I just couldn't seem to enjoy this one. The flavor never quite worked for me.
Naturally honeyed and delicately toasty Honeybush herb from South Africa with lush, softly floral mango.

I just couldn't seem to enjoy this one. The flavor never quite worked for me.
The mango flavor is much stronger in this tea than in some of Adagio's other mango-flavored varieties; probably in part due to the nature of the base tea, which allows for a much longer, hotter steep than others. I find it a bit perfumey, but in a good way; this is one of my spring seasonal go-to teas in the evening, when I'm avoiding caffeine. I'll usually add a drop of sucralose to enhance the fruit flavor, but sometimes I enjoy a more honeybush-front experience and don't sweeten it.
Fruity mango aromas wafted out of the CommuniTEA packet. A full herbal steep for 7 mins at 212ºF produced a translucent semi-burnt orange colored tisane.
Hints of mango peel aromatics meld with the natural bee pollen flavors from the honeybush. Honeyed nectar flavors miix and mingle with fruit notes of mango. The mango flavor is light and like the unsweetened essence of dried mango. There are no 'off' flavors or aromas in this sample packet when compared to the other rooibos mango blends I've tried. Honeybush also brings some light nutty character for a calming brew.
This honeybush really enhances and works well with the mango to form this zero caffeine blend. Perfect for a smooth and tropical nighttime refresher!
It tastes a little medicine-like to me, though the apples and mangos salvage it. It's like a slightly synthetic oatmeal mix with very little sugar, and if you enjoy a Honeybush blend, this will be great for you. It just might not be ideal for me!
This tea is very good out of all the mango teas we've tried recently this is my favorite. Very nice cup, love that it's decaf
It was okay. Nothing special about it that made it stand out.
On opening the Communitea packet I knew there was a WOW mango treat inside. Had it iced in the afternoon, and immediately put it on my must-have-for-the-pantry list.
A mild somewhat bland tasting mango tea. (5 mins @ 212°F)
The toasted, sweet flavor of the honeybush mingles with the naturally sweet, juicy flavor of the mango sooooo well in this tea. Pleasant tea on its own, but the mango flavor brightens a bit more with a touch of honey added. Lovely balance of flavors with neither one of them trying to dominate the other. This tea is yummy hot, but I could see it being so good cold. I just couldn’t wait for mine to cool enough to try it. Steeped at 212º for 5 mins.
A nice light tea with a gentle fruitiness. Didn't have as much time to sip and savor my CommunTea sample so only tasted warm. Seems like it would be refreshing iced.
The Honeybush Mango tea has a rich, sweet aroma while steeping. You can definitely taste the mango notes in this tea. No sweetener is needed. It is delicious hot, but tastes equally good iced. A nice fruity blend to drink year-round.
This was my first foray into honeybush tea and it was a very pleasant experience indeed. I enjoyed it both warm and cooled, but could have used more mango pieces. As it was, the apple pieces were more prevalent. Thanks for the new taste experience, one of the reasons I love CommuniTEA!
I will start with I love both honeybush and rooibos teas. This is no exception. For me it tastes great hot and cold.
This gets a 4 instead of 5 only because I couldn’t really identify the mango. The taste of the tea itself was lightly fruity, and a nice sip. I’d happily have it again at a friend’s house.
I steeped this tea for 5 minutes at 212F. When hot I didn't get much mango taste. When it was cold, I also didn't taste mango. I think this tea tasted most mango-y at room temperature. Room temperature tea is not exactly satisfying.
I didn't think this tea needed any sugar because the honeybush tea is naturally sweet.
I brewed my CommuniTEA packet and placed in the fridge to cool. The honeybush was such a perfect mate for the mango. The flavor is slightly “perfumy”, but it worked for me. Happy sipping!
I wasn’t a fan of this blend. It tasted almost soapy to me.
This is very subdued. I steeped it for 7 minutes just to make sure that it was fully steeped. It wasn't flavorful in the sense of mango. Wasn't as grassy like it normally it with any rooibos/red bush family
Dry tea smells like mango. I spy a few apple pieces and marigold flowers among the honeybush leaves. Once brewed, the resulting cup is a dark brown with a strong mango scent. When hot, there were mild mango notes. As the tea cooled, the honeybush flavor is more noticeable supporting the light mango flavors. The flavors are subtle but sweet. The sweet flavor lingers into the finish. This is a nice caffeine-free sip if you're in the mood for a sweet drink. Brewed at 212 for 5 minutes.
This is a nice mango tea, though I could do without the floral taste from the marigolds.
The honeybush added a slightly earthy and woody tone to the fruitiness of this tea. The natural sweetness meant that I did not have to add any additional sweeteners to it. I'm not sure what the marigold petals added, but that could be due to my naturally lower sense of taste and smell (which is also why I have to steep my teas for about 30 minutes to get them the strength I want). (5 stars)
UPDATE: I made this again and was disappointed. I think I may not have stirred this up enough the first time I made it since the smaller pieces like to migrate to the bottom, and so I got a bunch of fruit pieces the first time. The second time I scooped out mostly honeybush, and the fruity flavour was not as strong. It tasted kind of woody. I think this tea could use a greater percentage of apple and mango pieces. It's still good, even though the fruit flavours are not as strong as they could be. (4 stars)
I love the honeybush tea to begin with, but adding the mango and apple brings a slight fruity taste. Not overpowering at all. I tend to drink teas without any additions. This one is great on its own.
212 degrees 5 minutes. Soft toasted hay flavor of honeybush is a pleasant base for fruity mango. Nice afternoon tea 🍵
Honeybush teas are some of my favorites, and this does not disappoint.
I wish I could smell the scent that came out of the packet 24/7. So sweet and fruity! I love honeybush, it brews into a little more viscousy mouthfeel, and it's anything but watery.
This tea is so full of mango fruity goodness. I added a bit of sugar, and it felt like I was drinking a dessert.

