other than water. I've bought around 24oz of it so far in various varieties.
one of the freshest smelling and tasting rooiboses i have ever tasted. it's the little black dress of infusions - it goes with everything. i love it with milk & sugar in the mornings, honey in the afternoon, and mixed with chamomile at bedtime. mmmm.
a good night-time tea with no caffeiene. i reccommend it
Fantastic! I'm an instant rooibos convert. Although its not 'tea' it has the same warm, wonderful feeling in the mouth, with a richness and sweetness I've grown to crave. I drink this daily--its so healthy for you & no caffine!
My favorite, by far. Medium bodied. Great taste. Don't overbrew or use too much.
I didn't care for this one at all. First time trying rooibos though, so maybe it's an acquired taste.
The rooibos is very good with a slight sweetness and good overall flavor. It can take a little getting used to if you've never tried it, but I found it quickly became a staple in my tea supply.
Mild flavor. Good for blends. Tastes good on it's own too.
All of what I expected, and more. Plenty of rooibos to last me forever, and at a wonderful price too.
I really enjoy this tea in the evenings when I have had enough caffeine. The leaves are very small though (but not broken or anything) and some slip through my filter.
I guess I'm not a fan of rooibos, didn't do it for me. Tasted like coffee and tobacco to me, not tea or anything close to tea.
Mildly sweet with a flavor reminicent of sun-dried tomatoes. This herbal tisane also makes an excellent chai!
Good, not great. Rooibos is a lot better with vanilla or almond, in my opinion. This is the stuff to buy to mix with various tisanes though, see 'Foxtrot'
This is my first rooibos, so I can't compare it to others, but it's a fascinating drink compared to the teas I'm used to. It opens very softly, then blossoms into warmth and a slight tanginess with a hint of woodiness and light smoke as well as citrusy, floral, and straw notes. The mouthfeel is luscious without being sticky, and there is absolutely no astringency, an interesting change. On the whole, this is delicious.
I used to like this tea a lot more until my sister said it tastes like cough syrup...now I keep tasting cough syrup. It does have a nice unique flavor, and I like that it's naturally decaf so I can drink it after noon.
Not my favorite tea. I would order a small amount to try.
Not quite what I had expected, has a bit of a tabacco smell, but different flavor. I suggest everybody try it.
A unique drink with a rich taste. Very similar to black tea in many regards but without a hint of bitterness or astrigency.
This is a good Rooibos to start with before adding other flavors.
This isn't a tea so much as it is a bit of hay. I found it to be a nice switch for the afternoon (once in awhile) but I also like pu ehrs, so this may not be for everybody.
Very disappointing. I'm not sure why you would drink this if tea was available.
Great caffiene-free alternative to tea, excellent before bedtime. Sweet with a slight nutty taste.
Very nice tea alternative. I only wish the flavor were as strong as the aroma. Oh well, it's still a very nice drink.
I'm fond of this tea. It reminds me of the smell of pipe tobacco and I like including a little raw honey with this earthy tea. I don't drink it enough to keep a larger tin around, but it's nice to have a sample ready when I want it.
Best price for this tea I have found! Most dark tea leaf drinkers might like this tea for variety.
