Meh, I won't order this one again. I tried it because I was looking for more rooibos tea and thought it would be similar. The tea was fine. I didn't think the chocolate flavor did anything for this nutty tea. I'll try another flavor of honey bush tea next time.
This. Was. Amazing. I have no idea what magical leaves they used but this tasted to my palate like a delicious melted chocolate bar, aided with a gentle dash of stevia to help the sweetness along.
this ones soooo good. with a splash of milk or creamer it reminds me of fudge!!! ice it and you wont be sad
This is rich and delicious, exactly what you'd want out of a chocolate tea. It feels like drinking hot cocoa but without the heaviness. An excellent after-dinner treat!

Sweet and lightly chocolate aroma from the sample pouch. 5 min @ 212 There is a slight sweetness from the honeybush, but the chocolate is more of an aftertaste. Better as it cools, but not sure it would be my choice for iced tea either. Maybe it needs some chocolate chips instead of cocoa nibs.
This is one of my favorites. The chocolate flavor is subtle. I like this one and the honeybush banana nut. Great with Honey.
my wife and i were trying to find a caffeine-free alternative to the chocolate truffle blend, and this delivered--and then some!! the chocolate comes through and makes this the perfect tea to pair with dessert, since it won't keep you up through the night.
I love the hint of chocolate in this honeybush tea. I love mixing this with Adagio Blood Orange. So good! Sometimes I like to add more cocoa nibs to this tea for more chocolatey flavor.
This one is a big hit with my family. The natural, fragrant sweetness of the honeybush joins well with adagio's chocolate flavor. Overall, tasty/10, would reccomend.
As a chocoholic I feel qualified to say that this is a chocolate delight! This blend is flavorful and has a nice dark chocolate flavor in the fore front, paired with the light roasted, honey-like flavor with woody and nutty notes of the honeybush. There is no bitterness, and the sweetness is just right. The only thing better than this is real chocolate.
It's pretty good, it does have a slight medicinal taste but not in a bad way. I very much enjoyed it.
I love honeybush chocolate tea. Generally, I have it in blends, but I anticipate it will be just as amazing on it's own. I'm looking forward to receiving it and sipping it alone or in blends.

I love this blend! The naturally sweet background generously given by the honeybush instantly tames the cocoa nibs and makes for a balanced tasty chocolate cuppa. Takes milk very nicely and chocolate honey works well in it as well. I would not recommend adding white sugar as it can become too sweet. Indulge when you need to hang on to your sanity.

Pleasant and light! Naturally sweet on it's own, but a little milk and sugar brings out a bit of the chocolate. It's not heavy on Choco, but the honeybush flavor pairs well with the light cocoa flavor. Delish

I'm not really feeling this one, but that's more because Adagio's chocolate anything seems to favor a degree of dark chocolate flavor that's a bit outside my preference range. It just sort of ends up tasting like a watery chocolate bar I wouldn't care to eat. I can tell there's technically nothing wrong with it though, and if you like your chocolate pretty dark you'll probably like this. It's not for me, though.
This is yummy. I do like the honeybush hazelnut even more than this one, hence 4 out of 5 for this, but it is still a nice choice when in more in the mood for chocolate. I did hope it would have a bit more chocolate flavor.
The Honeybush Chocolate will have a more pronounced chocolate flavor the longer it is steeped. The flavors are enhanced by adding just a bit of sugar. This is a fabulous dessert tea.
Gross, to my taste. 1 star, for me for taste. But 5 stars for shipping, order process, packaging -- they sent me a bunch of other samples along with my taster order. So landing on 3 stars here overall. It was cheap to just give it a try with the sampler, so if it sounds interesting to you, you should give it a shot with a taster first. I wanted a non-dairy replacement for hot chocolate, so that maybe was unrealistic. I found the chocolate chip tea to better, but it has caffeine.

OK, I really like this but am not as fond of the chocolate flavor with the honeybush as I am of other flavors
This is one of my favorites, I drink it every day several times a day.I've been drinking this one for many years. I mix it with the Carmel rooibos.
There is a really great honey bush flavor, but not much chocolate. One day I may try to taste test it against honey bush alone or other honey bush blends to see if there is a subtle chocolate taste that I wasn't able to distinguish on its own.
Chocolate nutty scent when dry. Definite chocolate flavor, but a bit watery and not very sweet. Decent, but not quite for me.
Nice chocolate aroma upon opening the package. Blend of honeybush and chocolate complimented each other well. Added a bit of sweetener and enjoyed this tea to relax before bed.
This tea is wonderful with a nice chocolatey flavor that goes perfectly with a honeybush tea.
Lovely chocolate aroma, without sugar or milk it tastes like dark chocolate. It’s got that honeybush tang, mostly on the sides of the tongue. The chocolate does not overpower the honeybush. Once cream and sugar added it’s like liquid milk chocolate.
Tried this through the CommuniTEA box and enjoyed it. At first it had a bit of a twang to it (off-putting taste) but the tea grew on me as I drank it. This won't be among my favorites, but I would be willing to give this another go, especially with it having no caffeine. Steeped for 5 minutes at 212.

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I smelled lovely aromas of chocolate. This tea tastes so delicious! The chocolate flavor is strong, with a hint of nuttiness from the honeybush. A perfect dessert tea!
A nice afternoon tea, with a strong cocoa scent that was pretty good with a bit of whipped cream mixed in.
Lots of cocoa and chocolate rising up from the packet was encouraging that this flavored tea actually included the flavorings! It did and I got a nice bit of chocolate flavor with the honeyed honey bush. I prefer Rooibos to the paper honey bush, but for those w hi I prefer it it's a treat with some honey and a splash of milk.
I wish I could add more than 'it smells and tastes like chocolate and I really like that' but that basically sums it up.
I love chocolate and get excited when I see a chocolate tea in my CommuniTEA box. But alas, I haven't found one I really like - until now. This is the first chocolate tea that really hit the spot for me. It was a pleasant surprise to enjoy it so much. I have a good stock of teas now, but this is on the short list for purchase in the future.
I am not a big fan of red rooibos tea, but if you add chocolate to ANYTHING, I will try it. The chocolate taste is there, but it's a little weaker than I would like, but of course this is a caffeine free tea. This would not be my morning tea, but more of something I would sip in the evening.
Pleasant tea that I can taste both the chocolate and the honeybush Light and very full of cocoa. Nice winter decaf tea.

UPDATED from 11/20/22: This is such a wonderful tea, because I like red rooibos. The vanilla and chocolate flavors are divine, making this a MUST have in my tea cupboard. Since it is caffeine free, I can drink it anytime, so this is my “go to tea” whenever I want a strong flavored tea that is full of body. It can be a dessert tea with sweetener and heavy whipping cream added to it. It can be added to other teas to help make them chocolaty creamy. This tea even tastes delicious cold. Hot, it is perfect for the fall and winter, as it is able to warm you up anytime of the day. (5 mins @ 212°F + sweetener and cream)
