Really liked this! Nothing against Earl Grey, but I like the balance that the Rooibos helps bring. Is a close contestant to the Earl Grey Bravo for my favorite Earl Grey variety.
A caffeine-free twist on a classic blend. Zesty citrus, but smoother and sweeter than traditional Earl Grey.

Really liked this! Nothing against Earl Grey, but I like the balance that the Rooibos helps bring. Is a close contestant to the Earl Grey Bravo for my favorite Earl Grey variety.
The bergamot flavor was much more prominent than I was expecting which made this tea ever so slightly bitter, but the part I liked most about this tea for me was the strong citrus-orange flavor and aroma.
It's good, but it's not as much of an earl grey as I would like.
This tea is good, but the rooibos I think takes away from the earl grey flavor.
Oh my goodness this tea is delicious! It's a fantastic no caffeine alternate to ordinary earl grey, and the rooibos adds a very interesting texture to the tea. Love it!
I prefer the flavor of rooibos to honeybush because it is less astringent. This blend is very astringent though. The bergamot isn't as pronounced as I would like either.
This tea was actually the first tea I had tasted from adagio. And, it was kind of peachy tasting. I prefer it hot with cream and sugar. The flavor really comes out like that..I really enjoy this tea and the different flavors it gives.
My husband hated this earl grey. He is a classic earl grey lover and found it absolutely disgusting. He tried it with sugar. He tried it with varying levels of cream. He dried to at a cooler temperature. He tried it for less time. He tried it for more time. It had this bizarre aftertaste of mint. It is definitely not for an earl grey lover.
I rather like earl grey. This one is different, but the rooibos adds a nice flavour.
It was bitter in a way I never thought rooibos could get bitter. I usually love Earl Grey but have not been impressed with adagio's Earl Greys.
This is a delicious earl grey blend. The roobios makes it taste a but nutty and the flavors combine to make deliciousness.
The most mellow and warming earl grey I've had. It's very warming and caffeine free! So you can drink it whenever.
The ingredients were flavorful and fresh but it was just a really weird combination. Not entirely unpleasant, but I can't figure out why it tastes strange.
Earl Greys are a risky purchase for me, because I've had some that had a really artificial bergamot flavor. This one is perfect, and also mixes well with other rooibos flavors for a nice change.
The friend that I bought this for really loves rooibos and earl grey and found that this combination was a great mix of both.
This is a good substitute for traditional black earl grey tea.
Has a strong, robust flavor without being over bearing. the bergamot naturally compliments the Rooibos. Vaguely tastes like fruit loops.
This tea is a great substitute if you don't want the caffeine of the typical black earl grey. Earl grey was never a favorite of mine but I gave it a try and I enjoyed it. While I might buy it again, I would select a few other teas as my top choices.
A decaf version of Earl Grey, and it has Rooibos! Mmmm...
This is by far the best rooibos out there. I love the flavor of earl grey, so this hits the spot!
The earl grey flavors are there but so is the awful taste of rooibos like wet straw. Should have started with just one rooibos sampler first.
Pretty good for an earl grey, if you don't want the kick and caffeine from black tea. Really, really nice when blending with other teas. Since rooibos is a bit smaller as loose leaf tea, it does take some extra time for clean-up.
This was really delicious. It smells lovely, and tastes great. It almost has a minty flavor. If regular earl grey is too strong in black tea or flavor, this tea would be good for you.
A really great herbal alternative to traditional earl grey.
I've never had normal earl grey so I can't compare, but I thought this tea was very good. Had a light citrus flavor and smelled great.
I received this as the free sample with my tea order and decided this would be the first cup I had. The tea has a sweet smell that reminds me of fruity pebbles, this isn't a bad thing! I normally drink my Earl with sugar and milk but since this was my first time trying Roobios I wanted to try it straight.
While the tea is pretty good straight, once I added a small amount of sugar I enjoyed it much more. While this may not end up being a replacement for normal Earl Grey, I can see myself enjoying a cup every now and then.
This is my every day tea. It's not as strong as a black, so it holds up really well plain. It also seems to taste softer and sweeter than a black when sweetened. It's easy to drink in larger quantities, as it's not caffeinated and very smooth.
