A very good tea to enjoy in the evening as a dessert tea, withthebonusofbeingcaffeinefree. Has a lovely flavor and is slightly sweet in character.

Just started liking the rooibos tea. This was an excellent blend of flavors. Could of used some more chocolate chips.

This is a very sweet tea (which I like very much), I think it could do with a little bit more nuttiness, but I might try adding just a bit of soy milk next time to see if that does the trick

This Rooibos Pecan Turtle was ok. I love pecan turtles, so I was very excited about trying this flavored tea. I think it was the rooibos flavor that I wasn't crazy about.

★★★★★

This is a very nice sweet tea. All of the flavors balance really nicely!

it was quite fragrant, in a very good way. It has a mild flavor touching all the favorite Pecan Turtle notes I was hoping for.
It was a warm hug in a cup.

This is a really nice, subtle tea with some natural sweetness. I don't add any honey or milk to it at all, and I love it!

★★☆☆☆

Mostly just tasted like a standard robust tea. A little creamer helped. Bring out some of the pecan notes, but not a favorite.

I love this! It tastes like caramel and dessert and it's a great caffeine-free alternative. This is my favorite rooibos tea.

★★★★★

Such a lovely evening tea when the weather turns cold. After going through several smaller bags in quick succession I finally just bought the large one.

★★★★★

Delicious. Not sure if it beats out my favorite rooibos (cinnamon chai), but definitely a great cup of tea with nutty flavors.

In a realm of taste and delight,
Adagio's Rooibos Pecan Turtle takes flight,
A captivating blend, warm and sweet,
A poetic symphony my senses meet.

As the aromatic notes gently unfurl,
A world of richness begins to swirl,
The enchanting fragrance of pecan delight,
Invokes memories with every sip I ignite.

Adorning my palate, the reddish hue,
A silky smoothness, a comfort so true,
An embrace of rooibos, calming and pure,
With undertones of caramel I simply adore.

Oh, the dance of flavors on my tongue,
As pecan whispers with every sip unsung,
A symphony of sweetness, so divine,
Warmth and nuance in each cup I find.

From South Africa's sun-kissed land,
This treasure of tea, gentle and grand,
With every sip, I'm transported away,
To a blissful oasis, where worries sway.

Adagio's Rooibos Pecan Turtle, a celestial brew,
Crafted with love, blending flavors anew,
A tea lover's dream, a soothing retreat,
Sip by sip, it brings solace oh-so-sweet.

So raise your cup high, let praises soar,
For this splendid tea, forevermore,
A harmonious fusion, nature's own art,
Adagio, you've captured my tea-loving heart.

A yummy dessert tea. I can't say I taste 'pecan turtle,' but I still very much enjoy the flavor.

★★★★★

What a decadent tea! I’m a big fan of the dessert-themed rooibos teas and this one takes the cake. The flavors are so warm and luscious, perfect for either a cool morning cup or a sweet treat in the evening. I recommend making it with a splash of cream and a small scoop of rooibos honey. The rooibos honey especially brings out all those rich flavors.

This one was okay. I could taste more pecan than any other flavor, maybe I will steep a bit longer. I liked it with milk.

★★★★★

Pecan turtles are one of my favorite treats, so this sounded tempting -especially as a caffeine-free afternoon tea. It did not disappoint. Thankfully not too sweet, so you can add sweetener to taste.

★★★★★

Just as delicious as I hoped it would be. This is similar to me to the banana nut honeybush. I'm learning that honeybush is a sweet cousin of rooibos and was pleasantly surprised how sweet this one is, though not overpowering nor artificial tasting. I think banana nut honeybush is my favorite tea by adagio and I find I enjoy a cup of it practically every evening. This is a nice change up.

★★★★★

I liked this tea because it seems like a dessert tea. A little something that could satisfy my sweet tooth rather than a calorie laden dessert. Very tasty.

This is the second rooibos tea that I love. I didn't like Rooibos before, but I am becoming a fan. I have this tea with cream and it tastes like a treat! I have it often before going to bed.

This tea smells incredible, but when brewed according to the suggested prep, I found it was too weak. I tried again and doubled the amount of tea used and was much happier with the end result. A nice desert tea after dinner.

