This was the first I tried of this kind. Not what I was expecting but pretty good none the less.
Rooibos, sometimes known as "Red Tea" (although not from the actual tea bush), is an herb that grows only in South Africa. Our rooibos is slightly fruity and smooth with a mild, herbal texture. Very forgiving - won't over-steep.

It seems to me to have a vanilla taste, added a little Splenda and just perfect.
This is pure rooibos. Quite strong. Exactly what I was looking for.
At first I didn't like this. As I drank it at night as a caffeine substitute, I really enjoyed how rich the taste was, especially the aftertaste with some honey. Very satisfying! Update: the more I try the other varieties like vanilla, jasmine, and honeybush, this one stands out particularly for it's very CLEAN taste. Thirst quenching almost. After I try all the rooibos and honeybush, I will most likely buy a large size for regular drinking. I recommend at the very least trying the sampler.
Quality red tea, I prefer plain unflavored and this was very good.
This is 1 of my go-to herbal teas for when I want a break from caffeine. I love the easy no-fuss preparation and the beautiful and tasty result. Good with or without milk and/or honey. I'll definitely buy again.

I love this rooibos and have been blending it every day with my Earl Grey Bravo. However, I have found this to be very fine causing some particulate to escape from my tea ball. This could be a hardware issue on my end as I have not tried any other steeping equipment. Highly recommended!

I thought I would really like the roobios tea, but for some reason I just don't care for it and I can't figuer out why. Maybe I need to try it with some added flavor or something.

Rooibos is a new tea for me. The first one I tried was a caramel flavor so I was a little worried that this one would be plain and boring. I'm glad I was wrong. This tea has amazing flavor, herbal and sweet.
Love having a solid alternative to the caffeinated teas. Can't over-steep this. A staple!
This has become my afternoon and evening 'go to' tea. This is a smooth and naturally sweet tea. I sometime add honey to satisfy my sweet craving. I also like the benefits of this tea.
I love this tea. I forget that I'm actually drinking herbal tea and not sweet tea. Definitely buy more in the future!
Rooibos is an interesting alternative to traditional teas. The natural sweetness keeps this herbal from ever really getting bitter which makes it quite foolproof for anyone who couldn't be bothered with some of the more finicky teas out there. However, as its natural flavor isn't very strong, I much prefer rooibos as a base for flavors like vanilla or chocolate.
Overall, as far as pure rooibos goes, this one is just okay. Like I said, while this herbal would make a good base, I find it way to weak to drink on its own.
You can read other reviews on the quality of the rooibos itself, but this is a must buy if you're going to pick up any of the flavored rooibos. Some of the flavored varieties are pretty strong and need something to tone them down.
Having never tried rooibos before, I wonder if I prepared it wrong. To me, it has a faint medicinal aftertaste, reminiscent of Pepto Bismol, and the flavor as a whole doesn't thrill me. I don't think I'm cut out to be an herbal tea drinker.
Adagio were kind enough to include some with my last order. I've been a black tea drinker all my life, so this was an exceptional little surprise that I enjoyed a great deal. I now consider my comfort zone expanded and will try a variety of rooibos teas in the near future.
This tea was excellent: Slightly nutty, earthy, and perhaps a sweet hint of tobacco flavor. It is served well lightly sweetened and with milk.
So different from anything I've tried before, since it's not made of tea leaves, its very fine and easily goes through a mesh infuser. Must get a really fine mesh to enjoy this 'tea' more. The flavor is quite nice!
I love this tea! I like to brew enough to take to work so that I can enjoy it with my lunch and through out the day.
Being a huge fan of the Caramel and Cinnamon Apple Rooibos brewed as iced teas, we decided to try regular Rooibos to check the flavor. We love it and it makes a great combination ingredient to complement our fruit blends and other flavored Rooibos teas.

I love this as a hot tea in the winter, but discovered it is excellent iced for summer. I use the paper tea bags from Adigio to make sure the tea is crystal clear. No caffeine so I can drink it all day. Yum!
one of my favorite tea like drinks around. It's very sweet smelling and kinda earthy with heavy vanilla overtones. I really enjoy it like I enjoy most teas with sugar and a bit of milk.
I really enjoy rooibos. The flavor is outstanding and it's hard to mess up. This tastes great hot or iced and it should be a staple of any good tea cabinet.
I want to mark this as 'great' because the flavor really is great, but rooibos tea in general causes me a bit of frustration. It's a great tea in that you can forget about it and it won't be over steeped. However, it has a lot of fine particles and that means you will probably have more dregs with this type of tea.
It isn't a problem with this specific rooibos, but with pretty much every rooibos that I've had. I probably shouldn't dock it, but I don't like dumping out the bottom of the cup but I don't like the taste when I hit the dregs.
I did update my strainer and I've tried some tea cloth, but I still end up with fine particles in my tea.
I will keep drinking it but it's not my big go to because I know the end of the cup is always a bit disappointing. Maybe one day I'll find a strainer that works or come to accept the end of the cup for what it is. Till then I consider rooibos one of the great teas that leaves me longing for just a little more.

This is good, it's a little different of a taste than regular tea. But since I have sampled and liked/loved so many rooibos teas, this seems a bit flat and unnecessary. I'd rather have one of the flavored blends of rooibos, so many of them are soooooo good. So, this is certainly ok, but my choice for a decaffeinated non-flavored tea is decaf black vanilla. That wins over this for me because it tastes like real tea and it's sweet.
I drink more than 50 oz of rooibos tea every day. Never get tired of it. Great tea for beauty and pregnancy also!
This tea is very reminiscent of figs. It is indeed a very forgiving tea, and very delicious.

Rooibos has a very unique taste compared to the other types of tea I've had. I really enjoyed this, I'm definitely going to be buying more. I really like the earthy taste and the hint of sweet fruit to it.

It can be hard to find unflavored Rooibos in a grocery store, even in a large city like Houston. This is great quality loose leaf -- excited to find a great source for myself and friends at a reasonable price.

This rooibos is awesome. Very aromatic and smooth. I drink a tremendous amount of this on a daily basis. It makes a great iced tea. I just ordered my first pound of it.
Solid rooibos. I don't often reach for this one though, rooibos on it's own is fairly plain, I enjoy this type of tea more when flavored.
So good! Nice with creamer and a bit of sugar. Reminiscent of cinnamon tea.
