A comforting, sweet rooibos blend. Not too strong on the cinnamon, just enough for it to be present in the blend. A good blend for the fall or winter and an excellent night cap.
Like a freshly baked apple pie, paired with naturally sweet organic Rooibos herb. Spicy, fruity and playful.

A comforting, sweet rooibos blend. Not too strong on the cinnamon, just enough for it to be present in the blend. A good blend for the fall or winter and an excellent night cap.
This tea is delicious. Most cinnamon apple tea, the cinnamon is overpowering. This tea is mild and very tasty
Of the four rooibos tea samples I've had my first servings of, this is the first that was exactly 'as advertised' - no weird tastes or smells but the intended flavor was also still quite present, although it had to cool to a certain point before the apple part came through. If I didn't already have a cinnamon custom blend I'm very fond of this would be a strong contender for my next purchase, but I'm glad I tried it and I may circle back and pick some up after I've gotten a little more taste variety on my tea shelf.
Rooibos is always a good option, but cinnamon apple makes it taste so so good!!!
I love this tea! It's a perfect afternoon or evening tea (no caffeine), and has a lovely sweet, fruity, and spicy flavor.
I wish the spices came through more in this. Instead it tastes like a watered down apple cider. I steeped it at 5 minutes the first pot, 10 minutes the second to get more flavor and both left me wanting more. It's decent, but I wouldn't order this again.
The flavor was more mild than i was expecting but I still really enjoyed this! My first experience with rooibos.
This is a great tea for Fall cravings. I like this one with a little cream and sugar
An instant classic in our household. The cinnamon and apple flavors are there, but subtle enough to make this a good daily drinker. I like it with milk, my partner takes it without--good both ways!
I really wanted to like this, but it was just ok. I didn't pick up any apple notes. A faint cinnamon smell was all I got. Even the addition of a sugar didn't bring out the cinnamon for me. Others mention a Red-Hot candy taste. If I smell the dry tea in the bag, I can pick up on it a little, but not once it's been prepared.
This is a great rooibos! I don’t like rooibos but I like this!
I think this was nice, but the cinnamon flavors didn't really add anything to the experience. (Cold brewed for 10 hours)
This teas on the light side, but also pretty accurate to the namesake. If you are expecting an overwhelming strong apple taste or cinnamon, this is more like 'perfumed' with both. I think the cinnamon is stronger, but my girlfriend is able to catch both subtleties of the flavors better than I. She quite enjoys it.
Rooibos tends to be a heavy YMMV tisane type for me, far as flavoring or the like go, but for people who are into the subtle nature or pick up on it more than I this is pretty good.
This tea has a really nice apple flavor, I just wish there was a little more cinnamon taste. Still, a great tea for the fall.
Actually tasted like a fresh hot cup of apple cider. It’s 50 degrees tonight in Massachusetts and sipping on this with the windows open is pure fall time bliss 🧡
This is a nice tea blend. I can pick up on the apples and a slight cinnamon taste. It was very delicious with extra cinnamon and steamed milk froth.
I love hot apple cider, but the last few years, whether it’s been fresh or powdered, something in it hasn’t sat well on my stomach. This tea solves that problem. Steeped at 212 for 15 minutes, this tastes just like hot apple cider with none of the adverse side effects!
This tea is perfect for fall. It reminds me of apple cider.
Smells like apple cider, but the rooibos has a tinny taste which I still don't care for.
I want to like this tea. I really really do. Apples and cinnamon are a great combo. But it's rooibos. I just can't with rooibos. I couldn't even finish the cup. I don't know why I keep trying it, I know I am not gonna like it!
tastes like a hot apple cider! the apple could be more prominent as it does get taken over by the rooibos quite a bit, but it’s good !
I was introduced to Rooibos by a South African in Netherlands, and love to drink it when I read 'No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency' novels, heehee. (The main character drinks it as well.) But this is even better! I've had it from another tea provider with vanilla, but the cinnamon is a marvelous addition, and I can really taste the apple as well. This is the best rooibos I've had.
CommuniTEA portion: Steeped at 212 for 7 minutes. Enjoyable enough but I didn't get a whole lot of cinnamon or apple flavor in the cup.
This tea brews to a beautiful red amber color. The smell is more medicinal than it the taste, but it still just doesn’t thrill me.
I really enjoy red rooibos blends, and this one is no exception. The apple and cinnamon are certainly there but don’t come on too strongly for me. Everything blends together nicely and I highly recommend it. It’s going on my wish list.
This was a good tea, and if the cinnamon flavour had been a little stronger, I think it would've been a great tea.
Menthol rooibos and tart apple flavors flush out this sip, with warm cinnamon spreading across the tongue on the aftertaste. Not bad, but I would prefer this flavor combo on any base other than rooibos!
Perfect tea for fall with a. strong apple flavor, not much cinnamon though!
