This is a delicious dessert tea. A great caffeine-free option!
The smooth, gently roasted and honeyed aroma of Honeybush from South Africa, infused with dark chocolate flavor.

This is a delicious dessert tea. A great caffeine-free option!
Love this night or day because of the lack of caffeine. No need for sugar or cream
I love the honeybush blends and this one was pretty good, but not as good as the honeybush hazelnut. Has a nice and dense flavor and body, plus no caffeine which is a plus if you're trying to cut back.
Such a great herbal tea with a nice strong chocolate flavor.
I ve come to really enjoy flavored Honeybush and Rooibos teas for a sort of 'night cap'. I add milk as well and it brings out the chocolate and creamy consistency without adding any sweetener.
I use a tiny bit of creamer and it's a nice warm dessert beverage! I also mix it with chai. Rooibos upsets my stomach but honeybush, less so.
Love this new one I tried that I wasn't sure I'd like because of it being honeybush. I love chocolate so I gave it a try. Will be ordering again!
Love this. I used to drink a chocolate herbal tea from world Market many years ago, that they stopped making and this tastes so similar. It's the perfect thing when you want to curb that Chocolate craving. It has just the right amount of sweetness from the honey bush.
I wish it had more of a chocolate taste. It does has hints of it but I taste more of the honeybush.
The chocolate flavor was pretty light for me. I enjoyed mixing it with honeybush hazelnut. There are other honeybush/rooibos teas I prefer so I likely won't re-purchase this one, but I'm glad I tried it.
This tea was a lovely discovery! I enjoyed it's mild chocolatey taste and was thrilled to have this as an option to drink in the evenings when I significantly reduce my caffeine intake.
I think that this tea must make an excellent base to combine with others as I can see it 'playing well' with other teas, and it would have an ability to impart its lovely smoothness to any mix.
The honeybush has been a lovely surprise to me as I find it a lot more palatable and enjoyable to drink than red rooibos which I find comes off as medicinal to my taste. This is a winner!
I find most 'chocolate' teas disappointing and leaving me craving real hot cocoa, and this is a welcome exception. The scent is richly chocolatey, the tea brews up a nice dark brown, and the flavor is a treat. Honeybush and chocolate definitely complement each other well. For indulgence, I add cream and honey.
This smelled more chocolatey than it tasted. Adding 1/2 tsp of monkfruit sweetener helped a bit. This is a great dessert tea or one used in a blend.
I had this as a hot tea and added milk to it, and a tiny bit of sugar. This had a nice chocolate flavor, overall. Probably would be good to mix with other teas to add that chocolate flavoring to them.
I'm regretting only buying the small bag - this is an excellent nightcap, and blends well with several fruit teas I have if I feel fancy.
I love honey bush tea so I have been trying the different blends to see which ones I really like and which ones I want to keep on hand. I am not normally a big chocolate fan so I was not expecting to really like this tea. But this tea is amazing! The smooth, silky honey bush blends well with the cocoa nibs and the chocolate flavor is very subtle. No honey or any type of sugar is needed.
I would like to try a decaf tea in a chocolate (I know that chocolate has caffeine in it and that's why they don't have one), but I'll settle for this one.
So incredibly good - it's completely great on its own but I usually add heavy cream and almond milk to make it a special treat.
I think this is very yummy! I really like sweeter teas so I added a little bit of sugar, and heavy cream! But its so good! I steeped it for 5 and a half minutes but thats only because I couldn t get my lid off to take out the tea.
I felt bad only giving this 3 stars. I'm not a chocolate fan, but so many folks chocoholics are that I decided to give it a try. Ended up toss it out because there are so many other flavors to try.
I absolutely love this tea ! Great aroma, great flavor, even reminds me slightly of coffee for some odd reason. But with all the tea I have to choose from, this is the one I come back to again and again.
Simple and sweet caffeine free tea. The honeybush lends its inherent sweetness, and the cocoa nibs and chocolate flavor add mild chocolate notes. The brewed tea is a deep chocolately brown. Honeybush is forgiving, so it can be brewed at boiling temperatures for longer periods without risk of bitterness. The chocolate flavor would most likely be brought to the forefront with some sweetener, since it is not forward without it. Great for midday or evening, and also plays well with some of the fruit blends.
