I expected to be tapping the 'hated it' button with my CommuniTea sample, but to my surprise I really enjoyed it! It needed no sweetner, just a splash of almond milk. The chocolate is subtle, like a mild hot cocoa. Hmmm🤔wonder if I have any mini marshmallows?

Freely admit, I was hoping for a fantastic taste just from the description. Sure enough, this is AMAZING. I will definitely have to order more after having this sample from the CommuniTEA box!

I usually hate chocolate teas, so this was quite surprising! I think I really loved it because the chocolate flavor is so light, it tastes almost like a toasty chocolate coffee. Its something that I really enjoy!

★★★★★

Amazing! This is the best chocolate tea that I have ever had. The black chocolate tea is great, but this is a million times better!

I was rather skeptical when I saw the ingredients for this. I don't tend to like chocolate flavored teas. I find them to be rather weak, or way overpowering. This is also the first time I've ever had honeybush! So I had no idea what this was supposed to taste like. I looked at all of the recommendations that you add sugar and milk, so I brewed it per instructions to 212° for 5 minutes, added one packet of sugar, and 1/4 of a cup of unsweetened soy milk. This made a delightful creamy chocolaty drink. It wasn't enough like hot chocolate, but it reminded me of a chocolate Mexican corn drink I had in high school for Dia de los Muertos. This was similar in that taste. I would be open to trying this again, but I don't think this would be a tea that I reach for except when I feel like having something desserty and sweet. I do want to give honeybush more of a try though after tasting this. I think I actually like it better than rooibos!

Mild taste of chocolate with a nice added sweetness from the honeybush. My packet had a good distribution of honeybush and cocoa nibs. I drank it lukewarm because I forgot I had made tea, so I think I would have enjoyed it a bit hotter. Not a showstopper but definitely a nice solid blend that I'd drink again.

Delicious! I don't like choc flavored teas and coffees, but this is wonderful. I purchased some!

5 stars on this one. Loved the aroma when i opened my packet. I really enjoyed this tea but I drank it too fast...dang. Just a perfect amount of chocolate, not overwhelming. Will definitely add this to my favorites.

Delicious tea! I added a tiny bit of sugar and I can imagine it will also work with a little bit of milk. Not a very strong chocolate flavor.

★★★★☆

It tasted good both with and without creamer. Not as much of a chocolate flavor as some I have had, but a good caffeine free option.

I’m usually not a fan of chocolate in tea but this was better than expected.

★★★★★

I love the combination of honeybush and chocolate in this tea. The chocolate flavor is subtle enough where you get a taste of it at the end of the sip. Drank this with no added sugar or cream. Yum!

This is a really great caffeine-free chocolate tea. Sweeter than the chocolate flavored black teas, but I'd say the weakest chocolate flavor in a side by side comparison with chocolate and chocolate chip. But since I'm trying to cut down on caffeine, this is a go-to for me!

I generally love honeybush teas anyway, but I'm loving this. On its own, this tea is a little bland, and by that, I mean I'm generally a naked tea drinker. I don't keep cream, but if I did, I can see that really bringing out the flavor. I did drop in a piece of rock sugar and that definitely brought out the chocolate flavor. All in all, this is a good tea if you're good with putting in cream and/or sugar and it's lovely in blends, but on its own...eh. Not bad, but nowhere near as strong a flavor as the incredible smell.

★★★★★

With a bit of cream it reminds me of a rich desert. The smell is amazing, the tea is rich and creamy and it has a slight smokey flavor from the honey bush. This tea is definitely going to my favorite list so I can enjoy it on a cold night.

When I opened the bag I got a very Amaretto smell. Pleasant enough. The brewed tea is very nice flavoured, well rounded tea. Not something I will get again given that I often get a headache from honeybush teas but still a nice tea. If you like honeybush this will be a great tea.

This tastes similar to a very weak hot chocolate. Nice with some vanilla milk.

Honeybush AND chocolate? I love them both an couldn’t wait to try the combo in my CommuniTea. Today’s sampler didn’t disappoint-warm & cozy, and a lovely smell in my kitchen this morning-nice!

This is really good. I made it into a latte by adding unsweetwned vanilla almond milk and stevia.

★★★★★

Tastes like hot coco. I'm liking it, and it really hits that chocolate craving.

The chocolate is subtle, but quite lovely. I will definitely be getting more!

This was a fun change of routine, but the chocolate flavor doesn't quite hold its own against the all-encompassing presence of honeybush. The results are somewhat dull but still worth a try.

★★★★★

What a magnificent tea! It is like drinking dessert if you add a little honey and some half and half. I may or may not have topped mine with whipped cream to mimic an ice cream sundae!

★★★★☆

This tea had a pleasing, subtle chocolate flavor that nicely complemented the honeybush notes.

★★★★★

This tea was so amazing that I made a cup and then made a whole pot. It was smooth and delightful and had a mild flavor. I immediately went from a sample to a big bag. Yum.

Light chocolate nose, and honeybush taste with a touch of chocolate if I think really hard about it. Wish this had more flavor!

Sweet, but not overly like some flavired rooibos. Pairs well with desserts.

When I was reading through reviews, I was expecting a really good chocolate tea. This did not meet any expectations. I barely taste any chocolate, and I'm just not crazy about the flavor of the tea in general. I will definitely not purchase this tea again.

I never had honeybush before and like how smooth it tastes. I wouldn’t say this tastes a lot like chocolate but it’s still a nice blend.

★★★☆☆

I find I didn't like this one too much, but i think i just don't care for chocolate in my tea.

★★★★☆

A lovely balance of sweet flavors, this is definitely going to become a standby for me. It's on the light side for a black tea, but the honey and chocolate notes make it full-bodied regardless.

★★★★★

A sweet chocolate tea that is a caffeine free nighttime treat.

This tea tastes amazing, especially with a little bit of sugar and almond milk in it!

Rich, roasty, chocolaty flavour! This is a lovely evening dessert drink for when caffeine won't do. I like it best with some almond milk and just a touch of agave nectar.

Surprisingly tasty! I'm not a Honeybush Vanilla fan and figured it might be the honeybush, but decided to try this out and I love it. Add it in with some chai and you get a delicious chocolate spice blend!
