Rooibos became an instant favorite when I tried it a couple years ago - storebought and bagged. Let me just say that Adagio Teas provide some next-level rooibos!! The deep red color produces a beautiful, tasty liquor. I do have to use the infuser with the smallest holes - it's just the nature of this tea to have tiny pieces. I love almond flavoring, and assumed it would pair well with the earthy, medicinal flavor of rooibos. I was so right on this assumption! The almond aroma in the package is VERY strong, but don't be alarmed as it fits just right with the rooibos once brewed. The tea promotes a sense of cleansing and calm. It just makes you feel good.

This was a good cup of tea when sipped with soy milk and sugar. A little artificial tasting on its own, but one of the better almond teas I've encountered.

I have come to the conclusion that I am not terribly fond of rooibos teas. I find they generally have a woody or medicinal flavour that cannot be masked. This tea delivered on the almond but I can't get past the base woodiness, and unless I add a lot of sweetener to make it more enjoyable, rooibos tea is not my favorite as a base for tea! I f you are fond of rooibos, I would not hesitate to try it, the almond was absolutely present but in my opinion overshadowed.

This is a wonderful desert in a mug, reminds me of biscotti.

I was disappointed when I tasted this tea because instead of a nutty flavor the almond flavor tasted artificial. It also fought the sweet roiboos base.

I love almond, and this tea has a nice level of flavor. Good with a little milk.

I haven't had too many Rooibos teas, but I really like that the almond flavour is there, but not overpowering. It reminds me of the frosting my grandmother made.

This tea is my absolute favorite! You can smell the almonds and taste it so strong! Love love love this flavor

I like the almond complementing the rooibos, though I do tend to use this one more to blend with others than to drink on its own.

I got this as a no-caffeine alternative to the black tea almond for end of day sipping. And I’ve read that rooibos contains magnesium and calcium, minerals which play a role in a good night's sleep. I’ll gladly take all the help I can get there! ~ ~ When opening the pack, the aroma is light on the almond with more of the rooibos in the foreground. After steeping, I notice more of the almond aroma in my cup. ~ ~ Overall, this is a smooth sip with none of the astringency that you get with the black tea almond. I usually have this with agave and with or without a splash of half n half. I haven’t tried the almond oolong yet to offer a comparison to it.

I love rooibos tea but do not love this. The almond is too overpowering to taste the natural flavor of the rooibos itself. Some of Adagio's flavorings are either really good or really bad...this one is really bad! I was trying this to see if it could match a blend I get from another tea company, think I will stick with that blend.

Favorite of the roobios teas I add hibiscus flowers they are a perfect match

Wonderful smell of almond, not so strong in the cup. Better with a bit of honey added.

Delicious! Nice and creamy rooibos with sweet almond finish, it was a little powerful in the pouch I got but it's even better when you put a little almond milk in.

This is perfect for dipping some cookies or biscotti in, its perfect if you love that almond flavor. It kind of tastes like an almond shortbread cookie.

A little light, but delicious! Clean almond flavor that s notable even on the 2nd steep, and the rooibos complements it nicely. Naturally sweet and smooth, with a slight fruity cherry-like aftertaste. I bet this would be great in a blend!

Tastes a little processed, almost sickly sweet. The almond overpowers the rooibos a bit. I probably wouldn't buy again, but if you love almond flavor you should give it a little try.

This has a great almond scent but isn’t quite as flavorful as I would like. Still great to blend with other teas or add some coconut in to steep!

Rooibos tea is always a calming tea. With the almond, there is a lighter flavor that is pleasant and, somehow, even more calming.

Wanted to make sure it was strong enough so did 1.5tsp and topped with a little vanilla unsweetened almond milk and a drop of honey and it was perfect! Took me back to my childhood and remembering some kind of almond tea my mother use to purchase. If only she were still alive to come have a cup with me :)

Smells almost too almondy, almost too much almond for me. After letting it set after steeping, it calms down and isn't so overpowering. Great to drink at any temperature.

Nice tea with a very warm and smooth flavor.

I had originally gotten a sample of this tea with a CommuniTEA box and both me and my mom really enjoyed it, so we decided to get a bag. I still enjoy it, but we both picked up on a much more medicinal taste with the larger bag vs. the sample bag. Sugar and a touch of oat milk help to mellow it out, but it is definitely still there. Not sure if it's the rooibos itself or the almond flavoring.

The marzipan description is accurate! Sweet and nutty--almond is a nice complement to rooibos.

Very tasty almond tea. I love all rooibos teas and this one didn't disappoint!

This is my wifes favorite flavor, she said it tastes like Christmas cookies.

Smooth and creamy with a nice almondy/cherry flavor.

I’m a huge fan of Adagio’s vanilla rooibos and enjoy almond, so I thought I would give this a go. It’s not overly almondy, which I like. Just enough to distinguish what you’re drinking from the other rooibos flavor. A delicious tea and I’ll add to the rooibos rotation.

Definitely a fave in our house! We prefer the almond black or the almond oolong, but sometimes you need a caffeine free option and this fits the bill. Great almond flavor and aroma.

This is my husband's favorite tea. He loves it warm, he loves it cold. And apparently he even loves it when he mistakes the last inch of it for coffee and refills his mug with coffee and creates an almondy tea-coffee hybrid. I don't enjoy almond or coffee, so the thought sounds terrible to me, but he's recreated it on purpose a bunch now and swears by it so to each their own!!

This is one of my all time favorites! I love that it has such a strong almond flavor. Perfect in the evenings when I’d like a caffeine free tea.

I ordered this as a gift for my aunt and she LOVED it!

This tea smells great when you open the package. Once steeped, it has a more liqueur or medicinal scent. It benefits from milk to sweeten the flavor.

Good flavor. I love almond teas and this is one of my favorites.

This tea was an unexpected favorite! The initial strong scent of the dry tea was initially intimidating, but when brewed it is delightful! It reminds me of marzipan.

I received this with the CommuniTea and my family was so impressed that I had to buy a larger bag to share. The smell reminded me of those Italian cookies I grew up with, and it tastes just as great. This is a really nice, smooth tea to have after dinner and is nicely paired with an almond cookie or a similar treat. Others mentioned that there was only a light almond flavor, but since I dislike most almond-flavored things, the taste was subtle enough for me to appreciate it.

The tea leaves and the tea both smell heavenly like almond oil, and the mix with Rooibos is nice. However, after having teas with other nuts (like hazelnut), I have found I am not such a big fan of almond.

Tastes like maraschino cherry and great for a cold day taken hot. Only downside is it coats your tongue and teeth if you make it strong. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.

I love this tea. It has a little nutty flavor and smell which can be a bit strange if this is your first nutty tea. I do find it is better hot then cold.

This is our favorite flavored rooibos that we have tried so far.

Very strong almond extract flavor to this which is a bit overpowering, but I enjoyed it!
