I LOVE this tea! In the bag, smells like creamy milk chocolate. Brewed, smells like chocolate. I tasted it hot and cold. Hot, it has a mild milk chocolate flavor with honeybush (and I love honeybush). Honestly, to me, it tastes almost like Nutella. It's delicious. Cold, the honeybush comes out more, and the chocolate is even milder. But, I mean, NUTELLA! Of course it's delicious if it tastes almost like Nutella. I will try this with the hazelnut honeybush, and maybe add some of the vanilla one as well and see if I can actually get eve closer to a Nutella tea flavor. Just, delicious. Try it.

Chocolate in a cup! One of my new favorite teas...totally takes care of my chocolate cravings while I’m on keto!

★★★★★

This is going to be my go-to dessert tea from now on. Delicious chocolate flavor and totally caffeine free. Highly recommended to add sugar and cream for an almost 'hot chocolate' experience.

This is such a pleasant, lightly sweet tea. It tastes more like a chocolate syrup flavor, which is delicious

This one is absolutely perfect. Taste so good. I'll be drinking this one often

Calling this 'Chocolate' is a bit of a stretch. I suppose there might be a SLIGHT chocolate aftertaste - if you concentrate on it. Honeybush is a strong flavor by itself so any added flavor has a lot of competition. This is still a good tea, but if you're a 'chocolate person', don't get you expectations up.

Enjoy this herbal tea with Carmel smoothness and chocolate flavor.

★★★★☆

I like strong flavor in my tea! I can smell the chocolate but i can't really taste it!

★★★★★

One of my favorites. The chocolate flavor really shines. Great for when you are looking for a treat but don't want the calories. This one is great with or without milk.

All of the honey bush teas are really good. This has a very subtle chocolate flavor, which compliments the honeybush nicely.

This is my first time writing a review on Adiago, so bear with me! This tea was very lovely, a nice warm treat. I added some half and half and a little white sugar, and that lead to it being very tasty and dare I say yummy. Overall a great tea I’m glad I ordered! (I think if I adjusted the heat of the water and time of steeping it might have turned out better though, as it was the flavors weren’t super complex. I didn’t monitor the heat or time though, so I can’t blame the tea for that)

This is by far my favorite 'before bed' cup of tea. I personally add a teaspoon of monkfruit sweetener, and a splash of oat milk creamer, and it's divine!

Rather a disappointment. There was no real chocolate taste to be found.

Oh this is soooooooo good. I m drinking it right now. It s such a wonderful treat.

the chocolate flavor was very fake tasting. didnt hit the dessert spot either.

I was hoping for a stronger chocolate flavour, I found it a bit lacking in that area.

★★★★☆

I think this is a pretty good brew. I wish the chocolate flavor was more pronounced like some of Adagio's caffeinated options are. But when it comes to caffeine-free options, this one still hits the spot for my chocolate cravings.

Really don’t know what to say about this. I love the smell when I open the bag but after 2 cups I wasn’t getting the chocolate flavor everyone is talking about.

Very nice tea for cold evenings. With a little bit of sweetener it's a real treat.

★★★★☆

Yummy!! Nice chocolate flavor. Good treat in the middle of the afternoon.

★★★★★

Great tea by itself or mixed with another tea with fruit flavors.

★★★★☆

A guilt-free chocolate treat great for the evening, when caffeine just won't work. Light and sweet!

★★★★★

This tea was a welcome treat! I enjoyed this sweet and chocolatey tea.

I already liked Tiger Eye black tea for breakfast (alternating between that and Summer Rose), and this is like a decaf version of that. It's quickly become one of my favorites out of the batch of samples I ordered this time. I love having a cup of this with dinner, because I get nauseous drinking cold beverages with a meal, and the chocolate flavor of this pairs well with a variety of savory dishes. I don't have to worry about the caffeine keeping me up at night. Definitely going to be one of the standard flavors I keep in stock at all times.

★★★★★

Dessert! I d say it s a good subtitute for hot chocolate, but it s also a good base to add cocoa for a less sugary, more earthy cup of warm comfort.

★★★★☆

Warm and chocolate-y! Especially good with a little bit of milk.

