The banana didn't quite shine as much as I was hoping, but it was still a nice tasting tea. Nutty aroma. Prepared as directed on bag.

★★★★★

One of my favorites! It's like a warm slice of banana nut bread in a cup.

I'm not the greatest fan of banana, so I wasn't sure about this one, but it's definitely something I will probably get again to serve as an evening wind-down tea. It tastes very much like a banana nut muffin, and the only 'complaint' I have is that I wish the nut flavor came out a little more.

★★★★★

I bought Honeybush Banana Nut as a gift for a friend (I can't taste it myself due to allergies) and haven't had any complaints, so based on that, I'd give this 5 stars!

The aroma is heavenly and the taste just a bit more pronounced and flavorful than some of my other favorites. Its very soothing and makes tea time an event! Both of my daughters love this tea also so I stocked up for Christmas gift giving>

I did not expect to enjoy this tea as much as I did. This tea tastes great as is, but with a touch of cinnamon honey it’s absolutely heavenly. I also love that it’s caffeine free for a treat at any hour!

Nummy. Honeybush is one of my favorite teas. This one is nice and soothing. Perfect for a cup of hot tea.

★★★★☆

It’s amazing how much this tastes like banana bread. The banana is light and the tea has a natural sweetness to it. I love honeybush tea as a base, it’s also useful when making blends. This one’s not my favorite of the honeybush teas, but it’s still a good one.

This is a wonderful dessert tea if you want something sweet for the day! I adore the scent and taste (even though I'm not a fan of bananas that much) - you can't beat the freshly baked muffin aroma. Definitely going to be ordering this in the near future!

Great desert tea. Nutty and banana-y. I added a bit of sugar and oak milk.

I already knew I was going to like this tea, considering I used this in a blend I made. I love banana muffins, and this is the perfect kind of tea to have on a cold winter night.

Before steeping this is fragrant like a banana muffin. 5 min @212. Each sip is I'm like I'm washing down a bite of banana muffin with my tea. The flavor lingers on the tongue. Definitely a keeper for me.

I felt bad pulling this out of my CommuniTea box this morning, knowing it wasn't going to be for me. There's almost nothing I dislike more than bananas, except maybe artificial banana flavoring! Still, good layers of other flavors, nice baked goods taste, and I drank the whole cup, so that tells you something. Not at all for me, but probably great for the person it's for.

I’m so sorry to say that this Honeybush blend is not for me. I’m pretty particular about artificial banana flavoring. Sometimes they are spot on and I enjoy them very much but such was not the case for me with this one. I think it’s just my finicky taste buds. For those with not such strong taste buds, I’m sure it’s worth a try.

was expecting not to like it because its banana but with a bit of honey, this isnt that bad!

It took me a few sips and a bit of time to get to the banana flavour, but wow. That sweetness and the bolder chestnut is a very different kind of combination that I'm used to, but it works. I should get a larger pack sometime soon because this seems like a wonderful dessert tea.

Brewed 10 minutes with 1 sugar cube. Tastes very warming, like less pungent cinnamon. Banana flavor increases as it cools. Very refreshing!

Bananas and nuts give you the flavor of banana bread. One of my favorites alone and in blends. Nice to start off the day.

Banana bread in a tea, this sweet and delicious hot cup is comforting. I enjoy the aroma even more than the taste of it, I need a banana nut candle...

Delicious tea with the strong aroma and gentle flavors of banana nut bread! Steeped for a little more than the recommended 5 minutes at 212 degrees, and added just a half teaspoon of sugar. Yum!

I hate bananas, but my husband loves this tea, so we're rating together. He loves the aroma, which is very on point for banana nut bread, but he felt like the taste wasn't quite as close. He still enjoyed it, and didn't need as much sweetener as he normally uses, so he would certainly buy it again. Steeped 5 min @ 195ª.

Anytime you create a tea to mimic a desert, I'll be at the head of the line.
Although banana bread would not be my desert of choice, this one is spot on. Smells delicious, the banana flavor is not too artificial, and the nuttiness pulls it all together. Good job, Adagio.

I'm not a big fan of banana flavored anything, but I do like banana nut bread. So when someone else's review compared this blend to having a slice of that, I had expectations that sadly weren't met. Perhaps it's just the mix of the small CommuniTEA packet, but I couldn't really detect the nuttiness that is supposed to be present. It was too skewed toward the banana flavoring which tasted a bit artificial like banana flavored runts (the candy). But to each their own, for me I wouldn't re-order this one.

The first honey bush tea I have tried and absolutely love it! Smells amazing and pairs quite nicely with banana bread.

★★★★★

Delicious and a bit like dessert. I enjoyed this with a little stevia and plain almond milk. It has a nice banana flavor and a bit nutty but not overpowering. I wish I had bought a bigger bag instead of just a sample.

This smelled and tasted very much like banana bread, the dry leaves being a little stronger than the tea. If you like banana bread and are interested, I would definitely try it!

This tea was good. As soon as you open the pouch it smells of fresh baked banana bread but the flavor tasted more of black tea than a banana bread.

Honestly I've never had a tea smell so much like a dessert before. I'm impressed that it smells so amazing and tastes so good

I love all the nutty teas this company makes! This one is so delightful! Top favorite. The banana and nut flavors are just right

★★★★★

This was a HUGE surprise for me! I had a single from a communitea and didn't drink it for months because I'm not a banana nut muffin fan. But this tea is coziness personified and makes me wish actual banana nut muffins tasted this good. It's such an authentic banana bakery flavor. It's now going into my evening rotation. I'm super impressed!

If you read before that this tea taste like a banana bread, it is because it really does. Just add a teaspoon of honey to your brew and try it if you do not believe me.

This tea is literally one of my favorites and my favorite herbal. Just 1-2 sugar packets/lumps makes it perfectly sweet and is the perfect way to hydrate in the afternoon.

In the bag: Similar to the Adagio photo, but with a higher concentration of marigold flowers.

On the nose (pre-steep): Clear scent of banana nut bread. A bit of that honeybush herb, but only as a background note. Mildly sugary.

On the nose (post-steep): The herbal honeybush is stronger, now sharing the stage with the bread. A touch of chocolate as well.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): The flavors match the post-steep aromas, save for the absence of chocolate. No natural sweetness.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): The sweetness turns this into a true dessert tea. It accentuates the banana and brings out hints of cinnamon.

Opinion: A lovely blend once sweetener has been added. It indeed reminds me of its namesake.

Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

Didn't love this one...banana is an odd flavor to have in tea, so maybe its just my own preference!

I don't generally like rooibos teas (at all), but I really, really enjoyed this! It definitely tastes like banana bread but isn't overwhelming. I'm planning to purchase more.

I love the Honeybush Banana Nut tea! It's like a sweet treat, but not really very sweet unless you add a little sweetener. It really does remind me of banana nut bread. It has a nice hint of cinnamon that really makes it nice. This is definitely one of my new favorites!

★★★★★

This is, no joke, one of the most delicious and decadent teas I have ever tasted! It's like a banana nut muffin in a cup. I will definitely be ordering this again!

The scent is divine and the taste is surprisingly on-point with the banana bread smell! Will definitely reorder in larger quantities.

My all time favorite tastes exactly like banana bread if you add a little cream and sweetener . I can’t be without it

I am not sure if something changed, this is still a staple in our home but it lacks the intensity it had when I first purchased a few years ago. I may have overdone it by drinking so much of it but I find it quite appley
