The sweet flavor is enjoyable but it has a bad odor which is difficult to overcome. It would be better blended with something besides of the chocolate.
The smooth, gently roasted and honeyed aroma of Honeybush from South Africa, infused with dark chocolate flavor.

The sweet flavor is enjoyable but it has a bad odor which is difficult to overcome. It would be better blended with something besides of the chocolate.
Was not very impressed with it by itself, but with a caramel and hazelnut roobios it is good.
This was absolutely delicious mixed with almond milk and a bit of Sweet 'n Low. Will definitely order again.
The Honeybush tea ( a mildly sweet flavor with red tea overtones) along with a cocoa aftertaste has quickly addicted me to it,
I am ordering a second order of it, this time 3 teabag packages to make sure I don't run out. I give these bags to friends, but make SURE I have enough for me
would love a more intense flavor but very enjoyable
I enjoy the flavored honeybush teas, and this one is pretty good, though not my favorite. It is really good blended with the hazelnut honeybush.
Really love the smoothness of this tea. The chocolate is very subtle which I love. A great dessert tea.
I am red tea purist and prefer rooiboos to honeybush. However, I tried this and thought it was very nice.
this is decent, when mixed with black or caramel black. It doesn't have too strong of a cough syrup flavor.
This tea is starting to grow on me... it's good in a strange way (doesn't quite taste like chocolate to me though). I do like the fact that it's caffeine-free, so I can have a sweet tea dessert before bed.
This tea has a smooth, rich flavor. Excellent. I like having a cup in the evening.
Not sure I like this one on its own, but it is great for smoothing out flavored black teas.
I was unsure if I would like the honeybush chocolate, but it is delightful!
This tea was absolutely wonderful. I purchased both the black tea and the honeybush tea in chocolate to compare them and I loved the honeybush tea. It is natually sweet with none of the bitterness of black tea. The flavor was a little less than black tea but I think that the sweetness of the tea more than made up for it. I mixed this tea with the honeybush vanilla and a touch of cinnamon tea and enjoyed a truly divine cup of tea.
This was delicious when mixed with a bit of herbal strawberry!
This is a great evening tea, since there is no caffeine. I like to add this to other honeybush flavors for a unique flavor experience. It is especially good with orange or hazelnut honeybush teas.
When you open the back, you say "Hm, tootsie rolls." When you taste it unsweetened, you say "This tastes like tea -- not particularly chocalatey." When you sweeten it, it tastes like tootsie rolls. While I occasionally like tootsie rolls, this is kind of gross. If you are looking for a rich chocalatey experience, this is not the tea for you.
One thing I loved the best was how great it tasted and how unsweet it was. I love tea because of the bitterness you can get, so I was pleastly surprised when it was the perfect compbian of sweet and bitter!
Having read that rooibos and honeybush can be quite similar, I'd say I agree with that assessment. Both taste rather like twigs/stems that they derive from. Might as well drink it plain because the 'flavorings' don't really pop unless you put sweetener in them and I'm trying to cut out that sort of thing. I'm guessing I should accept that tea wasn't meant to be sweet like other things. Still, not a bad tea.
My husband really likes all of the honeybush flavors. This is one of his favorites, but he doesn't like it quite as much as the vanilla.
This is a very very tasty tea. I use this one to introduce people to chocolate teas and to honeybush. It's great that's it is not caffeinated because I can drink it as a treat after dinner and not worry about it keeping me awake.
loved this tea, mixed with the classic peppermint for a nice peppermint pattie feel
Great tea, but it doesn't taste as much chocolate as "chocolate chip" flavored tea. But if you need a caffeine free chocolate tea, this is a great choice.
Thiswas my first time trying honeybush tea. It does have an interesting taste. It had a hint of chocolate. It was good but not great.
I love the taste of the regular honeybush, so with chocolate...it is amazing!!! Delish!!!
YUMMO! Really love this tea! Great on it's own and wonderful for blends!
I love this with some honey- it brings out the flavors of this terrific mixture.
Can't beat the great taste! I like to mix some honeybush chocolate in for a taste only matched by honeybush chocolate mango...
Boo. It tastes rather like bark in water, which is sort of but not really the point of infusions.
This wasn't as good as expected. I didn't taste much of the chocolate flavor. The honeybush flavor had a bit of a tabacco-like after taste. I probably won't buy this one again
Chocolate tea is always a little "interesting" tasting to me until sweetness and/or cream is added, but this one is good interesting instead of ick interesting. It's even better sweeted and creamed, and it plays well with other flavors
It is flavorless like I was sent a batch with no flavoring and you cant return it without them charging 35% AND you pay for the shipping...GREAT..what a disapointment for this and hazelnut.
This tea has a great natural sweetness. I like it on its own, but I especially like it blended with vanilla and hazelnut in the A Caffeine-Free Hot Chocolate blend.
Excellent chocolate flavor! A bit too much at times, but I've tried what another reviewer suggested and mixed some of it with rooibos orange. Excellent.
It smelled good, but didn't really have much of a flavor. It did get better as it cooled off, though, so maybe it would be good iced.
I bought this to make sugar free hot chocolate tea. Wonderfully flexable tea and can be used in many ways. I also blend with vanilla tea for a smooth hot drink when I'm in a coffee mood (which I don't drink). Very satisfying!
Yum! Great for dessert or any time of day. I blend it with a fruit tea like strawberry, peach, or orange. Delicious!!
Wow! I wasn't sure I was gonna like this because the one other time I tried rooibos, I didn't really like it. But this was absolutely fantastic! It had a very fragrant and tasty chocolate flavor.
Very sweet, very chocolatey! Definitely soothes the chocolate craving.
The reviews had me definitely expecting something fantastic. And once I had it I was less than satisifed with it. I didn't get much of a chocolate taste at all, and the honeybrush on its own lacks a distinct taste.
This is heaven! The chocolate flavor is just right - like a cup of hot cocoa, but without the guilt. This one is perfect on its own, or blend with honeybush vanilla for an ice-cream flavored treat. And as honeybush is low-caffeine (if any), I can drink this whenever I crave chocolate.
The honeybush chocolate delivered what it had promised...a nice chocolate flavor. It was a little strong by itself, but combined with vanilla rooibus, I found it very good! Take a chance and try it, I believe you'll enjoy it!
I enjoyed this, however chocolate tea isn't all I thought it would be. I expect too much from it. I don't do milk and sugar, so I'm probably not letting this live to its potential.
Chocolatey and caffeine-free. This is a great bedtime tea. I definitely prefer this one over the Chocolate Chip.
This was not my favorite of the samples I bought. The chocolate fvor was out of place for me.
I love the smell the chocolate taste is mellow. Will be Buying again soon
I didn't think this had a very strong flavor. I'm used to more strongly flavored black teas and this doesn't really compare to that flavor.
The chocolate flavor tastes great- i definitely had my concerns about this flavor, but it is awesome! Makes a great dessert tea- nice chocolate flavor without all the calories. I also LOVE to cold brew with honeybush. Delicious!
great chocolatey smell & flavor - blends well with the rooibos vanilla, & also the honeybush hazelnut
Very powerful smell of chocolate, slightly sweet flavor. Would be good mixed with a bit of vanilla to cut the strength of the chocolate.