★★★★★

I loved this tea. Especially iced. Reminds me of a tea named Road to Hana at an old tea shop I used to live near. A great blend of flavors. Delicious with milk. Did not need extra sweetner, which I appreciate. Ordering more!

Taste just like fannie may candy turtles without the sugar a great tea for diabetics you don't miss the sugar at all.

Delicious uncaffeinated tea. Very forgiving, can be steeped for 10 minutes and it's still tasty. Great with milk and sugar for a dessert tea experience.

★★★★★

As a chocolate lover, I wanted to try this Pecan Turtle tea. It is so good! There is a little chocolate, a little fruity, a little floral, and a little cinnamon. What a wonderful dessert tea. I let it steep for 10 minutes instead of 5, then add a little honey.

★★★★☆

very sweet flavor. added oatmilk to make it creamy. nice dessert tea

A little heavy on the caramel flavor, but still enjoyable. This tea would probably be tastier for those who add sugar, as it definitely has a dessert quality.

Nice winter tea, love the flavor. Little chocolate pieces in there didn't make the tea taste too sweet or artificial.

★★★★★

This is such a great evening treat. Sometimes when I want caffeine, I blend it with the Adagio black tea called “Cream,” and they pair together really well.

I'd never tried rooibos before, but I wanted to get some caffeine-free samples for the new year and this was the first I opened. As a total newbie I do find the wood-ish taste and smell kind of distracting, though it's not outright offensive and I look forward to seeing if my brain gets over its confused 'this is wood, I'm not sure it's food' reaction to rooibos by the time I finish my packets. The pecan and caramel were the next most dominant presence for me even with the distraction of the wood, with maybe a little cinnamon close behind.

I was hesitant to add honey as I usually do with teas, since this has chocolate chips already, but I may give it a shot next time and see if that takes the edge off a bit while I get used to it. Overall I would not say it's a bad tea at all, but definitely don't expect the rest of the blend to bury the wood taste and smell very much if that's how rooibos is for you.

EDIT: On my second try, that particular really overwhelming woodchip quality is nowhere to be found. It's still mildly woodish, but in a low-key way like the subsequent rooibos I've tried. Maybe my brain was just freaking out that one time? It's a mystery, but I'm glad it's improving.

EDIT #2: After some time and drinking lots of other types of rooibos and honeybush teas, I decided to be brave and open this sample baggie again. It now tastes nothing like woodchips at all to me, and has the normal expected dessert flavor. Adding a star, then, and a note that newbies to rooibos should expect a bit of a ride before it takes on its final taste.

Shared this one with my dad who recently had to stop drinking caffeine. It’s a delightful dessert tea!

★★★★☆

Rooibos can have a powerful woody flavor by itself, and I'm not usually a fan of it. This blend has enough other ingredients to tone down the rooibos and make it a pleasant cup of tea. The cocoa and pecan really comes out. I drink this tea plain.

from the first rich scent of the tea, I was entralled. It brews into a sensational treat to drink and relax. I will DEFINITELY order again.

Nutty and sweet. This tea can stand alone or be mixed with a black tea for a flavorful, bold treat.

My kids can't get enough of this tea. It's caffeine free tea with just the right notes of caramel and chocolate to make a sweet treat for the kiddos without the side effects of...caffeine in kids. I ended up buying two pounds of it...truth be told...I love it too.

★★★★★

Steeped at 212 for 3 minutes. When I opened the packet the aroma was so amazing. I couldn’t wait to try it. I wasn’t disappointed. It was packed with flavors. Definitely will be a tea I keep in stock at all times

mmmm... I've discovered the Rooibos Chais this winter. Spicy, sweet, and caffeine free, personally I don't think they can be beat for cuddling up in the evening by the fire with a book or with a pet or ... (ahem) friend. The Rooibos Pecan Turtle has an amazing caramel-chocolate taste that is, in my opinion, better than most of the similar teas. (Chocolate Chai Pu-Erh being the major exception)

This tea tastes like dessert! I love the chocolatey, nutty, caramelly flavor. It can sometimes be too sweet with the rooibos, which, to me, has a honey taste anyway. But very good for a decadent mood.

This might be my favorite of the flavored red teas (and I've tried almost all of them). I was afraid the pecan flavor would taste artificial but it's just delicious. It's especially good for those evenings when I'm really craving dessert but don't want all the sugar. It's the perfect dessert tea!
