I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. I think it would be good blended with other things, but on its own its kind of underwhelming. I think it needs some other herbs to balance the earthiness of the Honeybush.

Although this tea has a bit of artificial flavor for me when drank alone I could definitely see why it makes a phenomenon base tea for blends.

This is an amazing tea. It mixes well with almost any other flavor. Or is simply delicious on its own.

I liked this tea, smelled wonderful upon opening the packet. I did add a few rock-sugar crystals to it. While I liked it I know I would enjoy other honeybush blends better.

this was delicious- i think i like honeybush (and rooibos) the most when combined with sweet vanilla-family flavors or nutty flavors. very nice goodnight tea.

This is a very simple, one-note tea. I think this would be a better choice for a blend.

This tea embodies what you'd expect a vanilla-frosted cookie to taste like, and honeybush is such a smooth base for it. There's literally nothing I don't like about this tea.

Really smooth, comforting, tasty, basic tea. Was nice and strong on the vanilla.

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was met with warm aromas of vanilla. I steeped the tea for 5 minutes. The vanilla flavor of this tea is absolutely heavenly and is complimented so well by the honeybush base. This is a fabulous dessert tea that is immediately going on my wishlist!

It was neither good nor bad...but it's not something i'd reach for on its own. Perhaps in blends.

This tea is very good. I really enjoyed it but not quite enough to order a bag of it.

Honeybush has a wonderful flavor all on its own, but lately I've been trying the flavored teas. I'm glad I added this to my order. The vanilla is delicate and doesn't overpower what Honeybush already has to offer. I'll probably order this one again.

I enjoy blending this with rooibos vanilla, and sometimes rooibos caramel. Honeybush Vanilla on its own is very good too, but it tastes more vanilla-y when I combine it with the other two.

Nice gentle vanilla flavor, subtle sweetness. This is a great tea to blend in with others- for example, I use valerian root to help me sleep but the flavor is not pleasant on it's own- adding a pinch or two of this helps a lot!

In the bag, this tea has an almost bitter, woody smell. After steeping at the recommended temperature for the recommended time, the vanilla seems a bit noticeable. Without sweetener, I'm not sure that I taste much at all. It's fine, but not something I would crave. With about 1/4 tsp of sugar, it seems the same; with about 1/2 tsp of vanilla creamer it's better still. But I don't know that I would order this again if I wanted a nighttime herbal tea in my cabinet.

The honeybush vanilla is one of my favorite teas. It has a subtle sweetness that’s not overpowering. Great to sip on some day.

Update (12/29/23) - I've just discovered that this stuff is quite tasty with frothed milk, like a sort of honeybush cappucino. Neat!

With or without vanilla, I just like honeybush better than rooibos. It's smoother and toastier, and less 'medicinal' in flavor. With the vanilla added, it...wait, where's the vanilla? I can smell it in there, but I don't really taste it much... Ah well, whatever. It's good stuff!

I love this caffiene free tea for my cold winter nights, very relaxing, perect blend for a great cup of tea

Not much vanilla flavor however if you add just enough heaping teaspoons of honey, you'll get what you're looking for

So far all of the honeybush teas are wonderful. I love the lingering taste. Makes me feel like I've just had dessert! Will be ordering more.

This is my favorite of all hot or cold it is just the best to relax on a cold day or a warm night sitting on the porch

The wonderful smell of sweet vanilla and woody smell of rooibos caramel was coming from my packet as I opened it. Once brewed, my cup had a smooth, warm vanilla flavor in the forefront with the light roasted, woody, nutty and honey-like notes in the background. The result is a smooth, creamy drink, that evokes vanilla ice cream (if you have it warm).

BUY IT!!! BUY IT NOW!!
I drink this when I really want something sweet. I use blue agave nectar to sweeten it which makes it like a desert tea. Great for late nights (no caffeine).

I love the Honeybush teas. But, I was a little disappointed with just the vanilla by itself. The blueberry pancake and Banana nut are my absolute favorites. Maybe I've just been spoiled by the other two honeybush flavors, because they have so much flavor. This just felt a little plain to me.

This is a nice tea! I enjoy it every now and then in the evening when I feel like I need something a little sweet. I have blended this with Honeybush Banana Nut and it's even more delightful. Like having a cookie right before bed.

A wonderful introduction to honeybush teas for me. The scent alone is strong and pleasant but the flavor doesn't let down either. It is smooth and sweet (but not overly so), with the honeybush flavor coming in strongest and the vanilla adding just a little something extra. Perfect by itself, or with a little extra sugar if you are looking for a sweeter cup.

This is a decent honeybush blend, but not my favorite of what they offer. The vanilla flavor is not very strong and not present at all in the second steep

Delicious, warm flavor without the caffeine. I love that I can have this at night and still feel like I'm having a good, rich cup of tea.

A classic. Delicious. Notes of honey, vanilla, and general warmth make this tea very simple and comforting to drink. It's perfect when your palette isn't in the mood for some of the more complicated teas in your arsenal. I imagine this tea would taste incredible in some baked goods.

This is a great evening tea. I already love the vanilla black tea but was looking for something without caffeine to have later in the day. This is also a great accent with the different nut teas.

I have always loved honeybush and rooibos teas, and this is such a staple. I used to get the same tea at teavana, and it tastes exactly the same to me. I drink it with about a teaspoon of date syrup on the colder side and it is perfect.

Love the honeybush combined with vanilla. It is a delicious well balanced blend. I am looking forward to using this as a base to blend with other teas. What a sweet treat.

Honeybush is slightly sweeter than Rooibos. It's. a lovely caffeine-free alternative for the evening. I don't add anything to this tea since the vanilla adds a nice flavor to the natural sweetness of the tea.

I used this tea to create a blend and I wasn't disappointed. Honeybush vanilla is amazing, in blends. Oddly enough, I haven't yet tried it on it's own. I will have to remedy that as soon as I get more in my stash.

I used to shop at teavana way back and always remember this flavor and I’m happy to have found it again through adagio! It’s the same great tea :) Thank you!

Delicious, almost sweet-savory flavor. My 4-year-old daughter loves this caffeine-free option, and I like it too before bed.

I love honeybush tea! It's always such an uplifting, comforting cup. The vanilla honeybush has a mild but warm flavor. I'd buy it again!

Warm and comforting. An excellent choice for an afternoon tea but doesn't have the wow factor for me that some of the other honeybush blends have.

I picked up a bunch of rooibos and honeybush samples, having never tried either, and while rooibos may have to be an acquired taste this was an instant hit. None of the 'liquid woodchips' qualities of my first try with rooibos, just a mellow and faintly cookie-ish tea that I steeped three times before finally admitting I had probably used up that serving for the night. I'm trying them all unsweetened first, but a little honey would probably be an excellent match to emphasize the cookie qualities. I still have more to try, but this is already a very strong contender for what I'll go get more of!

This tea, to me, is similar to Decaf Cream. Nice mellow aroma and flavor. Not complex. Honeybush tea so not caffeinated.
