Tastes more like a rooibos tea. Hints of chocolate are nice, but it doesn't stand out much. Decent enough but would rather drink others.
The smooth, gently roasted and honeyed aroma of Honeybush from South Africa, infused with dark chocolate flavor.

Tastes more like a rooibos tea. Hints of chocolate are nice, but it doesn't stand out much. Decent enough but would rather drink others.
I am an avid tea drinker and this choice truly has a great chocolate taste without the dairy or the calories.I like using 11/2 teaspoons then filling boiling water to the top of the mug. All I add is a splash of almond milk and half of a stevia packet.
This was not a fan favorite. I think the flavoring was a Little overdone. I added a bit of coconut milk, which rounded the taste out and made it more palatable. I don’t think I’d order this one Again
I was really looking forward to this one, but unfortunately it is underwhelming. Not much chocolate flavor comes through. For a dessert tea, I'd take Honeybush Hazlenut or Banana Nut over this.
Bought for my mom. We both sampled, and enjoyed. This isn't outright chocolate to me, but a really great earthy toasty cuppa. I enjoyed hot, both plain and with sweet/cream.
This was a very surprising Tea to me.. It was sweet on its own and the chocolate was delicate without the bitter aftertaste--a definite keeper.
This is lovely mixed with caramel rooibos to make a latte. I always add milk and sugar pretty much regardless of what I'm having but with this one I think sugar enhances the chocolate. By itself I can barely taste the chocolate but I still like it.
Very good. Was needing a chocolate blender, and this fit.
If you enjoy the taste of Robios and chocolate, you will likely appreciate this tea. The chocolate adds a little sweetness to the tea.
A yummy evening drink to quench your sweet tooth and soothe way the days worries. I enjoy it with or without sweetener but a little sweet adds more joy LOL
Chocolatey aroma, full body tea. Very good. I got it for my 11 year old after he tried a chocolate tea while we were out one day. We both like it very much.
This tea has a mild chocolate flavor - a bit mild for my taste, - but maybe I just need to add a bit of sugar.
Smells like hot chocolate, tastes like milk chocolate. Smooth and creamy. Perfect for tea time with toddlers.
This tea isn't for me. I didn't love the chocolate and honeybush combination. However, my friend loved this. I think liking this will be based on taste preference
a nice, subtley chocolate tea. a great herbal/evening option. almost like a hot chocolate...
This tea has a nice, chocolate-y flavor, but I find the aftertaste to be a bit weird. Being non-caffeinated is a plus.
While slightly more notable than it's unflavored counterpart, on its own honeybush chocolate feels a bit hollow. It's aroma is intensely sweet cocoa, but the scent doesn't carry over as intensely in taste. The honeybush itself is very mellow, so it doesn't offer much but a touch of natural sweetness. Even though I wouldn't choose to drink this tisane on its own, it blends very well. (10+ minutes @ 212F)
Nice rich planty flavor with light chocolate sweetness. Very good.
Really enjoyed the CT pick today. I love tiger eye and Konami and to be honest this one really just feels like a version of those with honeybush woodsy sweetness. The chocolate comes through very nice and mingles with that honeybush vanilla-like flavor. Really not a ton to say outside of that. Had it with nothing added. 312° 5 min.
A good dessert tea. Smells like chocolate but tastes like tea!
CommuniTEA sample. 5 min @ 212 F. This smells great, somewhere between chocolate and cocoa, it really brings out unique, sweet aromas from both. The taste of my first infusion was pretty good, it brought out some fruity notes I might expect to find in chocolate, and I think that's largely because of the honeybush. That added a little bit of mild sweetness, and gave it a nice, smooth body. The second infusion wasn't quite as good in flavor, it kind of got muddled together, but it still had a nice aroma.
It is a great basic chocolate tea. Nothing overwhelming or under just right in the money of a perfect subtle chocolate
Couldn't get much flavor out of this one, but I will try to steep again and see how it goes. Will update my review!
Love love this blend, the chocolate compliments the Honeybush tea nicely
This tea has does not have a strong flavor of chocolate. However, it is still a good tea that I enjoyed hot and cold.
Very soft mouthfeel on the tongue. Very flavorful with chocolate and caramel notes. I love this with some baileys Irish cream.
I love using this tea as an after dinner dessert. It has a slight sweetness that satisfies my desire for an after dinner treat and caffeine free so it does not interfere with my sleep.
Sorry to say, not a fan. I can't say I don't like it, I just have to say it is pretty flavorless. Smells a little more chocolate y than it actually tastes.
I Love this one! The chocolate is very evident, it's warm and rich and pairs well with a little milk. After giving up caffeine I had to find teas that can enjoy all over again. And this, especially mixed with the blood orange spice, is one of my favorites.
This tea is just ok. It has notes of chocolate and is completely unsweetened which is nice. It tastes as described but isn’t very yummy in my opinion.
A great subtle chocolate flavor with the sweet, mellowness of honeybush. A great tea on its own and also as a blend. I enjoyed it as a blend with honeybush hazelnut.
A nice sweet tea goes great with honey. I don't think it tastes much like chocolate but it does have a nice flavor.
Very satisfying as iced tea. Cold-brewed for two days. It really helps satisfy the chocolate craving.
if you love honeybush tea but are also looking for something to cover that chocolate craving, this tea is for you!! perfect blend of flavors
Very nice blend! My daughter and I enjoyed this one tremendously.
My son loves chocolate flavored teas (he is 8) but so many of them have caffeine - he loves this one!
I love this tea. It's not overwhelmingly chocolatey, reminds me of a tootsie roll smell and flavor. I add a tiny splash of cream and it's amazing at night after dinner because it's caffeine free.
If you love honeybush, you will love this tea. Chocolate is not strong enough to cover the honeybush taste and smell.
Delicious. Smooth and comforting. My son calls out cocoa-tea
One of my new favorites. The longer it steeps I find the more chocolate flavor comes through. Brew at 212 for at least 5 minutes
Surprisingly decadent and rich. Add a little cream to bring out the chocolate flavor.
This is a mild chocolate tea with the honey bush tea being the star here. I don’t usually like chocolate teas but this was an exception. I added a little of honey. Soft and silky chocolate aroma and taste. Love the no caffeine bonus too.
One of my favorites—if I get just the right steep length/water quantity it's like liquid gold.
I love the blend of honeybush and chocolate. The no caffeine makes a great before bedtime drink. I also like to drink it cold.
I added extra cocoa nibs to this blend, I love it!
I really wanted to love this tea since I am a chocoholic, but I just didn't care for it. I much prefer the other honeybush flavors offered here, this is the one I have least liked of all the teas I've tried. Unexpected. Won't buy it again.
Loving this one. Rich and mellow—tastes wonderful alone or with berry teas added for extra zip. Quickly becoming a favorite!
Recently been trying all of the Honeybush-based teas and have to say that the chocolate in this one is taking a back seat in the taste department. However, by combining this one with the Honeybush chocolate and Honeybush banana nut, makes for a wonderful Honeybush mix.
Such a treat to have as a tea in the evening with my dessert. Light but rich in flavor.
This has a lovely chocolate scent. Some brown sugar really brings out the flavor (it's not super strong, but it's pleasant)! It doesn't need it, but it's also nice with a splash of milk.
