I felt like my life was over when I found out I couldn't have caffeine any more. Enter rooibos Earl Grey. I can't taste a difference. Life is much better now :)

★★★★☆

I don't know if this is smokey enough to call it earl grey and the bergamot slightly overpowers the rooibos flavor. However, it's a nice tasting cup of tea

I don't drink any teas but herbals for religious reasons, and I'd been so sad that I'd never get to copy Captain Picard's order. This is as close as I'll get, and it's excellent. The perfect balance between citrus and rooibos!

The citrus flavor is overwhelming when brewed at regular strength. When I make it weaker, it's more tolerable. Don't think I'll be ordering this one again.

This doesn't taste anything like earl grey to me. Regardless of how long I steep it. However, it's still a tasty cup of tea. Just not quite what I was looking for. The rooibos overpowers the bergamot.

★★★★★

I am a long time fan of regular Earl Grey tea, especially Adagio's Earl Grey tea. I'm also a long time fan of rooibos tea, so when I saw Earl Grey rooibos, I had to try it. It is delightful! The bergamot is strong and vibrant and very aromatic. If you like only a hint of bergamot, then this tea may not be for you, but if you love the fresh floral and citrus notes, give this a try. The rooibos is a lovely foundation, smooth and soft underneath. I think this may be my new favorite.

★★★★★

Probably my favorite! Unsweetened it can still curb a sweet tooth. The dry mix is beautiful and the steeped tea tastes great. I have already ordered it twice and will continue to.

★★★★★

Got this as part of the Rooibos sampler, and fell in love with it! It tastes like earl grey without the the caffeine! what could be better?! :)

★★★★★

I've always liked earl grey, but this one is definitely my favorite.

★★★★★

Goes without saying this is the best black tea. About to try the earl green and I hope it is as refreshing as the black.

★★★★☆

This is a good alternative to Earl Grey if you don't want the caffeine, but it still really tastes like a rooibos tea. In other words, it won't be exactly like drinking a 'regular' Earl Grey.

★★★★★

The scent of this was a little off- putting at first. It frankly smelled like medicine. Brewed, however, this tea was great. It had a nice, full bergamot flavor. This could easily serve as tea and biscuits all in one cup, and the best thing is that you can't oversteep it! Definitely adding this to my rotation.

The loose-leaf version is excellent. But I am very disappointed with the teabags. They lack that rich flavor that you get with the loose-leaf. They actually taste pretty bad.

★★★★★

This is a delicious earl grey blend. Mild and wonderful citrus flavor.

★★★★☆

Another good tea which is clean, has a strong aroma, and it overall a good tea. I tried this out on whim and I'm not sure the overall flavor is for me which is why I gave it the second highest-ranking.

★★★★★

Exactly what I was looking for! Full, citrus flavor. I love getting my Earl Grey fix right before bed.

I love earl grey. I love rooibos. I thought for sure that this would be a winning combination for me, but I just can't muster up more than a 'meh' for this tea. I think the creamy sweetness of the rooibos is just a odd mix with the strong citrus of the earl grey.

★★★★☆

Very good, you can't smell any rooibos until you taste it, I do wish I could get the earl grey flavors to come out more when brewing, but it's still a very pleasant tea.

★★★★★

great bergamot flavor. Reminds me of earl grey and gives me my fix as I am avoiding black tea due to oxalates

★★★★☆

The dry tea smells like a classic earl grey tea, heavy on the bergamot. Brewed up, it smells a bit more like rooibos than I expected. But in the cup, it tastes more balanced. It's ideal for a night cap since it's naturally caffeine free. I enjoyed this cup.

This tea has a very interesting flavor. I love a good cup of Earl Grey, and I'm a big fan of rooibos, so I thought I would give it a try. The Earl Grey flavor is more sweet than citrusy, which is a point off from me anyway, but it is also overpowered by the sweetness of the rooibos. If you like light and sweet teas, you might enjoy this.

An interesting and wonderful flavor combination. My only complaint is that the loose tea is so tiny that it falls through the holes in my tea ball.

★★★★☆

This is a great take on traditional earl gray for days when you don't want or can't have caffeine. The citrus smells heavenly and it blends very well with the rooibos.

Spicy, if unsweetened. Might be great with cream flavor.

★★★★★

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this tea! Very fruity.