Communitea: The spices in this blend are not for me.
My CommuniTEA sample packet didn’t list cinnamon as an ingredient and I didn’t really taste the flavor after the tea was steeped. I just tasted spiced apple flavor. I am disappointed because I really like cinnamon and am generous with using it to make apple desserts.
I enjoyed the aroma and taste of this tea. I agree that it could use more cinnamon and would be better with honeybush rather than red rooibos. I don’t care for red rooibos but I did think that the taste of it was pretty compatible with the apple cinnamon flavors. I steeped at 200 degrees for 5 minutes and added rock sugar.
The apple and cinnamon are nice, but the rooibos unpleasantly overwhelms them, negating any flavor but rooibos.
I really like the smell of this tea. In the first sip I like the apple and ci but medical rooibos takes over. Probably enjoyable if you like rooibos but just not for me.
I added 1 tsp of tea sugar and 1 tsp of fruit tisane honey to my 12 oz mug as I waited for my tea water to reach 212° F. I steeped my tea for 6 minutes.
I had some concerns about this tea, since I don’t usually care for rooibos, turmeric, mango, and ginger and because I find that many teas have more cinnamon than I would like.
When the tea was done steeping, a definite apple cinnamon aroma (with a hint of rooibos) issued from my mug. I was delighted to find that this was not over-spiced and that it cooled nicely. It was a bit weak for me, but I believe that could be easily remedied by adding more tea leaves.
Sing along with me!
Rooibos and cinnamon!
Sitting in a tree
(Apple sings along)
K-I-S-S-I-N-G
First comes love (sweet love)
Then comes marriage (rings!)
Then comes a teacup carriage
A true love story

I have to admit I wasn't overly impressed with this particular tea, though I probably should have expected that. I find apple based drinks, other than apple cider, to be too mild and watery. This tea is much the same. It smells delicious upon opening and during steeping but was very weak on the first several sips. After it settled a little the flavors blended a bit and grew a bit stronger, but still not strong enough. I would have liked to have been able to taste the other flavors more, especially the cinnamon. I will finish my package of this tea, but will probably pass on purchasing it again.
UPDATED 9-17-22:
Recommended steeped; 5-10 minutes at 212°F. I steeped for 8 minutes at the recommended at the recommended temperature in 11oz of water with 1.5 tsp of tea/rock sugar.
I was rather surprised by this tea. It restored my faith in Rooibus teas. When I opened the package there was a very cinnamon scent. The tea smells predominately like Rooibus, which is not unpleasant. The tea continues to give off Rooibus aroma while steeping. The first sip is quite sweet and Rooibus forward with cinnamon in the background. I didn’t notice any apple flavor, but I also didn’t see any apple pieces in my packet, so that could be the reason.
As it cooled the tea became mellow and very pleasant. I enjoyed it very much. The is a slight Rooibus after taste that those who don’t care for the tea may find distasteful, but which didn’t bother me at all. Those who dislike Rooibus would most likely not care for this blend, but I think Rooibus lovers will really enjoy this blend. i've upgraded my review from 4 to 5 stars.
This is a nice blend of apple and cinnamon. Perfect for fall!
Cinnamon and apple with earthy rooibos, a wonderful caffeine free treat with milk and sugar.
UPDATED from 9/25/21: The wonderful aroma of cinnamon apple greets me as the CommuniTEA packet opens and it steeps into a strikingly clear reddish amber. Red rooibos is very small, and thus pieces of it will end up in your cup, no matter how small your infuser holes are. Luckily, they kindly sink to the bottom of the cup and out of the way. This tea is FABULOUS especially if you like strong apple & cinnamon flavors. This should get 6/5 stars because it tastes so great. It is great hot, and it is great cold. Add sweetener (1/4 teaspoon for 10 oz) and this tea is like a cinnamon-y candy apple! The old adage: “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” may not really apply to this tea, but since it is caffeine free, I can drink it all day long- and THAT is a healthy choice! (5 mins @ 212ºF).
I was very hopeful for this tea but all I got was a Rooibos flavor. I totally missed the apple and cinnamon. It might just have been my packet but this tea was a miss for me.
I don't like rooibos and I felt like the cinnamon and apple didn't come through as much as I would have liked
Very good for a night time tea with no caffeine. Feels like fall!
This wasn’t awful, however it reminded me of something from my childhood. To me it was reminiscent of theraflu.
This is loaded with flavor. I feel like I'm drinking spiced cider rather than tea
Love the cinnamon flavor. I brew this hot as a after dinner treat.
We love the taste and flavor that reminds us of the Fall to come.
Love it….mild taste add cinnamon tea and it’s wonderful.
I didn't really get the cinnamon or apple flavors from this, so much so that I wondered if there was something wrong with my sample.
Tastes similar to what is called, a nice and relaxing tea.
A fruity tea with a bit of spice. Does well hot or cold or with cream or without.
