This tea is very similar to Honeybusy, but the Rooibos tea is stronger in taste and smell. While Honeybush is more light and mild, Rooibos has a stronger herbal taste than that of Honeybush
Rooibos, sometimes known as "Red Tea" (although not from the actual tea bush), is an herb that grows only in South Africa. Our rooibos is slightly fruity and smooth with a mild, herbal texture. Very forgiving - won't over-steep.

Mild and mellow. Nice for sipping when you've had your quota of caffeine for the day.
Great taste. We brew it by the gallon for iced tea.
A delicious classic, this sweet and gently fruity tea satisfies any late night (or anytime!) sweet craving!
This Rooibos is a good standard. You can not go wrong with it.
We had tried some of this at a local store as a sample and then the store went out of business, but gave us this website. We are so addicted to the rooibos! It is so relaxing and opened our airways for free breathing during a recent bout with bronchitis. It is an amazing tea and you can make it strong or mild and still have the amazing flavor. We add a little honey and make it an evening treat. So delicious, we make it in our coffee maker by the pot full. If you could drink velvet, this would be what it tasted like!
I switched out my decaf green tea for this tea in the evenings, and really love the change. Great flavor, no caffeine, and lots of antioxidants! Plus the price is great too!
Love it. If you like Rooibos, you'll like this one. Mellow, easy to drink, not flashy but great for warming up in winter. Very forgiving if you steep longer than intended.
I usually drink black tea, so this one will take some getting used to. I do plan on trying other rooibos though.
This was my first experience with Roobios, I've had a lot of honeybush and wanted to try this. It's comparable, with a slightly less 'sweet' flavor. I want to try the almond flavor next.
Rooibos was totally new to me when I got this and I'm hooked. Its flavor was halfway between a black tea and an incredibly smooth bitterless coffee.
Just bad all around. And the small bits kept falling through the infuser of my teapot and to me it's disgusting. Just can't do this one again. Smells faintly like tobacco.
Not as good as honeybush, but still with a taste!!
ok but don't care for it all that much would not buy this one again
Very pleasant but subtle taste. Overbrew the heck out of it, it won't change the flavor and it makes the fruity sweetness more present.
I love this tea. I was able to use it in bag or pot volumes. Great every time. Do not oversteep or it gets bitter.
Rooibos makes a good cup tea. It is smooth a sweet without adding milk or sugar. I have to say that I like it better than the honeybush teas I bought. Honeybush does have a nice, faint, honey-like flavor, but I enjoyed the rooibos more because it had a smoother, cleaner flavor to it.
Rooibos is one of my favorite teas. Smooth with a bit of sweetness. This was my first purchase of Adagio Tea! I didn't know what I was missing.
Ever since I heard rooibos helps with allergies I've been drinking it almost daily. :) This is a great basic rooibos, and it seems to be an endless supply.
MMmm delicious! High quality roobios, very full of flavor. Goes great with some milk, or even half
Rooibos is my all time favorite. It is a great tea for anytime of day or night. Even my 6 year old loves it.
LOVE this taste! the little leaves are a little too small and scattered for my drainer, but the smell and taste of rooibos is delicious! my favorite 'tea' ever!
Rooibos has an odd, off taste on the after, and is fine enough to get past the screen in my Ingenuitea pot to some degree. Otherwise the flavor is nice, and its aroma is bold without being too heavy. You may have to grow to accept the off flavor, or I am brewing it wrong.
a delicious tea that is rich in color and has a surprisingly delicate aroma and flavor
I enjoyed this tea quite well. It's not what I would categorize as an everyday tea but it's something to have in stock for when you want something a little different
For me, the best way to drink this is to mix it with rooibos vanilla chai. It makes the tea stronger and get rid of the somewhat woodsy taste.
I like rooibos for something different, especially before bed.
This tea feels good. It gives me strength and a healthy glow. The red bristles give a nutty taste, hard to describe but exceeded my expectations.
this is my favorite tea. It's great brewed very strong with very hot water and then served with a splash of almond milk.
Not only does this tea taste great and contain tons of antioxidants, but I also like to use it topically as a toner on my face -- helps to keep my skin clean and soft!
I loved the taste that this tea had. It did seem kinda woody tasting at first, but this was the first one I had made so I am not sure if I had gotten the temperature of the water just right.
My first experience with straight rooibos and it was wonderful! Sweet flavour with a hint of black tea taste.
This tea has a nice organic/natural taste and tastes different from the other types of tea.
I use this tea at work, it has a very clean, fruity taste.
This is the first standard rooibos tea I have had. I must say i'm not exactly a fan. Granted it wasn't bad, but its just not my flavor.
Better than any of the sweeter combinations, rooibos stands best on its own.
This is great for when I can't have caffeine. Blended with some spearmint tea the flavor is wonderful.
This is a pretty decent Rooibos. Its not amazing, but it is good for the price and makes a great late night tea.
Very surprised, great flavor, great iced in the fridge, sweet enough on its own
this was a great surprize to me, as i'm not usuallya fan of herbal teas of any kind.
A wonderfull tea, has a complex flavour and scent. Its a strong tea, not too much overtones, and really straigthfoward.
An allround excellent, versatile tea. It is wonderful by itself and/or mixed with various other teas. We are always running out of this tea. Must order larger quantity.
It smell like smoky rich tobacco, not astringent at all. I am still undecided if this will become a staple drink for when I want a decaffeinated drink. Definitely is an acquired taste.
Warm and earthy. This is a fantastic herbal. I personally prefer the Rooibos Vanilla, though by the slimmest of margins.
On first taste I wasn't sure I liked rooibos, I've grown to love it. This is a great and aromatic rooibos. Great for drinking in the evening because it's got no caffeine.
Great for soothing a sore throat without needing to take in caffiene. Smells nice and woody, and tastes great.
It needs to be mixed with something. I like the flavored ones better.
Adagio's rooibos is one of the only ones that doesnt taste like Splenda to me. That's a good thing.
I was very, VERY shocked at how much I enjoy this tea. it smells awful, in my opinion, BUT, if you steep it correctly it is an amazing tea. it's like nothing I've ever tried before. the first time I made it, I steeped it for 4 minutes, and it came out tasting like dirt. when I steeped it for the recommended 7 minutes, it had a totally different taste. it is a great tea and definitely worth trying!
This "tea" has a great taste with no caffeine, a favorite.
I was trying to be adventurous and try new things, but this tea filled my whole house with an unwanted odor that reminded me of medicine and something else I couldn't quite place - but it was bitter. After adding milk and honey to it, it became barable (a lot was added - as if someone were to ask if I wanted some tea with my milk and honey)).