★★★★☆

The rooibos is so fine that steeping was a bit problematic at first. the first cup I attempted had at least half the leaves floating in the tea. I don't mind when a few stray bits escape the infuser. that's inevitable with many of them. But this was a bit too much. I ended up using a french press to brew it, and that did the trick. I poured myself a leaf-free cup and it was very enjoyable. Not as strong in flavor as a traditional cup of Earl Grey, but good for when you want the essence without the caffeine. With the right amount of sweetener it was divine.

I like this tea fine, but my brother is totally in love with it. Finally just bought tea bags because I got tired of having to make the loose leaf for him all the time.

★★★★★

A wonderful solution to my late night earl grey cravings. I'm very happy to have found this and I would definitely order more of this tea in the future.

★★★★★

My family loves earl grey. This is a wonderful option to enjoy the earl grey flavor without the caffeine. Wonderful fragrance.

★★★★☆

Rooibos with bergamot oil flavoring and blue cornflower. The nose is very much bergamot citrus, with a grassy note of the rooibos. Taste has an orangey kick to the grassy rooibos.

Got a sample of this in my order. Heavenly scent. More orange smelling than I expected in Earl Grey. The familiar taste of rooibos is clear.

★★★★☆

This is a good, non-caffeinated version of earl grey.

★★★★☆

I am not a fan of sweet tea, and this is a naturally sweet blend...but I still like it.

It is not too sweet, requires no added sugar and all around not bad for a sweeter taste of tea

★★★★☆

This tea is a delicious take on earl grey. I enjoy it with a little bit of sugar, but not too much, to accentuate the rooibos.

This one was okay. It smells really great, but it's mostly just calm and mellow instead of smoothing and calmly delightful or anything. I was hoping for more from it. I'm definitely going to finish out my sample, but I'm not sure I'll be getting any more of it.

I love this! I always loved earl grey before bed, but the caffeine is no good. This is the perfect solution. I mostly get the earl grey-y taste, and don't pick up much of the rooibos-y (which is good because I don't particularly like rooibos).

★★★☆☆

I love earl grey and have been trying to drink more rooibos,so I thought I would give this one a try. It had a much stronger citrus flavor than I was expecting. Not my favorite EG Rooibos blend.

★★★★★

I loved this and the decaf earl grey both this is milder than the decaf earl grey and it had a very calming effect to it, I had the best nights sleep I have had in months after drinking this so it will def. be added to my rotation. I hear its not as robust as the earl grey bravos but I ordered this first because I needed more evening teas

This tea is definitely different! I like it, but I probably wouldn't purchase again.

★★★★★

I am not a fan of Earl Grey for the most part--it's the one tea I need milk for. But I was looking for a caffeine-free tisane I could have after dinner, and picked this up. Delicious! The bergamot flavor is definitely more noticeable than classic Grey, but it matches nicely with the rooibos, and is a great evening tea before bed.

Really nice - I love being able to have a nice cup of Earl Grey at night, without the caffeine. Also, somewhat less astringent than its black tea cousin.

★★☆☆☆

I didnt taste any Earl grey. I am not sure what was making the mint taste, or if Rooibos just has a minty taste, but - It was not for me. This was my first experience with Rooibos, I had high hoped for a non-caf tea, but..ew. Not for me.

★★★★★

Love Earl Grey, enjoying a caffeine-free version of it.

★★★★★

Earl grey is my favorite go-to tea and I was skeptical that a rooibos version would not mix well or at leasthave an artificial tasting flavor. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how nice the combination is though.

★★★★☆

This is delicious. Unfortunately, it is not an inexpensive substitute for decaf earl grey, like I'd hoped. In fact, even calling this earl grey seems kind of wrong. I'd probably give it five stars if it was called 'bergamot rooibos.' It's a good tisane, but it doesn't live up to its name.

Very good, however the earl grey flavor is somewhat lacking, overall 8/10. Would by again!

The cornflower comes on really strong in this rooibos tea with light hints of citrus. Love it when I want a darker bitter taste to my tea without the caffeine

★★★☆☆

This one has an odd medicinal taste to it, which I think might be the orange peel? I was disappointed, but it wasn't terrible. Just not something I was super excited to drink. Will probably pass the rest of the packet on to someone who fancies ... whatever that is going on there.

This is a great earl grey tea. We enjoy it in the mornings with breakfast and in the afternoons while reading a good book.

★★★★★

I'm a huge fan of Earl Grey, but not a huge fan of caffeine. This is a great replacement for me. If you're a fan of rooibus teas I'd say order a sample and give this a go.