Love that this tea is decaf so I can enjoy it in the evening. The mango flavor was a little faint but rounded out the cup.
Great tea enjoy it little mango taste, just right (212 5min). This would be great if you want cup of tea late in the day. ☕️🫖
I liked this! It has strong, juicy mango flavor that meshes well with the honeybush. This would be amazing iced as a caffeine free alternative.
I love the sweetness of honeybush. And no caffeine? That's just a bonus for me! The mango flavor is just right. It doesn't taste artificial or cloying. The tea almost has a creamy consistency, so I didn't feel the need to add milk or honey. I thought it was scrumptious on its own. Drink this and have a mangotastic caffeine free delight! Happy Sipping!
I would have liked more mango flavor. I like other honey bush teas, maybe my sample didn't have enough fruit for my liking.
Another fruit tea I like! I may have to change my highly over-generalized disdain for fruity teas. A nice healthy flavor of mango but not overpowering and certainly not overly sweet.
I really enjoyed the Mango addition with honeybush.
I would rate this tea a 9/10
Perfect delicious summer tea!
This is a surprise given my review of rooibos mango. But Honeybush is just a slight improvement. I still prefer Mango Mate, but this is a little better than the Mango Green. Maybe I overbrewed the others thus the lesser reviews. This probably won't be on my shopping list anytime soon, but great otherwise.
I like mango, I just don't like honeybush, even in blends.
A nice sweetness that will brighten any morning! Mango is not too strong thanks to the pairing of the honeybush. Wafting the scent towards me as it steeped put a smile on my face<3
19 Dec 2020 review: Plenty of fruity aromas were noted from my communiTEA packet. One lone apple piece and a few small mango pieces were noted. A whole fleet of marigold petals appeared to be getting ready for flight ... so on we went.
When hot, I was presented with a stately looking dark red brew. Mild mango flavors were noted. I added some sugar to bring out more fruity flavors.
When warm, the mango flavoring & honeybush combined their efforts to produce moderate and sweet juicy mango flavors. The marigold provided some mild citrusy notes in the background.
I think this one was as advertised and a very pleasant morning sip. A second steep was slightly milder, but still flavorful. (5 mins @ 212ºF, 3/8 tsp sugar)
This is an interesting blend - very smooth and not bitter. It is great iced. Not something I would usually choose, but that's why the ComunniTEA is so fun! It pushes you out of your comfort zone.
This combination is sweet and fruity, but I can’t say that I would pinpoint the flavor as mango. The honeybush and the fruity flavor blend together to form an unusual flavor that, I have to admit, doesn’t seem suitable in tea. I swear, it reminds me of bubble gum. This is not a tea to sweeten; it’s enough on its own.
CommuniTEA Sample: It's official. I like Honeybush a LOT more than it's cousin, Rooibos. This is a nice, light tea that is great to enjoy in the evenings when you want a fruity drink, but no caffeine. The Mango flavor is pretty light, but is definitely there. Overall, a very nice tea.
Lovely fragrance and taste! Great mango scent as I opened my packet. The taste is lighter after brewing but still present. Nicely mellow and sweet. Not overdone. Just perfect. Enjoyable hot and cold. Nice tea!
Yummy rooibos and mango flavor. The rooibos is strong and the mango is assertive enough to be noticed.
Soft, gentle, and sweet;
A relaxing mango tea
I would write more…but…
Yawn…so relaxing…
Eyes are getting so heavy…
So hard to type…zzzzz

I like honeybush and I like mangoes so yum all around.
This was wonderful iced! I was able to steep it twice and I drank it iced both times. I tasted the sweetness from the honeybush. The mango stood out and blended very well with the honeybush. This is a tea I plan to keep on hand. I shared this with a friend and she enjoyed it also.
Normally I just take a regular scoop for a standard cup with the CommuniTEA packets but today I just went for it and did the entire packet for one cup. And oh BOY was it fragrant. Brewed at 212 for the full 5 minutes, this was stronger on the honeybush than the mango but it was still a nice cup.
Great tea!
Mango goes so well with honeybush. Well balanced flavor, sweet all on its own. It’s nice to have another tea to add to my caffeine free list. 200° for 5 minutes.
Divine cup of tea.Really enjoying the mango flavor mingling with the sweetness of the honey bush tea. No need for sweetener, it is like a mango desert in a cup.
Like every other honeybush tea I have tried through Adagio, this one is lovely and comforting. Naturally sweet, a little toasty, and very smooth. It tasted fruity, but not necessarily mango. On the second steep I added a few bits of rock sugar and that seemed to bring out more of a mango flavor. Either way, a tasty cup. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 5 min @ 212F)
