It's nice. hoenybush is really honey, and the hazelnut is nice. Overall it's just... nice. Not my favorite, but maybe if i need decaf.
Mellow, sweet-toasty flavor of Honeybush herb from South Africa with hazelnuts. Creamy, cozy and nutty.

Honeybush tea is good. Hazelnuts are good. Together they are great! Cream and sugar are not required to enjoy this blend but they do complement and enhance it.
Smells like hazelnut coffee. It is a perfectly blended tea. I am putting it on my staple list.
CommuniTEA portion: 212 for 5 minutes. I had never experienced honeybush tea until Adagio, and frankly I just love it! The subtle sweetness of the honeybush pairs so well with the nutty hazelnut. The aroma of this packet was fantastic and the match of these two flavors was thumbs up all the way!
Hazelnut is a good complement for the Honeybush tea. To me, the nutty flavor of Honeybush enhanced the nuttiness of the Hazlenut flavoring. I would not rave about this cup, but I did enjoy it.
212 for 5min.
This was a good tea. The nut flavoring went well with the Honeybush, but the flavor of the Honeybush is still weird to me. It tastes off.
This is a delicious, non-fussy caffeine free tea. Smooth, nutty and earthy. No additives needed, but I’m sure almost anything milk-or sugar- related would go well. Excellent for hazelnut lovers like me!
Prominent hazelnut flavor, with just a touch of sweetness from the honeybush to blend and mellow. Liquor was interesting: as dark as a light roast coffee.
A lovely honeybush blend with a bit of nuttiness.
I brewed this tea for five minutes at 212. It is not a favorite. I like honeybush but am not a hazelnut fan. I did not pour it down the drain, but I will not be ordering it.
This tea is nice but I do wish it was a bit more complex. I can taste the hazelnut and a bit of sweetness from the honeybush and I do like that it is decaf.
November 17th, 2022 CommuniTea. This reminded me of banana nut bread when I opened the packet, though it doesn’t quite taste of it. It is a delicious tea that I have a hard time describing. Perfect for when you want a warm tasty drink, but not any caffeine.
I don’t think I let mine steep long enough. I’m not a huge fan of honeybush, and I think I under steeped this one in an attempt to avoid too strong of a honeybush flavor, but in doing so it was overall bland. I think all the flavors going into this one are mild, so it really needs the proper steep, but also you need to like honeybush.
Very aromatic and sweet! Plenty delicious by itself, and great for autumn weather.
UPDATED 11-17-22: Today's CommuniTEA is Honeybush Hazelnut. I added some cocoa nibs and chocolate honey this time. It was pleasantly sweet, a little nutty, and very good! I would still highly recommend this tea!
ORIGINAL: I brewed my Honeybush Hazelnut hot with some rock sugar, It was absolutely divine! So sweet, so hazelnutty, and had an absolutely wonderful smell! I would highly recommend this tea!
This one is a perfect fall sip; it’s so cozy and warm. The honeybush and hazelnut are a wonderful marriage of smooth, rich flavors. This cup doesn’t hit you over the head with hazelnut, so if you want a more pronounced flavored tea, I would look elsewhere. However, if you want a light flavored sip with no caffeine to sip around the fire, put Honeybush Hazelnut in your cart! Happy Sipping!
Like a ferrero rocher chocolate without the calories. Would recommend if u like nuts or nuttella spread.
UPDATED from 3/27/21: Nutty aroma meets my nose as the CommuniTea packet opens and it steeps into a lovely honeybush amber. It is such a rich toasty flavor combined with nuttiness. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) brings out the natural sweetness. Adding a little heavy whipping cream makes this taste like a delicious torte (the many layered egg and nut cake my husband’s aunt would bake for me). I really like the honeybush and rooibos teas - they never get bitter, no matter how long you steep them. This one is very nice alone and blends well with other teas, too. (5 mins @ 212 ºF + sweetener and cream).
I enjoyed this tea more than I thought I would. The honeybush and hazelnut flavors go really well together. I steeped at 212 degrees for 5 minutes and added rock sugar.
Yes, yes, yes ... love it! Delicious flavor. Add a little sugar and you have dessert in a cup.
In the bag: Just the honeybush. Finely chopped leaves ranging from reddish-brown to black.
On the nose (pre-steep): A smooth hazelnut scent. Presented on its own like this, it's easier to appreciate the flavor's nuances. There are woody notes here that I don't find when other additives get in the way.
