This one is pretty good, but i would have liked more apple flavor.

I liked the flavors but to me the cinnamon was overbearing on the apple. Didn't get hardly any apple flavor at all.

★★★★★

I love this cinnamon apple tea. It's a delightful blend that captures the essence of baked apple pie in its aroma. Each sip is a smooth, flavorful experience.

Really great and natural flavor. Cinnamon and apple is the perfect combination to remind you of apple pie!

delicious tea. Perfect for fall season. I usually brew my herbal teas between three and five minutes. Delicious alone or with a little raw honey.

This one is my son's favorite out of all my teas!! This is a must keep on hand in our house!

This packet has a wonderful apple cinnamon aroma. It has a nicely sweet cinnamon apple flavor. One of the few my husband said he liked, most are just I’ll drink it.

★★★☆☆

The apple flavoring stood up well against the red rooibos for a nice honey-apple flavor, but I could barely taste the cinnamon.

another fall sip, great for anytime, as the rooibos base is naturally caffeine free. Cider notes, hints of spice, it all comes together well!

Love this one, but I really love almost all fall flavors. This one the apple is a little bit more of a background flavor. I think the main notes that stand out are the woodsy vanilla-like rooibos and the cinnamon. I think the apple in the background works here though as it brings a mellow fruit sweetness and very slight tartness to each sip. Drank hot nothing added today. 212° 5 min

Andrea: I love and drink a lot of red rooibos. It needs a long, hot steep but so do apples and cinnamon, so this was an easy cup to brew. I tasted small sips with a spoon after it hit the 5 minute mark until it reached the intensity I like. Very nice on its own with a subtle sweetness and good body. It smells like hot apple cider. It tastes like other apple teas I've had SHOULD taste based on smell, but never quite do. Warm and comforting, rich and deep. I added a splash of whole milk and brown sugar to taste before sharing. Excellent latte! I'll be adding a bag of this to our next order for sure.

Lynn: I'm not a big fan of red rooibos. It smells amazing, but has an aftertaste I can't stand. I drink the green rooibos in fruity mixes sometimes, but only tolerate the red with cream and sugar. This is the nicest rooibos latte I've tasted. I'd actually drink a second cup! It was nice and round without the resinous aftertaste that usually ruins my cup.

Sep 25: just not a rooibos girl

Rooibos is tricky for me; has to be blended with certain flavors or I don’t enjoy it… this one was too medicinal for me.

Instantly smelled the apple though unlike the tea from yesterday it smelled almost artificial. It was a good cup of tea though, not exactly a standout tea but it was nice enough.

This smells like a warm fall patchouli. Cinnamon apple is a very good scent and both flavors come through in this tea, and complement the rooibos well. This is a nice autumnal afternoon tea, and reminds me of an apple pie when milk/cream and brown sugar are added.

Smells just like apple cider, and the taste is surprisingly refreshing.

I think this is one of the best red rooibos blends I have ever had! There's a really nice apple cinnamon flavor that reminds me of an apple pie. I'm adding this to my wishlist, and I think it could become a favorite.

This tea feels closer to apple pie than to cider for me. It paired well with my morning helping of blueberries in the first week of September, and that is definitely the vibe it gives - the promise of cozy fall. Mixed with butterscotch tea or rooibos caramel, this tea could be transcendent!

CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F. This blend is fine. The dry leaves smell great, and a lot of that transfers into the aroma of the first infusion. It does get weaker after being steeped once, which is a little bit disappointing. Mostly, I would say I taste the apple flavoring, which is a little bit sweet and tart, and then the Rooibos itself. Towards the back, I do get some tingles of spiciness from the cinnamon, but I wouldn't really call it spicy. It does remind me a little bit of apple cider.

Warm and cozy, loved it hot with creamer. Also, bought this for my mom, here is her review: 'A nice warm dessert tea.'

This is a great tea for fall, this is best with a little honey. This is one of the better apple flavored teas (compared to other brands especially).

★★★☆☆

The apple smell came through really strong, the flavor was not as strong but still rather good. The cinnamon was not super strong but overall a pretty decent cup that reminds me of fall

The aftertaste this tea had really threw me off, to be honest. Maybe that was too much apple (although I've tried other teas containing apple on here and they were fine), maybe not enough cinnamon, not sure, but won't be drinking it anytime soon.

I love black teas, but needed some that I could drink in the evenings. I actually bought this one for my husband, who loves all things cinnamon. I was skeptical, but have really enjoyed it as a infrequent treat.

Reminds me of cinnamon apple sauce. Mild apple flavor with just the right amount of cinnamon flavor. Nice orange colored tea is a welcome change from the various shades of brown to yellow color of traditional teas.

