Rooibos has long been a favorite of mine, I love the warm earthy flavor and I can drink it any time day or night since it’s naturally caffeine free. The almond is a great compliment. It doesn’t need any sweetener, but I just love the combo of stevia and rooibos, adding stevia really brought the almond flavor out. This may be my new favorite.

This tea was very enjoyable with its nutty profile. It's adaptable to anything and us good with just some sweetner or if you want to add cream or even a flavored cream.

hate the smell. thought this was gonna be the first cup i ever had to pass up on, but with a bit of almond milk, vanilla, and rock sugar, ive managed to make it taste like...french toast?

almost wanna try it again on that alone. almost. maybe. some day.

Red rooibos is not my fav lately. I may try the turtle pecan version in a few weeks.

I had high hopes that the almond would overwhelm the rooibos flavor but alas, it did not.

I'm not a fan of red rooibos. But to be fair, the almond flavor minimized the sawdust taste from the rooibos. The almond made this tolerable; but this is not something I would care to sip again.

Was not a huge fan of the flavor profile today. Scent was very strong and the almond flavor was just ok to me.

not really partial to either almond or rooibos so I will give this one away!

Part of me wants to hate rooibos, but there is a bit of a nice touch to it. I didn't love this combo, but wasn't so bad I had to dump it. So right in the middle.

This is a smooth and calming tea. Nice to enjoy before bed. I drank it plain with no additional flavoring.

8 oz, 4 mins @ 195* F (blended with other teas), hot with cream and sweetener

I'm not a big fan of Rooibos unless it's blended like crazy mad. So, I blended this Rooibos Almond with Chestnut and Tiger Eye. IT turned out well, the Rooibos gave everything a nice woodsy base without stealing the show, I was surprised at how well the almond came through with the addition of Chestnut. This is a nice blending tea, but not one I'd drink solo.

This has a pleasant, sweet wood almost cigar tobacco aroma, with a hint of almond. There's more almond scent after steeping. The almond flavor came out better once it was cold. I think this would be good as an unsweetened iced tea.

I didn’t like the rooibos with the almond. The almond was by no means bad, it was wasn’t artificial tasting. I just wasn’t fond of the combo.

Delish and everything I hoped it would be. It's pretty straightforward: rooibos & almond but the combo packs a mighty punch. I absolutely love rooibos and honeybush tisanes so it's hard to go wrong here.

Really love this tea. It’s very tasty if you like a marzipan kind of flavor. I prefer to drink it with milk.

Sweet with a strong almond aroma they doesn’t overpower the taste buds, this is great to add flavor and decrease caffeine content to a pu-erh or lapsang souchang.

Rooibos Almond is wonderful. Naturally decaf, full of antioxidants, and the almond is like a rush of comfort for the senses. A perfect dessert tea with a little sugar or honey.

So Good! Only got a small bag because I wanted to try….but I Will be Reordering! Cold night, enjoying 2nd cup!

Smells like an almond cookie when you brew it. This is one of my favorite Adagio rooibos teas! The flavor isn't super strong, but it's yummy and you'll love it if you love almonds like I do!

★★★★★

I love almond flavor and rooibos is just a good tea. If you like both then this is a great tea. It’s not as robust and “mouth filling” with flavor like an intense black tea but it’s not so light you wonder if you didn’t brew the tea long enough like a green tea. I always reorder this.

The perfect blend for afternoon relaxing. The flavored rooibos teas are a part of my daily routine. You can mix it with a rooibos plain or fruit blend for variety.

It’s a drink for others, not for me. Sadly…..

This tea was okay. I am learning to eat different nuts but almonds and pecans are still not my choice. Rooibos is okay but not a huge draw for me. For a Rooibos lover or an almond lover this would be a good tea choice.

Tried this as part of Communitea and can only say that continued sampling of red rooibos only reaffirms this is not the tea for me. This version does have almond present but just too woodsy rooibos for it to be my cuppa. For those that do enjoy this tea, Happy Sipping!

didn't like this very much. rooibos needs very specific flavors with it to be able to work well, and almond is not one of them

A rooibos. The almond is not sufficient to make this tea anything more than just that.

This is more like marzipan versus a clean almond flavor, and leaning more to sweetness than almond also. I feel like the rooibos competed more in the flavor than I would have preferred. (212F for 5min)

The roiboos is a perfect complement to almond. It adds a nice, earthy profile to the almond, which also does well to amplify the nutty taste.