On the nose (post-steep): The hazelnut scent is quite faint and is still a solo act. Clean texture, mild intensity.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): The taste of Honeybush is here for the first time. It might even be stronger than the hazelnut. It lends a creamier mouthfeel than that of rooibos.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): No change from pre-sweetener.
Opinion: A pleasant tea, but a simple one. I'm not sure hazelnut is best on its own like this - it might need a supporting cast.
Preparation: 7 min @ 212 ℉, ½ tsp monk fruit sweetener
One of the best honeybush teas I have tried. Simple and delicious. This will be a regular player at my house.
The sweetness of the honeybush compliments the hazelnut flavor perfectly. This tea is great on its own or in blends. Yum!
Really liked this blend. Very sweet and delightful with a pleasant smell.
Not too bad… if you’re looking for just a hazelnut blend, this one is very good. I like the honeybush more than the black.
I’ve discovered through the Communitea that I like honey bush teas and hazelnut too. This was a sweet smooth cup of yum. My cup seemed to be very light on the hazelnut today. I added just a touch of honey to try to bring it forward. It’s a nice gentle cup great for evening sipping. Perfect for blending too.
Honeybush and hazelnut. How can you go wrong? Slightly sweet and roasted nuts. Delightful.
This was a nice before-bed tea. A nice flavor with a hint of sweetness.
The nutty aroma pairs well with the woody honeybush. Unlike red rooibos, which tastes heavily medicinal to me (think cough syrup). Honeybush is milder, and has a delicate honey-like undertone. I drink this straight while warm/hot. I recommend this as a coffee alternative or dessert tea. No, it doesn’t taste quite like coffee, but the roasted and woody aroma is rich and satisfying, provided you use an adequate amount of tea leaves! I use a heaping tbsp for ~480 ml.
I am obsessed with the Honeybush Hazelnut. With a little milk and sugar, it is like dessert to me. The rich hazelnut has me in the holiday mood.
Not very nice, surprisingly. Another hazelnut tea I tried tasted a little like cheese for some reason and so did this, it's very odd. (Cold brewed for 10 hours)
I'm not the biggest fan of hazelnut, but I do love this! I tend to mix it with Thai Chai or Gingerbred to enhance their flavors, but it's still absolutely fine on it's own!
I love this with some honey and a splash of cream. Such a creamy, smooth, and mellow tea. Makes a great afternoon & evening cup.
Interesting flavor. I definitely get the hazelnut but I also get another flavor that reminds me of toasted rice.
One of my favorites! Gentle, sweet but not unnaturally so. Liked a nice sweet baked loaf, and a lovely afternoon snack or dessert tea.
Wish the hazelnut was stronger than the honeybush, but it's a fine decaf option for evenings. Really a 3.5, it's not a bad tea at all.
Excellent warm fall tea. I love hazelnut and pairing it with rooibos is great.
Was very good will probably order it again.
Was happy my mom liked it too pretty sure she will buy more too
Very nice naturally sweet tea and a lovely hazelnut flavor. It’s good alone, but I have been using it in experimental tea blends, which is where it really shines.
Light nutty flavor, would prefer a stronger nut flavor. Next time would let it steep longer than recommended & add a teaspoon of sugar
If you like honeybush teas, and you're a fan of hazelnut flavors, you'll enjoy this.
A delightful after dinner drink to satisfy a sweet tooth.
Great Hazelnut flavor that pairs very well with a small amount of oatmilk or nextmilk. I don't usually add any milk/cream to tea or coffee but this blend practically cries out for the accompaniment.
Honey sweet honeybush, what almost tastes like an undercurrent of vanilla somewhere in it, and hazelnut - what's not to love?
Delicious caffeine-free option for a dessert tea at night.
Oh man ..is this delicious. I could have some every single day! I probably will!
Delicious tea by itself but also yummy to blend with others. I added a little to blueberry pancake and pecan turtle. Wow! Who knew they could be even more delicious!
I like this tea but it isn’t my favorite. The hazelnut isn’t as pronounced as I’d like. I like the honeybush aspect of it though.
Did not enjoy the smell of this one. I love hobeybush teas, but this one I was not a fan of.
I primarily use this for mixing with other teas to give them a little nuttiness. It's a nice addition to the Kentucky Bourbon and to confectionary-leaning teas. Some rooibos come out far too strong on the woody side, but in this one the hazelnut is more prominent. It's smooth and pleasant to drink and provides nice body when mixed with other teas.