I'll confess, I bought this one by mistake. I was planning on getting the cinnamon rooibos chai, and apparently wasn't really paying attention when I added this one to my cart instead. No matter! It's delicious, and a perfect caffeine-free way to relax in the evening.

A good tea with a balanced flavor. It is not over-cinnamoned, which sone spiced teas tend to be. This isn’t a particularly unique or inventive tea, but it’s a good, solid fall/winter flavor.

Tried this at my sister's house and had to buy some for myself. Tastes a bit like spiced cider and is very tasty.

Absolutely love this tea, use the orange honey with it and it will just leave you feeling so warm inside.

Tastes amazing. I love the smoothness of Rooibos and even my husband who usually only drinks herbal thought this tasted wonderful.

It tastes like a baked apple and I love that it is caffeine free so on those nights you really want a tea but not a caffeinated one it hits the spot.

This tea is not bad, but I think I was expecting more. The woodiness of the rooibos is too prominent here, and it would likely be much more enjoyable as a honeybush blend. Regardless, cinnamon and apple is a timeless combination and you can't go too wrong there!

Originally tried it in the communitea. It was more aftertaste of apple or like Apple Jacks cereal. Next time, I won’t let it steep so long. This tea gives me autumnal flavors and low caffeine so nice for evening tea.

I enjoyed this tea, it has a nice apple cinnamon flavor where neither flavor dominates. It’s a great one for a crisp fall day. I do wish the cinnamon was a touch more pronounced but that’s just me, I’m a big cinnamon fan 😉 I would get this tea again. I bet it would be good iced as well.

Update CT 10/16/2024 - learned the ingredient list on my packet this time and last was incorrect - there was no mango! So I tried it today. A nice crisp apple flavor with a touch of cinnamon. Very enjoyable nightcap.

My guest taster enjoyed this tea tonight. She said it was a flavorful fall tea that she could relax and enjoy.

Delicious blend. I steeped 3 minutes at 212 degrees. Wonderful rust color liquor, aromatics of a natural almost sweet woodyness, flavor of an earthy apple cider with mild spice. Left to cool, the flavor is more pronounced. Wonderful blend for a crisp Autumn eve, the color a relaxing bonus. Great Blend.

A good Apple Cinnamon flavored tea. Quite smooth and tasty. I think the addition of apple slices would take it to five stars.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this tea. Red rooibos gets very overwhelming to me fast, but it takes a backseat in this tea. You definitely taste the apple and a smidgen of cinnamon. I wouldn't say it tastes like apple pie, maybe more like cinnamon applesauce, but in a good way. I won't be buying a bigger bag, because it's not something I'd want all the time, but it is a nice cinnamon apple that focuses on the apple. Tasty!

Upon opening the packet I got the same cigar tobacco scent that I've come to expect from a red rooibos. There was hardly any cinnamon or apple aroma just the rooibos that makes me proceed with trepidation. I decided the scent was better than the jasmine rooibos so I forged on with brewing, 212 degrees for the full 10 minutes. Brewed it smelled so much like cinnamon apple threaflu (the only decent tasting one, it's not made anymore) that I had to share it with my husband for his opinion, which he agreed. I'd made it this far so figured I should keep going, added in a generous (maybe too much) teaspoon of dark brown sugar and first a splash, then a glug of half & half. I do believe i have found a rooibos I don't dislike. The apple and cinnamon definitely come forward to be present, but i still get a strong medicinal taste on the back end. I doubt I'd actively reach for this but if it showed up in my communitea box I wouldn't turn it down. Much better hot than cold in my opinion.

Needed a bit of sugar to really bring out the apples, but WOW! Definitely going on the order list. I'm usually not much for rooibos on its own, but it's worth it in this mix. Wonderful autumnal flavors and perfect for a chilly fall day.

This is a nice tea for rooibos fans. The apple and cinnamon compliments the flavor of rooibos nicely. Very pleasant aroma.

Tart, sweet, and more subtle on the cinnamon then I imagined it’d be—either that or it all melds so well together!

I've tried this blend before and honestly surprised I haven't reviewed it yet. I know red rooibos tends to evoke a love-it or hate-it reaction depending on the other ingredients used for blending. For me, this blend is only okay. I don't love it or hate it, but I also can't drink it by itself. In my opinion, this is the kind of tea that you should pair with a pastry. I had my sip today with a slice of warm apple pie and it was heaven.

Tastes like an autumn festival. More apple forward than spice. I blended my second steeping with candy apple to keep up with the autumn festivities.