CommuniTEA portion: 5 minutes at 212. Wasn't a big fan of this but I might just be tasting the rooibos weirdly. The almond was a pleasant aroma though. Just a bit artificial at times. Fun to try though.

I expected a more nutty flavour but was pleased with how it tasted, more of a dessert rendition of almond like marzipan. I added sugar and milk to mine but tasted it without too and its a sweet pleasant tea by itself as well plus it brews a nice colour when in milk, very cozy

★★★★★

Yum yum yum YUM! The smell is pure marzipan right out of the package and smells just as strong when steeped. There is a slight menthol smell as well that really brightens it all up. I thought I would have to add a little sugar to get that marzipan flavor to really follow, but I was wrong. This was a liquid treat. A little milk and sugar could only make it more sinfully enjoyable. Perfect for dipping biscotti or as a guilt-free dessert tea.

This is a wonderful tea!! It smells divine, like a delicious desert. I really enjoyed rooibos almond by itself and wish I had more to make another cup. I had some of my CT packet steeped with chocolate chip tea (to make more tea for the whole morning out) and the flavor is unbelievable. I am sipping this hot with a little sugar and cream added to bring out the flavors. Wow!!! I can't wait to create a custom blend with these two teas in it. I plan to order some rooibos almond in my next order to enjoy more of this tea by itself. This should be a tea staple in my pantry from now on. Great tea, Adagio! 5 stars!

This is a wonderful cup of tea. As recommended, I brewed it long (10 minutes) and hot (212 degrees). The sweetness of the red rooibos is perfect with the almond...like the best almond cookie ever in a cup. I added nothing to the tea. Onto my Wish List it goes.

Very tasty! I really enjoyed the two elements together. The almond scent was super-strong upon opening the packet, but I loved it. It was much more delicate in flavour when steeped, but I think that worked well because it didn't overpower the rooibos and they complemented each other.

This tea has a nice almond marzipan flavor. But, rooibos is overwhelmingly the strongest flavor. For that reason, I’m out.

UPDATE from 10/18/21: The aroma coming out of the CommuniTEA packet is red rooibos with a hint of almond, although no actual almond pieces are present. This steeps into a bold red/orange amber color.
Tasting it, this warm earthy tea has a lovely sweet nutty flavor. Not too strong of spice, just the nicest balance of rooibos and almond flavor. It is sweet enough to drink plain. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener to 10 oz of tea makes this a sweeter marzipan treat. The finish is almondy yet very light on the tongue. This is a very lovely CAFFEINE FREE tea for fall, especially if you like almonds. (5 mins @212ºF).

I am a big fan of Adagio's almond teas - they have their plush, marzipan-sweet flavor down to a science. However, a rooibos base made this one way too sweet! I found it cloying and perfume-like. If you're a big fan of rooibos (I'm not) and super sweet teas, I would still recommend trying this one, but it's not for me.

This is a lovely dessert tea! The natural sweetness of the rooibos pairs perfectly with the almond and marizpan flavors. One of my favorite teas for sure!

In the bag: Just the rooibos leaves, thin and finely chopped.

On the nose (pre-steep): A cloying sweet cherry flavor is the dominant scent. No almond or rooibos. Straightforward.

On the nose (post-steep): Sweet cherry still takes center stage, though I now get a hint of almond. Still no rooibos.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Here, it's hard to tell if the flavor is more cherry or more almond - they seem to be the same note. A bit of rooibos has come though.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Overall flavor profile is the same with sweetener, though the cherry/almond note is fuller.

Opinion: A decent tea. I would never have guessed that this was an almond tea without knowing it in advance. The flavor is pleasant, though muted. Rooibos was a good choice for the base. Sweetener helps.

Preparation: 5 min @ 212 ℉, ½ tsp monk fruit sweetener

I’m being generous with four stars but I felt that the almond flavor is one of the best matches with red rooibos that I have tasted yet. I’m not a fan, wouldn’t buy it, but for those who really want to drink red rooibos, this is a good flavor. I steeped at 212 degrees for 5 minutes and strained the residual tea into a second cup before drinking. I added agave nectar because it didn’t taste sweet enough without anything added.
