Got this as a free sample. Smells of chocolate, but the flavor is mild. I haven't tried it yet with milk or sugar. I prefer regular honeybush to this.
The smooth, gently roasted and honeyed aroma of Honeybush from South Africa, infused with dark chocolate flavor.

I love this tea - strong and sweet, with hints of honey and chocolate, and no caffeine! It's the perfect treat before bed.
the sent of this tea is exquisite, a bitter chocolate smell. without cream it was a bit mild but the cream brought out the flavor nicely.
Great taste, nice color, grate mix of flavors, good for all day long.
This was the first honeybush tea I tried. It kind of reminded me of a chocolate liquor without the alcohol. It wasn't super chocolatey but you'll be able to taste the chocolate more if you ad a little sugar and milk.
I love it!!! It's very smooth with the perfect amount of chocolate!
Delicious herbal tea! Perfect for your late night sweet tooth. Added splenda
The smell of the chocolate put me off a bit, and the flavor is lost when it's made. It might need to be brewed a bit more strongly. Also, I've done with milk, and it could water down the flavor. Also, try mixing, as cocomint is better than just the chocolate alone.
I haven’t had a honeybush tea before, so I will admit I don’t have a grounding for this tea. It’s definitely a very different sort of chocolate tisane than the mocha nut mate - where the mate was a smoky dark chocolate, this is a woody (almost barky) almond milk chocolate. It’s got a much drier finish, and a smooth honey taste in the background. And where the mate evokes feelings of fall and warmth, this feels more like warmth right after a spring rain, the sweet honey mingling with a mild chocolate, with a chasing of nut. I almost want to say this is the kid cousin of the mate
Pleasantly fragrant and sweet without being cloying, but the honeybush taste completely overpowers the chocolate.
If you like chocolate teas, this decaffeinated tisane will do you right! It's quickly become my go-to evening blend, especially when I'm craving something sweet. I'm sure that I'll be purchasing this one again.
Smells and tastes pretty good, but it hardly has any quality reminiscent of chocolate. Frankly, it just tastes like plain honeybush to me. That's all right, since I really like honeybush, but when you're aiming for something unique and find it too much like something else, that takes it down a notch or two.
This tea smelled like chocolate pudding while it was brewing, and when I drank it-- heaven. It has a beautiful mixture of rooibos and chocolate flavoring that makes it fantastic as a dessert tea!
Love the smell, love the taste, and LOVE mixing it with the honeybush hazelnut.
I prefer this to the plain chocolate. It smells spicy, however, that could be from adding sugar. It has a hint of chocolate in it- sweet chocolate, not bitter. The worst thing about it is that it has a lot, a lot, of fine bits of tea, and they slipped through my infuser. They're kind of all pooled at the bottom of my mug, though it doesn't seem to affect the taste.
Didn't like it at all. Didn't taste the chocolate part of it.
This is a delicious blend! Not only does it smell great, but it has a wonderful chocolatey taste to it as well! Pair it with the honeybush hazelnut tea for something truly divine.
Definitely quenches my chocaholic needs without the added calories or fat!
I loved the honeybush vanilla so much, that I thought I would try this one. I do like it, but it isn't as flavorful as the chocolate chai tea. I think it would be a good one to combine with another tea, though, to make something really excellent!
I'm not a chocolate fan, so I wasn't expecting to love this tea. I was wrong! It pairs well with all the other teas I have (as long as I only use a little bit of the chocolate). The flavor is strong...at least for chocolate hater...so I have to make it pretty weak. On the plus side, that just makes it last longer!
I love this tea for when I'm really craving a hot chocolate but don't want all the calories from the milk. This completely hits the spot!!
I enjoy the chocolate-flavored black tea better - I think the dark, chocolatey taste pairs better
This tea is nice for blending, but I do not like it by itself because it doesn't have a very distinct flavour.
Really didn't like this one. It doesn't taste chocolatey at all, and the flavoring makes the honeybush really rough-flavored. I mean, more rough than honeybush usually is. Bleah.
Love this tea plain, or for a special treat with milk and a little sugar. Lovely fragrance as well.
Tastes great with vanilla rooibos and honeybush hazelnut. The chocolate is subtle but still good.
I think the chocolate flavor in this tea is great. It's not powerful, like hot chocolate, but this isn't hot chocolate. I like to mix 2tsp of this with 1/2 tsp of wild strawberry and some sugar. It's like a chocolate covered strawberry.
clean honey chocolate flavor, yummy with cream...
Not a great tea but not bad. The initial flavor was fine, like the chocolate but it left a very herbal aftertaste. Not worth it just for a decaf cup.
I have found this to be somewhat effective with nighttime chocolate cravings, but I feel like it could be more chocolately somehow than it is. Not that I know anything about making tea. Maybe I will try mixing in actual cocoa powder into my tea.
The mixture of flavors was good, but not what I was expecting. The chocolate tastes a bit fake.
I love this! This is the perfect choclate and the honeybush is so sweet and smooth. This is one that my daughter enjoys as well, so if you are looking for the perfect chocolate tea for the kids, honeybush chocolate is the one!
The chocolate flavor is smooth. it goes quite well with the honeybush.
I love all chocolate teas. This one is really good iced and also hot.
Get a chocolate fix without eating chocolate. Also, no caffeine, making this the perfect tea for late afternoon or evening.
Hoped I would like this as I like alternative teas but it really was not my 'cup of tea'.
A little too falsely sweet for me. I love chocolate tea, and caramel tea, but for some reason I have some issues with the flavor of the chocolate herb teas. It just doesn't work- it's sort of sweet like YooHoo, and not smooth like cocoa.
I love the fact that this one is decaffeinated. The honey undertones really comment the chocolate nicely.
Great chocolate taste...add of bit of cream and it's like a dessert after dinner...
Love this chocolate addictive tasty tea. My favorite afternoon treat.
I like it, but the chocolate taste is kind of subtle.
Very sweet. But as with other Adagio 'chocolate teas' I really feel that the chocolate flavor could be stronger.
Not a bad tea. I will enjoy the rest of what I have put probably won't buy it again.
I love Honeybush teas, but I suspect I'm not a big chocolate-tea fan -- the flavor was lovely, though not overwhelmingly fantastic, and the sediment that comes with chocolate teas is a bit much.
This blend was rather bland. I do not think that I will re-order this blend.
This was an okay tea by itself. It makes a good add-in to black teas, if you want to add a little sweetness without adding sugars.
I am partial to honeybush, but I would have liked the chocolate notes to be stronger.
More nutty than chocolatey, still this tea was good, and tasted just as good cold as it did hot.
I bought this on a whim and it is very good- has a rich undertone.
Not an overly flavorful tea, but okay for in the evenings. Smooth tasting, with a slight cocoa flavor. Prepared with stevia.