Over all, the character of this tea is smoother and more mellow than the traditional black, but has the undeniable 'Earl Grey' lift and pungency.
This tea is great if you like the taste of Earl Grey and are looking for a milder, sweeter flavor than what a black tea will give you. The color is surprisingly dark and rich, and it has an amazing aroma. My only complaint is that it doesn't really taste like Rooibos at all, which isn't a problem.
I'm switching to caffeine free teas and traditional Earl Grey was always a favorite. The Rooibos Earl Grey doesn't taste exactly like the traditional version, but this still tastes great. efinitely has the Bergamot flavor that makes it taste like the traditional Earl Grey.
Really not fan. I tried the reccomended steeping time then cut it down a couple times. Also tried lower temperatures. It always smells like hot dog water and tastes like cough medicine.
the earl grey flavoring worked a lot better than I was expecting with the rooibos.
A very good tea, we use it with our IngenuiTEA pot. It's an amazing 'wake up' tea!
I'm a few sips into my first cup right now. It's good. I like the bergamot flavor with the rooibos flavor, though I feel like the latter overpowers the former at times. It's a great tea. an interesting twist to the earl grey. With honey and lemon, I think this tea could be even more awesome.
Good cup of rooibos tea. I'm an earl grey fan and while I think I prefer the black tea variety, this would be a good caffeine-free alternative. Only really good for one steeping.
Just as described, a sweeter and milder version of its black tea counterpart. I like my Earl Grey really bergamot-y and find the flavour too subtle in some teas, but this one had bergamot flavour strong enough for me! Highly recommend for those who want Earl Grey in the evening or are sensitive to caffeine.
A beautiful amber colored liquid, with a delicious, delicate smell. The taste is weaker than I anticipated, however I have never tried a rooibos-based tea. I taste the blue cornflowers and bergamot the most. A nice afternoon tea or when you want a relaxing cup at the end of the day. Love that its naturally caffeine-free!
This was a great tea. I was skeptical about it at first, but it was great. I hooked.
Not my favorite rooibos tea, but if you like earl grey you will like this. I wouldn't choose this tea every night but once it awhile it's a nice change from my other rooibos options.
I liked this tea a lot! So much bergamot! The bergamot was a little light, but it was still amazing and SMELLS SO GOOD.
My family used to dine at often, at a authentic Chinese Restaurant,
I got this for my daughter as she loves early grey.she said it smelled great in the bag but once brewed it had a odd medicine like smell to it.she tried it before she put sugar in it and thought it alone was nice but she did note that to much sugar indeed make it taste like medicine.over all she said this was a good tea and she was sure it would make some really nice ice tea.but over all she said she would prob not be able to drink this each day but maybe every other day or so..so sorry to say but 3 stars :(
A big fan of earl grey black and earl grey green, but rooibos and earl grey do not seem to mesh quite as well.
I am sorry if this is getting old. I just want free tea.
You can tell the earl grey flavor is there but it is rather weak. It has the typical flavor of a rooibos tea to go along with it.
Smelled very much like the decaf Earl Grey, just less...pungent? Less sharp? Less something. Carried over into the taste, its a lot smoother and less acidic. Very, very nice.
Bergamot is a little strong, but we don't mind it and still very nice rooibos at reasonable price. This is our everyday non-caffeinated tea. It is also great iced.
This tea has a lovely Earl Grey flavor without all of the caffeine. It is great with a splash of milk and honey. It has a smooth after taste.
Mr. Grey is my tea of choice, I love it, love it, love it. But I don't love how it will keep me up at night. I gave this guy a try. Tastes very similar to it's brother, but without all that nasty caffeine. It is actually quite relaxing at the end of a long day as well.
This tea smells okay in the package, but as soon as you pour water on it it reeks of rotten tomatoes. It has an ok flavor, but the smell is terrible. It also has a slight minty aftertaste - not enough to taste, really, but enough to make your mouth feel weird. This is not one I will be purchasing again.
I love earl grey tea but am staying away from caffeine. This is a fantastic alternative!
