I can't have just a straight cup of plain old tea anymore, now that I'm caffeine-free, but I don't want something flavored all the time. This is a wonderful tea to come home to when you just feel rotten and you need a friendly cup of tea without all the bells and whistles. Give it to me straight.

All of the honeybushes are simply amazing. I couldn't love it more.

I liked this well enough. Hints of honey and wood resin (cedar/redwood).

Honeybush is the perfect name for this one. Like others have said, sweet and warm and a little bit earthy. This is one of my favorites. Will definitely be ordering more.

I like this for adding to my travel steeper mug when I've already steeped a flavored honeybush or rooibos a few times, and the leaves I'm using need just a little more flavor added for one last steeping.

Love, love, love. Even my two year old finds this infusion delightful. Add a bit of honey to your cup and the natural honey flavor becomes even more pronounced.

Well balanced tea with a subtle sweetness to it. Perfect

I'm a huge fan of regular rooibos but this might have replaced it for good. Same great, warm flavor but without the metallic notes that I get from pure rooibos. I mix in a teaspoon of honey and it's the perfect comfort drink!
★★★★★
It has a good taste on it's own, sweet and earthy, but it's really good with Green Rooibos.

So sweet and mild and warm and woodsy, honeybush is a favorite in this household. You just have to be careful with your choice of tea ball or bag, as sometimes the pieces fall through

This was the first time I tried honeybush so I got one that was unflavored to see what it tasted like on its own. It's ok, but not something I'll order again. My friend liked it and said it would be a very good iced 'tea'. So I don't think it is bad, just not my thing. Slightly sweet, slightly medicinal, with an aroma that I couldn't really compare to anything I'd ever smelled before.

Not as unpleasant as rooibos but isn't much better.

Interesting. Definitely earns its name. This is nice but I prefer rooibos. Will try mixing them.

Better than (Rooibos). Flavour is softer, sweeter, more complex, and contains less of the funk of (Rooibos). Honey is a good descriptor. Probably the most interesting non tea selection here, and moderately priced at that.

Honeybush is a nice sweet alternative to rooibos, but I find it still has that metallic tang characteristic of rooibos - not my thing.
★★★★☆
The honeybush tea is a solid tea, but I do enjoy the apricot and vanilla honeybush teas a bit more.

Tastes okay... will probably use it to mix with other teas.

I'm beginning to realize that I don't particularly care for rooibos tea, sadly. There's a medicinal quality to regular rooibos that I don't particularly care for. This was, however, one of the more palatable rooibos varieties I've tried. The aroma has a bit of a medicinal/licorice scent that I find somewhat off-putting, as I personally cannot stand black licorice. However, the flavor is nice, mellower than regular rooibos, woody, and just a little sweet. If only I could get past the smell, I think I would really enjoy this tea.

Wonderful! I got a sample of this tea to try after my store-bought teabag kind (possibly Tazo?) ran out, and I was not disappointed! The adagio honeybush was just lovely, sweet and with a beautiful color.

Delicious. I only ordered a small sample pack -- now I'm wishing I'd gone for a whole tin!

I am not in love with this tea but it serves as a very nice alternative to my strong black teas that I usually drink. When brewed, it is a nice red color, and has just enough of a sweet node to keep me interested. I think, overall, that this tea will shine in blends.

This tea smells great in the bag,it has a very sweet smell to it..once steeped tho it smells like a bit like a damp forest..now I love that smell but idk about it in a tea.as for the taste its slightly sweet but not all that much it tastes a bit like warm honey once it hits ur taste buds then quickly fads to nothing but hot water with a hint of something u cant quite fully grasp.i'm sure it's a great mix in so im gonna try that.note:if you have one of the peronalitea tea pots some bits will get through the infuser and end up in your cup.

This tea is very much so a comforting one. I tried it a while back at a cafe and fell in love with how this tea tasted. kind of woodsy and with a mellow citrusy after taste. It's great brewed both softer and stronger.

