I didn't really taste the chocolate, and I've had some similar chocolate teas before. While this tea wasn't bad it didn't really do much for me overall.
The smooth, gently roasted and honeyed aroma of Honeybush from South Africa, infused with dark chocolate flavor.

I love this tea! It tastes very chocolatey, and since I can't drink hot chocolate, this is the closest I can come. Good sweetened or not, and I really like blending it with rose petals.
Yummy. This tea is a nice dessert substitute. Mild and sweet.
Such an interesting herbal tea. It is warm, yet engaging in flavor.
Chocolaty, with that nice undertone of vanilla that is always in honeybush
This one was just a bit too sweet for me, but it still tastes good.
A little too sweet for an everyday tea. But it's a great substitute for a cup of cocoa
So incredibly delicious. Honeybush tastes amazing in general. I love the chocolate notes that compliment this blend. I drank this as part of my Thanksgiving dessert. It does not need any sweetener unless you have a real sweet tooth.
A nice tea, not a strong chocolate flavor but a nice option when I don't want caffeine. Will try mixing it with other flavors.
Chocolate flavor is barely discernible; no worth the bother.
Nice flavor although I would have liked it to be a little deeper. It was rich and smooth, though...next time I brew I'll try with two spoonfuls. Worth a try for sure!
good, fun, its a treat even though it is just tea
Woody and smelling of chocolate. A little milk and sugar and this is satisfying!
I really liked the aroma when I opened the bag but the taste just didn't meet my expectations. Even when I added creamer, it just came up short. I use this as a blend to add a light chocolaty flavor. It's nice with chai, nut, or fruit teas.
This is one of the best teas I've ever had. It's rich and luscious, perfect to drink before bed.
I have become a fan of honeybush tea. I started with the fruit flavors and tried this chocolate. I think it is a great tea but I am going to stick with the fruit flavors since they are nice cold too.
This tea is one that really benefits from a longer steep time. With a little sweetener and cream, it's practically cocoa. Very nice.
it smells wonderful and is sweet enough without any sugars, love using it as an iced tea
Used 1 16 oz bottled water container in my tea kettle. Pour hot water over tea for 5-6 minutes. I used Dewy Cherry, Pina Colada, and Honeybush Chocolate.
I didn't think this had much of a chocolate aroma when I first got it, so I was skeptical about how much it would actually taste like chocolate. I blended it with a little of the Honeybush Vanilla and I was pleasantly surprised at the delicious chocolate flavor. It's sweet on its own, but even better with a little sweetener and some cream. I'm definitely ordering more.
Really enjoyed this one, for the most part. Nice, sutble chocolatey taste, kind of flowery and honeyed at the same time. Good with cream.
Now for the bad part: If you're allergic to mangos or poison ivy, skip this tea. My mouth is so itchy now. :(
good flavor of both the honeybush and chocolate flavors
The chocolate flavor is nice but does not overpower the honeybush flavor.
Me and my sister agree it's chocolate flavor is so smooth and tastes like a bit of heaven. I think any true chocolate lover will enjoy this tea. Give it a try.
Not as mouthwateringly sweet as the honeybush vanilla, so not quite as good for a treat replacement. The honeybush is sweet on its own, though, and it may be interesting to blend with other flavors.
Lovely combination of tea and hot chocolate. Add a splash of milk for richness.
The best chocolate flavor of any tea I've tasted best of all when mixed with honeybush hazelnut
I so much wanted to like this tea - the idea of a warm, sweet chocolate-flavored beverage in place of dessert is very appealing. But to me this tastes watery. Also have had to stop drinking rooibos and honeybush varieties - before ordering I had not read any reviews mentioning that they can behave like estrogen in the body.
This was my first Honeybush tea and it is quite good. I can actually taste the chocolate flavor. :)
The Roobibos flavor is always good, but the chocolate is not as pronounced as in other tea.
Yummy! This is my favorite Honeybush tea that I have tried. The tea and chocolate flavoring work lovely together.
This was a bit of a disappointment. Not much chocolate flavor at all -- tasted more like just a plain honeybush.
This is really good. So good I have to put up with the fine pieces that go into the cup because the mixture has a lot of small pieces. I would buy again because the flavor is very enjoyable.
Surprised my friend with this when she visited for an afternoon gab on the back porch. A couple of sips in she exclaimed 'chocolate - love it!'
This is a tea that I would fight for! It is absolutely heavenly.
Perfect amount of chocolate flavor, mild, yet you can definitely taste the chocolate. I blended it with the decaf raspberry and what a heavenly delight. I also blended it with the decaf vanilla, how delish! Delicious, aromatic and soothing.
Wonderful flavor light chocolate. good for desert no calories or caffeine.good cold also.
I didn't get much of a chocolate flavour at all from this though I still did quite like the taste, I just probably won't order it again and keep my fingers crossed they'll make a black decaf chocolate tea.
This tea isn't bad. You can taste the chocolate but I probably wouldn't get it again since I prefer the chocolate mint one.
The smell of this tea is just absolutely lovely! I love sniffing the tea in the bag and after it's brewed. Such a wonderful smell. Although, once it's brewed, it doesn't seem quite as strong as I'd like, but I still love drinking it none the less.
I also tried blending it with a white chocolate peppermint tea that I got from another store and BOOOOY let me tell you it is the best! So much chocolate flavoring in one cup with a slight minty flavor.
This is my first honeybrush tea and I am pleasantly surprised. I was expecting something more like rooibos, however this tea is much more delicate (also much less red). The chocolate smells not all that appealing when you open the bag, however the overwhelming smell is really mellowed out when brewed and is a great not too overwhelming flavor.
It's OK. I need to try adding some milk to it, I have a feeling it would pair well.
The perfect fix for that chocolate craving, and my favorite sewing companion.
all the red or green rooibos are very good and the respective flavors are noticeable but not too much soo
I like this one a lot. Is is better mixed with chia than by itself, but I love chai and usually add some kind of flavor like vanilla, chocolate, almond, or hazelnut.
What a tasty tea! It smells amazing in the bag, and tastes just as good. I really enjoyed it with some agave and cream. Like candy in a cup.
This has to be my favorite honeybush tea! I love the rich flavor and the dark notes of the chocolate. I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys honeybush tea to give this a try.
Chocolate! Do I need to say more. Ha Ha yes we love that bit of chocolate flavor.
I like honey bush tea, this one has a good flavour but a little boring after trying the coco mint. I wish there was a coconut chocolate tea.
Out of the 4 teas I bought, this is my favorite! It will be easy to substitute this healthy (but feeling like I'm splurging) tea for a piece of chocolate every day. I will still feel indulged.
