★★★★☆

I knew this tea would be interesting, and I was pleased to find that it wasn't overwhelming with artificial chocolate flavors. however this tea is definitely mild, very light, and I wish there were a bit more chocolate involved. Either way, I am partial to honeybush and so this is not an exception: smooth, caffeine-free, nutty, a little sweet, and this one with a touch of chocolate. I like it better with sugar, and over-steeped.

Another one of those teas that is really only suitable blended with others. Maybe Honeybush just isn't my 'cup of tea' .)

I love chocolate. So I always love chocolate teas. This one will not disappoint you if you like chocolate anything. I mix this with the peppermint when I want to get fancy and have a chocolate mint tea.

★★★★★

I hadn't really been a fan of any of the chocolate teas I have tried until this one. The other chocolate teas adagio offers tend to be a little bit too bitter for my taste. Yet this one was very smooth, sort of tasted more like a milk chocolate than a dark chocolate flavor. The honeybush also offered a little bit of earthy sweetness so it tastes perfect on its own, adding sugar made it too sweet.

★★★★☆

I haven't had many dessert teas but this was very interesting. I'll need a few more cups to decide if I want to re-order. Next time, I'll mix it with another flavor.

★★★★★

Very satisfying taste. Great for a nice relaxing evening drink.

★★★★★

I am usually skeptical of chocolate flavored teas but this is great!

★★★★☆

I wish the chocolate flavor was stronger, but this was a good tea. I find that I am enjoying the honeybush teas more than I do the rooibos. They're not quite as...bland, maybe? I'm glad I went ahead and skipped the sample in favor of a full 3 oz bag. I can definitely see myself enjoying this in the evenings before bed.

Smooth, sweet, not bitter at all. Comforting and a great choice!

★★☆☆☆

I was disappointed in this one. I did not blend well with mint, just ok with rooibos orange. Tastes too much like a chocolate jelly bean or hard candy... very artificial flavor.

not a fan, the chocolate was not sweet and when sugar was added it only tasted bitter from the cacao nibs.

★★★☆☆

The chocolate tasted very artificial and didn't blend well with the honeybush. I might try it blended with the honeybush hazelnut, but otherwise I'm not reordering it.

★★★☆☆

I have never had a honeybush tea before and I have to say it was nice. Very light on the intensity of the flavor. So if you like just a hint to your tea this is it!

★★★★★

I love honeybush and this chocolate tea tastes like it belongs in an expensive, upscale tea house. Amazing flavor.

Never had a honeybush tea, so I wasn't sure to expect. I really wasn't expecting THE MOST DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE EXPERIENCE, which fyi, is enhanced with almond milk. yes.

★★★★☆

Good tea, best hot. Honeybush doesn't seem to bitter and I haven't had to sweeten it yet, so it's great for on-the-go.

★★★★★

I love this one for mixing with other honeybush and rooibos flavors, and it only takes a pinch in mixing, because it's got good strong flavor. I am not sure why I don't love it especially alone. maybe because I was hoping it would be a perfect replacement for a chocolate bar, and it isn't. But it's so good mixed with other flavors, that it's one of my must-haves. Good for multiple steepings. **Update: I still love this, but not by itself, but maybe that's because I'm always using it in combination with other flavors and as a background flavoring for some medicinal herbs (bitter) that i like to steep. Still a favorite.

★★★★★

A delightful, no caffeine chocolate tea. I blend this with spice teas, nut teas, pretty much anything but fruit. It does the job wonderfully!

I'm very pleased with the flavor of this tea. In the morning, I mix it with Cream Black for a sweet pick-me-up, and in the evenings I like to brew it with Honeybush Hazelnut for a caffene-free dessert tea.

★★★☆☆

I'm fairly meh about this tea. To me, the smell is just a little bit off and slightly overwhelming. The taste doesn't back up the smell, though sugar helps a little. I think this is another tea that will work better in blends than on its own.

This is my first chocolate tea, and first time dabbling in honeybush tea. The chocolate was definitely there in the smell when I opened up the sample bag. I thought it was very delicious, especially with a little milk and sugar. I especially love mixing this with honeybush hazelnut. Mmm!

★★★★☆

This was the first time I ever tried a chocolate tea. When I first opened the bag, the smell was almost overpowering. I a pot of it with the 1 tsp per cup, then added another tsp. The taste is a little different compared to what I'm used to, but good. I'll be trying it with milk probably here soon, but so far I like it, though it's not my favorite.