★★★★☆

It was what it promised, a chocolate tea. But I guess I wasn't wowed. If you want a nice sweet cup before bed, this will do just fine.

★★★★☆

I am really loving everything honey bush. This chocolate one is fantastic.

★★★☆☆

This tea has flavor, it’s just not real chocolatey. I love honeybush. I love chocolate. This tastes like one of those weak mochas you get at a place that doesn’t use real chocolate. In other words, it’s got a strong dose of attempted chocolate flavoring with no real chocolate. I want to see you guys do a second honeybush blend, with dark chocolate and cacao nibs to really get an authentic chocolate flavor.

My mom uses this half and half with the honeybush hazelnut to make a duplicate of the Admiration tea from the Mother's Day limited edition collection. The hazelnut stands slightly better on its own than this tea does, according to her; but they're both excellent, and it's nice for her to have a caffeine-free option with a nice bold flavor. --- UPDATE 10/27/20: This was the cup of the day for the communiTEA, so now I've had a chance to try the tea for myself instead of reporting on it second-hand! I think the chocolate flavoring complements the honeybush tea exceptionally well. This is a delightful dessert tea, right up there with rooibos pecan turtle and honeybush banana nut. I only needed two drops of EZ-Sweets to make it a perfect late night cup.

Part of the October 2020 CommuniTEA Box. Hot chocolate without the caffeine and sugar?! Yes please!!

★★★★☆

I made a delicious tea latte with my CommuniTEA bag of Honeybush Chocolate this morning. I forgot to try it plain, but it tastes great with hot milk.

★★★★★

As a major chocoholic, I'm in love with this tea. It makes a great sugar free, caffeine free alternative to hot cocoa.

I love this tea! Honeybush is such a good tea, and the addition of chocolate is great! I added milk and sweetener

★★★★★

Love the chocolate flavor! So good with milk and sweetener!

★★★★★

I think I’d give this one a 4.5 if I could. It’s delicious, but there’s just something about it that is missing. It’s definitely on my end; I didn’t play with adding honey or almond milk. However it is a really good chocolate tea. It stands alone without any sweetener and is caffeine free, which makes for a great evening cup!

★★★★☆

This is a very good tea! The chocolate notes are subtle but definitely there.

★★★★☆

I really liked this tea! A delicious chocolate dessert tea... I steeped at 212* for 5 mins with a splash of cream.

★★★☆☆

I was hoping for a little more on the chocolate side, but I could see creamer this would bring this up a notch. Still good though! (CommuniTEA)

★★★☆☆

This tea had a nice honeybush flavor but the chocolate flavor missed the mark for me.

This wasn't bad as far as chocolate teas go, but they just never taste quite right to me in general. With the right creamer, I think this would make a nice dessert.

★★★★★

Delicious! This is probably one of my favorite CommuniTEA teas for this month. I used sweetener, brown sugar, and milk, and it was rich and dessert-like.

★★★★☆

First, I often don’t live honeybush tea, BUT this one is really nice! With a splash of almond milk, it’s like I’m drinking a hot cocoa/tea hybrid. I’m a fan!

This tea sample, made per instructions, with 6-8 oz water, was essentially tasteless.. While there are some innovative ideas, seems for our tastes [mine and my husband's] we need to double the suggested tea.

This is the first time I've enjoyed honeybush, except once when the honeybush chocolate was in a fandom blend.  The chocolate goes well with the dry roasted nut notes from the honeybush, and I like the slight bitterness from the cacao nibs.  I added just a tiny bit of honey, having accidentally added too much sweetener to honeybush before with bad results, and it enhanced the flavor.  Happy to know I actually (sometimes) like honeybush tea!

I get hints of chocolate but not enough for my sweet tooth. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA October box

The chocolate in this was very light and fruity, almost like a chocolate cherry sort of tone. I steeped this extra long to try and draw out some more flavor from the cocoa nibs, but this still ended up being shockingly delicate. I tend to like cocoa with rooibos and honeybush as they keep the teas from tasting flat to me. I like this, but I don't like it nearly as much as it's mint counterpart. Overall, a very nice chocolate tea.

Dark chocolate would have been yummy without the awful of honeybush which dominates
