This is a smooth red tea with a hint of caramel. I am more of a fan of Green Rooibos tea, but this one is not bad.
The smell of this tea really turned me off. I couldn't get past the process, medicine-y sort of scent it seemed to have, but the flavor itself was nice. Less caramel to me, more straight tea, but not a hint of bitterness. May need to try with cream and sugar.
Sweet and round, with a carmelly mouth feel (if that makes sense), this is a great tea on its own or in a blend.
I never thought I could be so addicted to this tea. The earthly flavor and hint of sweetness is superb. The best tea before bedtime, after a cup I am so relaxed and ready to sleep. Best part are the health benefits you get.
I enjoyed this tea a lot. It was my first in the rooibos category. I found that the flavor was definitely present and not overwhelming. I did not find it overly sweet as others described, but I did not add anything to it either. This is definitely a tea that could be added to by buy list. I purchased only a small sample bag.
The best word to describe this tea is smooth. It is rich and smooth, perfect as a dessert tea and probably my favorite of Adagio's rooibus teas.

Couldn't finish half a cup. I've had bad teas and just dealt with it but this I am returning. My bf tasted it and spit it out. This was by far the worst tea I've ever had.
With some sugar, this is a nice smooth rooibos with a bit of caramel, with milk, it brings out the caramel. Nice, but not something Id drink on a regular basis.
This is one sweet tea. You don't even after to add sugar if you don't want. It has a nice sweet caramelized sugar flavor and the rooibos doesn't distract from it.
I wasn't a fan of this one but I think that maybe I just don't like rooibos because the caramel black tea was wonderful.
A very good dessert tea. I'm a huge fan of caramel, and this one works well. However, as with any rooibos I've had, it's too fine for an infuser, and works better with teabags.
It's a great tasting tea! Perfect amount of caramel. The only problem I had with it was the fact that the leaves are too small for my infuser. It wasn't much of a problem, but there were a few small leaves floating around my tea.
This is a sweet tea without adding any sugar! It has the aroma of caramel and it's such a nice treat for anyone who loves those deep, dark flavors. It's a little too ground for my infuser so I need to figure something else out but besides that I will definitely buy this again.

This is a really nice tea. The caramel goes great with the rooibos and it's a nice, sweet treat. I like it plain, but I'm sure it would be great with some milk and brown sugar. The caramel isn't overpowering and sweet, however I only ordered a sample. in the past, the samples I've ordered have tasted different from the stock in the bigger bags.
Sooooo gooooood. The caramel flavor is strong but not overpowering, and it lingers in your mouth after you're done. 'Dessert' teas usually leave me really underwhelmed. this is probably the most satisfying one I've ever tried.
This is nice...it suffers from the same issue the rooibos vanilla does, in my opinion. Delicious when hot, but gets a little too earthy for me as it cools.
The woody taste of the rooibos is a bit too much for me with this one, as there's not enough other flavor to mask it.

I'm not sure how to feel about this one. My boyfriend quite liked it, but I honestly can't decide if I like the woodsy flavor of the rooibos combined with the (admittedly spot-on) caramel or not. To give credit where it's due, I would certainly be willing to buy more than a sample to figure it out.

I have a sweet tooth, so I enjoyed it a lot, it's very sweet! Both rooibos and caramel flavor can be overpowering, but here they blended together. If you want a very distinct caramel flavor you might be disappointed.

This is the second rooibos tea I've tasted, and the second I haven't liked. I don't think I'll ever be a fan though I keep giving rooibos a try. The smell and tastes remind me of cigars...and that's not a good thing! Ironically I just ordered a sample of rooibos cinnamon apple (I'm hoping the cinnamon and apple balances the rooibos)...either I'm addicted to tea or I love to torture myself.

One of the better rooibos flavors. It doesn't have the unpleasant smokey scent that rooibos sometimes has. the flavor is woody and slightly sweet. It reminds me of honeybush, actually. The caramel flavor could be a little stronger
At first, I admit that I wasn't entirely sure if the tea actually smelled like caramel, but with the first sip, I was sold. Like the rest of the teas I've tried from Adagio, I've gone without any added sugar or cream, and like the rest of the teas, it's absolutely perfect as it is. Sweet enough without being cloying, the caramel flavor and the rooibos itself blend well together: it's marvelous iced, and definitely being added to my list of favorites.
Okay with honey or almond milk. the caramel is hard to place.
Absolutely delicious. I've found a lot of flavors blend alright with rooibos but don't complement and this was fantastic. Highly recommend. I like to sweeten mine with a little caramel sauce over honey to really bring out more of the caramel taste in the tea.

It smells SO SWEET, but it brews up way more mild and earthy, which is definitely a good thing, in my mind. I don't mind strong, sweet smells but I'm rarely in the market to drink something that tastes like candy. The slight sweetness of the tea is enough for me, and like any rooibos, it's very smooth.
I loved this tea. It was fantastic by itself or blending it with some other teas.
On its own, this tea is not the most impressive. But add a bit of sugar and cream, and oh my, this tea is a joy! I love a cup after dinner, and since there's no caffeine, I'm still able to fall asleep at a decent hour. Highly recommend!

A very good tea with a very sweet smell once you sniff the bag. It always makes me smile, i love the smell of caramel. mmm! It has a very nice taste as well, sweet, and very much like caramel in the aftertaste. I'll have to try mixing this with something more on the creamy side.
This tea is ok. I would give it 3/5. It's not bad, it's definitely likeable, but it's nothing special. Got it as a sample, it's not bad, if you like rooibos and a caramel-y touch, go for it.

This isn't a flavor I would normally go for, but I got it as a free sample and really enjoyed it. It's a bit sweet, so I use about 1/2 the raw sugar I use for most teas. Great for when I'm at work and only have a couple of minutes to throw a fresh cup together, because it doesn't seem to get too strong if I forget and leave the infuser in my cup for...ever...