In keeping with its mild honeybush base, this is the mildest chocolate tea from Adagio that I've tried, and maybe the one that will remind you most of milk chocolate. My very favorite chocolate tea from Adagio has so far been the chocolate chip black tea, but its style of chocolate is more cool and dark. Delicious valentines (which also includes fruit and rose flavors) and honeybush chocolate are great choices if you're looking for something lighter and mellower.

Got this in the pyramid bags. I really like the sweetness of honeybush. This definitely had a different layer of sweetness to it, also, but I didn't find it very much like chocolate.

Not as strong as a chocolate flavor as the chocolate chip black tea, which I can't drink anymore, but a great substitution. The chocolate flavor is milder which I think pairs very well with the honeybush tea. Delightful flavor alone or with a touch of sugar and creamer. I had ordered a sample and am back for a larger bag.

It's really good, I got a free sample, and I really enjoyed it. Very sweet, you don't really need to add anything to it. It goes great in blends too.

This one had a strange taste to me. My sister liked it so it might just be me but I wont be purchasing this one again. Sorry adaigo :(

I'm not really sure if I like this better than the Honeybush Hazelnut, but it was still delicious! Taste even better with some honey =)

Love the smell, love the taste! Add some milk and sugar to a strongly brewed cup and pour over ice for a really delicious chocolaty milk type tea.

This is a brilliant tea. I love to drink this at night right before bed.

I was a little hesitant about honeybush tea so I went for chocolate! It was AMAZING. I love it. I'll probably drink this with or in stead of hot cocoa in the winter.

Oh, I wanted to love this. It smells lovely in the bag, it smells lovely in the cup. All I felt was meh. Not terrible, just a bit disappointing. Could just be me -- worth a sample!

Beyond divine. Absolutely PERFECT balance of honey and chocolate. A blend like this is why tea exists.

This tea was great for my chocolate craving. I did find it comes up a pale color in the cup even when steeped longer, and required a bit longer steeping than I expected for a medium strength taste, but I still enjoyed it a lot. My husband think it smells like coffee. I wouldn't say it's like drinking hot chocolate, it tastes more sophisticated and less strong than that.

Smells really good, mellow flavor. I think I will enjoy it more in a blend than on it's own.

★★★★☆

Smells WONDERFUL. It's very good with a little milk and sugar. I think I'd like to try more blends with this in it, because I feel like it would pair really well with other teas.

★★★★☆

When I want something sweet at night and I know I can't have a slice of cake I turn to this tea. A little sugar and some vanilla soy creamer and my craving is under control.

I love cocoa powder, and it pairs well with the sweet, nutty honeybush. Still, I think it may be just a bit too sweet for me.

Yes, PLEASE! I love this decaf tea. So cozy on a winter's day!

★★★★☆

This is a nice, if unremarkable tea. Fans of honeybush/rooibos should enjoy the understated chocolate notes in this one. There's nothing wrong with this tea but I've found the honeybush/rooibos varieties to all be very similar...quite all right in their own way, but often there's little variation from one to the next. I do like this better than many of the others and will order it again.

★★★☆☆

This smells off in the bag but better when brewed. however, the taste just isn't there for me. I tried doubling the amount of tea used but instead of enhancing the chocolate it just brought out the honeybush. This is by no means bad just not, as they say, my cup of tea.

Delicious! Really, I only need this one word to describe this honeybush tisane, but I'll go so far as to say that the mouthfeel is somewhat creamy on its own, and the chocolate flavor is very smooth, lightly sweet.. Kind of like milk chocolate in tea form. Adding a bit of cream made for a decadent but caffeine-free cup. Love it!

Tried this as a sample. Doesn't taste like chocolate, has a weird smell, not entirely undrinkable but overall disappointing.

★★★★☆

I was rather hoping the chocolate would be stronger! It was more of a very subtle undertone than anything. Good, but I think I like the hazelnut better.

★★★★★

I wish I could somehow mix this with a White Russian - does that even make any sense? Honeybush chocolate = fantastic duo!! Great to drink instead of hot chocolate on a snowy winter night.

★★★★★

This tea is awesome! It is great for people who have a sweet tooth and want to curb their appetite for sweets. The tea's aroma smells delicious and is only trumped by the flavor. I use a tiny bit of local honey when drinking this tea.

This wasn't awful, but I was very disappointed by it. It reminds me of chocolate flavored lip gloss.

★★★☆☆

I wasn't sure what to think of this one at first, but it definitely started to grow on me. Not my favorite, but not bad.

★★★★☆

This is a dessert tea. It smells like caramel but tastes like chocolate. My biggest issue is that the pieces are so small that they fall out of my infuser.

★★★★☆

good tea, just not as strong on the chocolate as i would have hoped.