Got this as a free sample with an order and I absolutely love it!
It's earthy and just a little sweeter than rooibos, making it versatile enough to drink plain, or dressed up with honey, lemon, milk or anything else that strikes your fancy.
★★★★☆
Good flavor...especially with a little honey.I needed a bit more than a teaspoon of tea though.
★★★★☆
Pleasantly sweet and smooth. Good tea for relaxation.
★★★★★
I enjoy honeybush best as base for my proprietary naturally caffeine-free chai!

This tea had a great smell and a really smooth quality to it. I've never had honeybush and I really liked this one. To me it tasted really fresh but also kind of earthy. It tasted great heated but I also really enjoyed it once it cooled and wasn't hot.

It's alright, but I'm not very fond of the almost 'peppery' flavor I taste.

Can't quite tell what the flavor is like, kind of honeyish and a little like rooibos, but very good.

Enjoyed the taste of this one. I am looking forward to more of this tea!

A very similar flavor to rooibos, but different at the same time, If you enjoy rooibos then Honeybush is definitely your cup of tea!
★★★★★
Honeybush is just slightly sweeter than the rooibos tea, but is a great summer tea hot or cold!
★★★☆☆
Earthy with a touch of sweetness. It’s a little astringent. Very woody. It’s really kind of one note. The aroma is slightly floral and might be nice to combine with other teas. I don’t hate it but I don’t really like it either. It is somewhat improved when iced.

Where Rooibos is lightly sweet and fruity, Honeybush is a stronger, bolder version. It has a woodier, earthier flavor and would make a good analog for blenders looking for those qualities in a caffeine-free tea. I love it and will definitely be getting it again!

I've known honeybush for years, it has such a wonderful sweet taste to it. I think it's been over 30 yrs when I received honeybush tea for the first time as a gift from my friend in South Africa. I never forgot about it and years later I researched it and found it again. I am so glad I did! And thanks to that wonderful friend!
★★★★☆
Honeybush is similar to rooibos, but less earthy and complex, and much sweeter and simpler. It sort of tastes like hibiscus.

I got into rooibos recently and am severely hooked, so I had to try some of this. Adding some honey to the cup is what makes this flavor shine. It's delicate and slightly sweet, and just very relaxing overall. Will absolutely buy this again.

This is a very smooth, silky red. It's very sophisticated and calm, yet rich and slightly creamy. Good by itself and also useful as a base for blends.

Like a sweeter version of rooibos, very warm and flavorful. I like it with agave nectar too.

It very unexpectedly smelled like black olives at first, but thankfully didn't taste like it. ^_^

This is simply a very nice red tea. The difference in honeybush and rooibos is subtle, but I certainly prefer the honeybush. The taste is a little more rounded. I'm not even sure how to describe it, it tastes more complex and more expensive. For me it is worth the additional cost.
★★★☆☆
It's a fairly light flavor, or I have to steep it for awhile. Honeybush always sort of tastes like wood to me. It's kind of sweet and calming though, and it's good mixed with chamomile.

I like this quite a bit more than the rooibos. It has the same woody character but less of the medicinal quality that made me think twice about pouring a second cup of rooibos.

I have decided thsat this is a pretty good tea to use as a sweetener for other teas. Stand alone I find this to be wanting but as something to blend with other teas is is easily a favorite. I like this better than the traditionally processed rooibos. It sort of surprised me that I was never introduced to it during my time in the Peace Corps in the southern areas of Africa. That is where I started drinking 'Red Tea' in the first place.

I was not sure what to expect when I ordered honeybush, but after trying it I can say that it has a lot of similar qualities to red rooibos. I'm not sure whether I prefer honeybush or rooibos but I'm glad I tried both of them, and I'm interested in combining honeybush with green rooibos. If you like plain red rooibos definitely try honeybush!

This tea didn't taste as great as I expected. It is sweet and woody and pleasant. I expected the sweetness to be more prominent. I think I prefer rooibos. But honeybush is good! I'll try it with vanilla next time.

This was a free sample option which is why I took a chance on it. It smells pleasant in the bag, and has a light honey taste when brewed but I could not get past the scent when brewed. It smelled like mulch to me.
