This tea is my daily cup. I love how smooth and fragrant it is.
Honeybush is a sibling of Rooibos, cultivated in South Africa's Eastern Cape region. Its flowers smell of honey, earning this plant a sweet name. Our honeybush is sweet, gently roasted and fuller-bodied than rooibos. Clean and refreshing.

This tea is my daily cup. I love how smooth and fragrant it is.
I was curious to try a straight up Honeybush alone as I’d only had previously in a blend with Rooibos. To me this tastes very wood and a little like burnt spice, I don’t seem to get the sweeter honey notes that others pick up. I read one of the reviews that recommended brewing for a longer period time, this definitely helps mellow the flavour out. Not one I’ll repurchase, but glad to have tried.
Not as complex as Rooibos, still has a depth and flavor that work well hot or iced.
A great base for a decaf cup or mix in with caffeinated teas for added depth and flavor.
Super great tea, with or with out honey! I love the rich flavor, it is one that I have had to steep longer though. It is one I drink almost everyday!
This is similar to the woodsy and nutty flavor of rooibos, but with a slightly sweeter honey flavor and aroma that makes it extra delicious. I love adding some milk and honey for a soothing cup at the end of the day. It's also a nice base for sweeter blends where you want a toasty honeyed undertone.
Not one of my favorites, but not horrible probably would not order again.
Always a rich flavored option that is very mellow
Nice flavor. Tobacco and slightly sweet. I don’t like this as much as the plain rooibos.
Smooth roasty flavor, but won't wow you after you've had some of their more creative flavors with this base, although that may be what some are after.
Had never heard of this but took other reviewers suggestions to mix with Red Rooibus and so happy I did!
Strong tea for thise wanting something a little more robust than plain rooibos.
This is a nice earthy and wooden tea. It's taste isn't overwhelming but I think I personally prefer the more sweeter and lighter taste of a rooibus. It was still nice to branch out and try this.
So good. The smell of honey is so inviting. Great when you want something sweet
Lovely raisiny smelling dry tea. The liquor is dark radish honey colored with a fruity earthy scent. The flavor is slightly floral with a long lasting sweetness like candied dates. This is by far the sweetest tea I have ever had, no sugar required.
Great on taste, and is fantastic hot or iced. Makes a good black tea substitute. No astringency detected here. I will need to see if it makes a good milk tea.
This tea is really comforting and perfect on a cold day.
I don’t think I have met a honey bush that I didn’t like. This one didn’t disappoint!
Sweet like honey but without all the sugar. It is not as sweet as rooibos but rather has a more nutty and earthy flavor.
The Honeybush tea has a deeper subtle flavor with a hint of sweetness. I found the tea to be rather calming and not dominating. A nice alternative nighttime tea to chamomile or mint.
If you want a great 'medium roast' flavor without the caffeine, this tea is awesome. It was just enough honey to sweeten the tea without adding extra sweetener. I love it with a dash of almond milk.
Surprisingly rich and flavorful for a herbal. Definitely has a distinct aroma and flavor. I'd recommend it if you didn't quite like rooibos.
It’s good, a bit sweeter tasting than roobios, but I think I like the flavor of roobios better.
This is simply a wonderful tea, alone or I have mixed it in with a couple of other flavors.
Not sure if I like this tea on its own as much as I enjoy it in a blend. Will have to taste a second time to decide for sure.
This is one of the best teas I have ever had. I haven't tried honeybush before, so I'm not sure how it compare to other brands, but I found the sweetness of it delicious.
It's outstanding both hot and iced.
Really liked this one and resteeped it another time. Nice different taste a good alternative to other herbals. Will get this again.
It really does have the essence of honey with every sip, a great alternative to caffeinated tea if you are trying to limit your intake
Didn't expect this flavor but it's a delicious alternative to regular rooibos!
My mom really liked this one though she prefers the Honeybush Vanilla.
Honeybusy is my favorite type of Rooibos. Tastes great on its own without any sweetener.
Very good tea. I think i prefer rooibos tea personally. I like the more assertive flavor. If you like rooibus but want a little more delicate sweetness this tea is for you.
I tried this for the first time as the flavor by itself. It is very smooth and tastes very honey-like and made my soul feel good. The more I drank this, the less I liked it.
So far this is my favorite Adagio tea .. simple and fresh tasting with a tad of sweet with adding anything.
Wow, a great caffeine free tea that is great to drink in the evening, healthy and tasty with a hint of sweetness.
Bought for a friend, they love it. Very giftable.
A perfect hot tea. Definitely on the sweeter side and smelled of honey.
Gentle sweetness and no caffeine, perfect if you think Rooibos is too earthy
Really great simple tea. Was recommended to try this because rooibos is my favourite type of tea. I don't think this would ever be a favourite tea of mine, nor would I repurchase it, but Im going to really enjoy what I have of it. There's just teas I prefer more to this one.
This is only okay. It needs more of a punch to make it stronger. I mixed the rest of this tea with my Honeybush Vanilla.
My favorite tea is rooibos and I was told this was just a sweeter rooibos so I was excited to try it. I was a little disappointed - I think regular rooibos is better. This is still a very nice smooth tea, though.
Nice simple tea. I usually blend this with another tea to bump up the flavor.
I enjoyed trying the honeybush. It reminded me of red tea, or rooibos, but not quite as strong. I preferred the honeybush with hazelnut for the nutty flavor. This was worth trying, but not something I d order over and over again.
Good tea! I enjoy having these many caffeine free options!
I found this cup to be rather surprising: I'm not usually one for tisanes, but the sweetness and delicacy of this infusion is absolutely wonderful as an evening palate-cleanser.
One of my favorites! Earthy fragrance, strong taste.
This is a pretty good base tea that genuinely seems to go well with everything. I ve tried it with blacks, greens, and rooibos, and it comes off as a very nice background for louder teas.
Finally I have found it! The best alternative to black tea- if you are craving a good old fashioned cup of tea with cream and sugar but can't have the caffeine, this is it! I like mine a bit strong, so I add a little more than recommended and steep slightly longer too. I think I like it better than black tea now.
I love this tea! It’s mellow and warm. No super strong flavors and everything blends really well together.
Solid standard to help create my own blends at home.