This smells wonderful when you open the bag and almost as nice in the cup after brewing. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to its strong chocolaty smell. It is a very, very weak tasting, watery brew.
Another favorite if mine. Rich Flavoring, slightly sweet with depth from the chocolate.
This tea is delicious!! Easily one of my new favorites! I was so excited to see honeybush teas with various flavors. Rarely you can even find honeybush tea, but to find it with flavors was a serious win. I absolutely loved this tea and am ordering more!
One of my favorites! Smooth and delicious. It reminds me of an Easter tea I purchased years ago at Harrod's.
Delicious. I've never been a huge Chocolate tea fan, but this really changed my mind. Its not overly sweet, it isn't bitter.
good flavor, though not as strong of a chocolate flavor as I was expecting - quite nice with a bit of milk
This honey bush chocolate tea is the perfect after supper treat.
Wonderful! Adagio does the best chocolate teas, and this one is caffeine free!
My taste buds love this tea. It's a great tea as it helps me to curb my cravings for sweets.
I am hopelessy addicted to honeybush tea with its sweet honey and almond taste that adding a dark chocolate only makes it more rich, bordering on decadent! Luscious and amazingly caffeine free which means you can drink it late into a chocolate filled night! Yaaasssss!
I usually love honeybush teas, but this one just isn't for me. I will try again with a bit of milk to see if that helps. There seem to be some coffee notes in it, which I don't personally care for (I simply don't like coffee, which is why I drink tea).
Yum! Great by itself or mixed with the Roobios coconut for a sweet treat.
Tasty honey Ish lends its earthy flavor and the chocolate adds to the earthiness but not in a fake chocolate kind of way.
Sweet and creamy, even on its own. It will hold up to the addition of milk and/or sugar, but honestly, it is tasty on its own, if you are looking for a guilt-free treat to satisfy your sweet-tooth. For those that like sweet and creamy iced coffee style drinks, this tea can be made in iced form and then prepared like an iced coffee, for a caffeine-free treat.
The name describes this tea perfectly! There's a hint of sweetness combined with the rich, luxurious taste of chocolate. It's smooth and cozy, especially nice to drink when it's really cold outside. It's caffeine-free, so I love being able to drink as much of it as I want, too!
A true dessert tea. This tastes just as you would expect it to. First taste is the Honeybush and then the chocolate finish. The chocolate is subtle, but with a cool lingering in your mouth. This will be a staple in our house. Bonus, no caffeine so I can drink it anytime.
This is very tasty. I love chocolate. And I enjoy having a caffiene free chocolate tea to indulge myself with.
Okay flavor but chocolate was somewhat light and I expected a richer taste
Honey bush tea is just too weak for me. I was hoping chocolate would be better.
It's more of a honeyed tea with a mild flavor of chocolate than a chocolate tea, per se. Adagio has other more chocolatey options, but this is certainly one of the sweeter options that makes sugar unnecessary.
I don t usually like chocolate teas because they taste artificial but this tea is YUMMY--decadent and delicious! This will satisfy your sweet tooth and give you all the happy feels. I like adding a splash of cream or whole milk just to reduce the sweetness a bit and give it a creamier feel.
Another really good Honeybush blend. The banana nut is elite but this is very good.
This was a solid, but still mellow tasting tea. Very enjoyable drinking experience.
I LOVE this tea! I didn't think I was a huge fan of honeybush, but maybe I am. I get an amazing, creamy chocolate flavor from it with hints of raspberry (I know there's no raspberry, so I can't explain that...). Like with other Adagio teas, I really wish 'flavors' weren't such a key to the teas, but this one is so tasty.
Not my favorite, strange aftertaste to the chocolatey flavor.
I picked up a sample of this during my last order because it sounded interesting. It is my new favorite after dinner tea and I look forward to it all day. I add a little unsweetened vanilla almond milk and it makes a creamy, rich chocolately drink that just hits the spot. I'm excited to try other honeybush teas and blends! I loved this so much I had to place another order even though my tea supply is pretty stocked because I didn't want to be without it.
I am not convinced. Not enough chocolate here, and some confusion of what Honeybush tea is meant to taste like anyway. Comes across as being unsure of its own identity.
If you’re looking for something without caffeine this tea is great!
